No, PSG were a better team in the game but they couldn't create more meaning chances in the game because Arsenal parked the bus after they scored an early goal against PSG in the 6th minute. I rooted for PSG to win, I was happy when they won Arsenal on penalty shootout. Luis Enrique is a coach that believe in team work over replying on one player, and so far his belief has helped PSG won the Champions League they couldn't win when they have Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar in their squad, so PSG are lucky to have Luis Enrique.

For a short period of the match I thought Arsenal would be able to take home the trophy, when they were leading 1-0.
You could say they even managed to keep control of it, honestly I didn't expect a different ending, in the sense that as I said the performances were balanced and in fact it ended up that I had to play it on penalties.
For me it was a gripping match, the ending in this case is the most adrenaline-filled, it doesn't last long but it's intense.

Since you said that the performance was balanced, what made you feel that Arsenal would have won PSG with the only goal they scored without PSG clapping back. When I saw that early goal, I wasn't bothered because I knew that PSG will definitely score because Arsenal started playing defensive game and gave PSG all the chance to attack them aggressively and mount pressure on their defense which led to that penalty. Let's wait till next season to see if Arsenal will have similar chance to reach the finals.

Paris Saint-Germain didn't do anything to try to score many goals, because they knew that if they were exposed, they would concede goals, so i don't know if this team is very poor as everyone says in defense, in fact they did an excellent job, obviously there was a lot of tactics during the match and whoever has the most experience wins.

PSG's performance on the final night wasn't as good as it had been before the match. I saw them only win the match on penalties and they were also broken through by the opposing team too quickly. So when they were behind they only resorted to attacking tactics until they scored a goal to equalize through the penalty kicks they were awarded.

This indicates that their performance wasn't as strong, simply because Arsenal played a defensive strategy, making it easier for PSG players to control the game. If Arsenal had played their usual game I think Arsenal would have won the final result because Arsenal were far stronger. However they seemed too defensive on the final night, which cost them the opportunity to control the match. In a final if one team makes the slightest mistake the result must be accepted and that's what happened to the team nicknamed The Gunners.

As I imagined, it wasn't a one sided game like many people expected, the game ended in penalties, it was very close, and even there, it ended up on the very last shot, 5th shot, to be able to say it was over. Arsenal got unlucky, penalties are about skill but also mostly about luck as well so it is clear that they just got unlucky.

PSG did something amazing, winning UCL back to back, that is not a common thing, after a year of treble, they did a year of double, this is not common in world of football,  in fact, there hasn't been a team that won their league and UCL together back to back in a long time.

It’s not possible that way, the pressure was too much on Arsenal, and they were lucky that Dembele and Kvaratskhelia were subbed off before the end of the second half, otherwise, the match would have ended in the extra minutes, because they were a threat to Arsenal defenders.

I think Arsenal played well in the final and Arteta's tactics really worked for him as he has planned and that's why the final has to be decided on penalties. Arteta tactics was to defend and score when they had the opportunity and that worked very well for them until they conceded the penalty in the 65th minutes of the game. I think his only mistake was not to sub Mosquera after he got a yellow, buy aside from that I think they did good in the game, because most people did not expect such a scoreline,  they were expecting PSG to batter Arsenal in the final, but like I have always mentioned here, it's a 50/50 game and no one should expect a high scoreline. PSG did not create clear scoring chances in the game, and that was due to Arsenal's defensive discipline. I think the game is a worthy final and congratulations to PSG for winning it and I also think Arsenal should be proud of themselves even after losing the final. I also want to point out that Arsenal is not going to wait another 20 years to get this opportunity again, I think they will win the champions league in the next 3 years.

I don't think Arsenal should have let a defender take the last penalty. When I saw it, I had a feeling about how it would end. But they had prepared and trained for that moment, and Arteta explained the decision, but I still disagree with him. I highly doubt Gabriel would have been left to take the final penalty. Anyway, it's hard luck for Arteta and Arsenal. Penalty shootouts is a bit of luck, so fans shouldn't take it too hard. They were unfortunate this time, and that's part of football. The truth is that we don't know what would have happened if Arsenal players came out to play PSG if the game would been more tough or if Arsenal would have score more goals but with what I saw I can tell for certain that PSG would have score more goals even though Arsenal will also score. So what they did was actually best for them and it almost click out well for them if not for the penalty that later changed the score line but in summary PSG is stronger than Arsenal no doubt.

The media has a way of twisting the comments of known and highly respected individuals just to spike reactions and farm engagements. Sir Alex Ferguson I don't think will be petty enough say that Arsenal plays boring football. Saying that Paris Saint Germaine deserves to win the UCL trophy this season I don't think is out of place for a team that were the highest scoring and plays entertaining football. Since yesterday, I've been reading the report but yet to confirm if really made such comments. When I confirm the authenticity, I'll definitely react accordingly.

Against a direct and decisive PSG side, you want Arsenal who do posses the firepower in attack as Bayern Munich to attack PSG?! It will be archery and more like the game against  Inter Milan.
Arsenal had a good game plan trust me, they should have won the game if not for that penalty. People can now be critical of their game because they lost, we all know you need yo have a stable side, with a lot of technicality and also defending to go against PSG. Arsenal had the defenders but not the attack. As a Manchester United fan, I'm proud of what this squad has achieved. If they keep playing like this, they might well go on to win the Champions League several times, just as Real Madrid did under Zidane. That Real Madrid side was unstoppable and had wingers like Cristiano Ronaldo and Di María; they also had Benzema as their centre-forward. I don't think it was a mess, clearly they could have done better, they should have scored the second goal, but i understand that already scoring the first was difficult against a team that claims to be very offensive, in reality they were very defensive and it was therefore difficult for them to do well and go on the attack.

I think that Arsenal defended too much after getting the goal first, even though it was not a good situation if the whole match continued to do that way, because however I saw PSG they had seen many opportunities that could attack Arsenal even though only the finalty kick at the feet of Dembele managed to paralyze Arsenal.
I think Arsenal are too arrogant with their defensive strategy, thinking that not all teams can penetrate it even though they know themselves how PSG plays, but they still do that.
I prefer Arsenal to be a little more aggressive in attack, let alone counterattacks that they should be able to rely on when playing like that.

Now, after Real Madrid, PSG is having this honour of winning two trophies, and they can go for a third as well because they are having impressive depth with a good squad. No other team in Europe is capable of challenging them. Arsenal was surely not a bad side, but their defensive strategy hurt them badly. They were not able to hit PSG's defense with their attack, but still their game was good enough because they ended on penalties. Shoutout to this heartbreak for them. Now they are in history chapters with heading for another good season. Who could be champions? It's surely not easy to predict.

Luis Enrique is a hardworking and excellent coach, which is evident in his actions. He is an exemplary person who sweats a lot for the development of the club. Just as team management has the responsibility to manage a team properly, a responsible coach has the most important responsibility and I think he has those qualities. Maintaining discipline in a team and letting the players play in the right places according to their abilities and deciding strategies considering the opponent's capabilities are the responsibilities of a great coach to contribute in every area and he was very sincere in his responsibility.

Arsenal were the better team in the game but unfortunately PSG won the trophy on penalties. I would've liked to see Arsenal to win. I'm not upset that PSG won though because I enjoy seeing Luis Enrique succeed. He couldn't celebrate it well after the tragic events he went through last season. This time he looked genuinely happy. PSG are very fortunate to have him.

Well they didn't and that was a big relief for me. The whole space was quite and this thread didn't blow up with engagements the way it should have if Arsenal had won. I supported them all in to lift the premier League title and that was because I knew they had the capacity to secure it without any major threat. The UEFA champions League is a different competition entirely

Arsenal will keep trying to win this trophy. They're one of the best teams in the world and will always be among the favorites.

Without a doubt, they'll keep trying, but arriving at this level to compete in the final is a stage that will take them 3 more years to teach.
