Atalanta has finalized talks with Palladino to become their next head coach after Juric officially fired. I'm a bit doubtful about Atalanta potential under this coach if he is officially announced as Atalanta coach. Because, his experience is still not enough to make Atalanta back on track. I will never forget, how Atalanta has shown good performance in recent years, and they must be continue the progress, and bring a coach who can maintain their chances of competing for the title and able to compete for UCL, even not as a champions, at least can go to better position.

If you really mean this words, then we have to verify your loyalty as a fan of the Nerazzurri. Maybe that is your own way of consoling yourself from the frustration of the once indomitable club. They can still fight for European championship this season even if they have lost hope of winning the Seria A which is rather too early for me because none of the teams is going on winning streak just yet.

This was how it was last season but as the league gets more matured, the rest clubs started falling behind. It was only Inter and Napoli that was able to fight for the title till the end. I wouldn't be surprised if these clubs on top 5 start dropping points and can no longer be amongst the title contenders.

The San Siro has given Inter Milan endless opportunities, as it feels great to me that this team has regained top spot for the first time this season. Maybe it will be their consolation and revenge as they missed out on the Italian league title by just one point last season but we can already see that Inter Milan moved to the top of the current season after a 2-0 win over Lazio yesterday, the next goal for this team will certainly be to maintain this progress. Napoli are on the verge of collapse in the absence of a player but it is true that if Napoli can win their next game next weekend, we will see them at the top again.

Palladino ain't different than Juric. He's amateur coach, and lack of exp in handling the big club. It's such another weird appointment by Atalanta. I'm wondering why they are replacing a mid coach with another mid coach. They should go for experienced coach who was in the same level as Gasperini.
My impression is still remain the same. I'm very pessimistic with Palladino's appointment. It's not an upgrade.

Spaletti is right that the players lack the focus to win these games, which is why he was appointed to begin with, if the team was doing great then he wouldn't have been hired. However, we also need to remember that he is just starting and of course he can have a period where he is not doing that great.

I would assume that the best case for him right now is a few more games with the team and decide who is playing better. Because even if a player is more talented than the other, he can be benched if he doesn't give his all, which more often than not makes them play better because they do not want to lose their spot. So if you think about it, I would say this is actually a good thing and not a bad thing for the team.

Even as it's gotten to this point I still feel the league is still very early and with time when it's gone very far some of the clubs we feel are top contenders might drop points but I love how tough the competition is currently since it would cause all current top contenders to sit up and avoid dropping points.

 I really admire Napoli's courage to try defend the title even when they know it's going to be tough they still put much effort to make sure they're at the top and remain there for a long while. However I thought Juventus would improve this season but they still have a long way to go.

I don't think it's only a focus-related problem... I don't find their squad good enough for a title race. I find a few things not good enough:

- They don't have a good right winger

- Neither Vlahovic nor J. David look reliable for scoring

Well, I have to congrats to Inter for being on the top now, at the beginning of the seaso, when Inter Milan announced they are choosing Chivu as their coach, I think inter will not be great as Inzaghi did. But I and maybe another wrong about him. Chivu start to bring inter to the top after bad results at the start. Inter also become the most productive team so far with 26 goal scored.

This was how it was last season but as the league gets more matured, the rest clubs started falling behind. It was only Inter and Napoli that was able to fight for the title till the end. I wouldn't be surprised if these clubs on top 5 start dropping points and can no longer be amongst the title contenders.

Well so far it been interesting in the league, the competition this season have everyone talking and that how it suppose to be. When the league is this competitive it become unpredictable. When you look At the points gap between the league leader to fifth position you will see that is not that much, In this case if you should lose a match you will drop in the standing.
Well we still have a lot of action after the international break so to predict who to win the Seria A this season is still very difficult to predict.

Are you getting something wrong? Last year, two teams were fighting for the title, and neither dominated—Napoli and Inter alternated between the two. I liked that season, especially its results. This season, the competition is fierce, but watching Serie A is pure torture - the scoring is incredibly low, and teams can't show any consistency. The favorites struggle to beat the underdogs, and many games end in goalless draws. When there is an alternative (and there always is) it is better to watch something else.

He's not as strong as he pretends to be, his method is destructive for the team, it only works for one year, like scams.
After that it doesn't work anymore and leaves a devastated team, I would say that as a system it's not that good

Atalanta - Sassuolo 0-3

I am surprised; this result is far beyond prediction. I thought Atalanta would win easily. Sassuolo did play tightly and capitalized on mistakes made by the Atalanta players. Moreover, Sassuolo's defenders also played very well, successfully thwarting several of the best opportunities. This situation made Sassuolo appear more effective, even though their statistics are much worse than Atalanta's. What went wrong with Atalanta yesterday?

Sassuolo Calcio football team performance was at top in the last match as they did 3 goals in the last match and opponent team could not do any goal in this match as their players performance was not good in this match. Berardi was a person who did 2 goals in this match and did back to back goals when these were required to the team and he did first goal at 29 minutes and that goal was at penalty and we saw next goal at 66 minutes of the match. Pinamonti was a person who did second goal of the match and he did this goal at 47 minutes and made match one sided because opponent team was looking very weak after these goals.The passes of that team were less in this match but they overcome the situation and did great effort in this match.

I still can't understand what kind of motivation drives certain clubs (recently Roma, Southampton, Atalanta) to hire a coach like Juric. It's beyond my understanding.
In my opinion, at the start of this season with Atalanta, he had good results, capitalizing on the momentum he'd gained in previous years under Gasperini, but then, little by little, the effects of his treatment began to show (even with a recent excellent result in Europe).

Let's see who will be next Atalanta trainer: a couple of good names, like Palladino and Thiago Motta are in the running. We will know very soon.

Ivan Juric is a manager who hasn't proven anything in his 11-year career at this job. He has managed mostly Serie A teams. Southampton was an exception. But no success at all in all those teams.

Why would any decent team in this league like to give him a chance anyway?    It's really meaningless. I don't think he will find himself a job at one of big Serie A teams anymore. He should improve himself first to earn it.
