I get your frustration. Napoli are really far from their look in the last season. There is a big downgrade in their performance lately. Now with increasing number of injuries his lineup will also weaken.

This was how it was last season but as the league gets more matured, the rest clubs started falling behind. It was only Inter and Napoli that was able to fight for the title till the end. I wouldn't be surprised if these clubs on top 5 start dropping points and can no longer be amongst the title contenders.

I think that now Inter, Roma, and Juive have to work hard if they want to be among the top 4, I see Napoli as very tough; they are a solid team. And I'm liking Milan, I don't know if it's because Modric arrived, but he has certainly given this team a different look, and I like that. I know a team can still win the league in this way. We already have an example like Napoli from last season which scored much less than Inter and still made it.

Ah who knows the came of Gasperini changed Roma's pattern when it comes to the end of season. Roma has always been crap in the late season due to the managerial problem. That might be the reason why they signed Gasperini, who was always quite consistent at Atalanta. 

As for Napoli, i'm sure they can win scudetto, but Lukaku and KDB have to back from their injuries. I see those players are they relied with. Things worsen with Anguissa who also suffered injury and he's out for months.

Milan showed improvement lately, but maybe we are unable to expect to much for this season. Allegri may need more players that fit with his need. So its still acceptable if no title for this season, even Milan have better schedule than other top four.

Well, Next Milan will face their bro, hopefully no Milan players become injured in international match day.

Currently, the performance of each team in the top four is very competitive, making Serie A even more exciting this season. I see AS Roma performing well and managing to finish second. Whoever loses the match will be replaced by the team below. I doubt that Roma will stay long at the top of the standings. Roma does look stronger, but the match is still long, let's see if they are able to defend as champions.

I didn't know Anguissa was injured, I missed that news. I also think Napoli will win the Scudetto in the end! The team is strong, the coach is a winner, so the conditions are right for them to win the championship once again!

With the present situation at Atalanta and based on their position on the table maybe they can't be seen as top contenders this season, well things could change for them on the long run but currently I can't only think of them qualifying in the Europa spot except I see a change then I'll start considering them to be serious contenders again.

You are right about one thing there. Inter really don't look very good in big matches in the Serie A. Even that win against Roma wasn't taken easily. If you remember Roma were too dominant in the second half but they wasted a huge number of goal chances.  

But I would like to point out another thing as well. A team can still become the champions without needing to win all of their matches against big opponents. The ones against small teams are more like a decider on it.

For example you see how much Napoli and Milan stuggle in such matches recently.

You said Inter Milan must work hard just to be in the top 4. However, currently Inter Milan is still at the top of the standings and AS Roma is in second place. Meanwhile, AC Milan, which is ranked much lower, is praised. Maybe because you are an AC Milan fan, you dislike Inter Milan, so your analysis is less accurate. AS Roma really has to work hard because their squad is minimal and inadequate. If their main player gets injured, it will likely affect AS Roma's performance. Being in the top 4 is easy and achievable, but if AS Roma wants to be champions, they need to add quality players.

Regarding Atalanta, if Ade Lookman is sold, it will be hard for them to recover, plus they just fired their coach. So they need star players, and their old players should stay at least until the end of the season.
