I'm really interested in the transfers Como will make this summer... They are already a rich team as you know. As they have qualified for the CL it's time to spend some good amount of money.

Nico Paz is a start they have made already. €60m for his fee and now he is a permanent player for them! All they need to do is to listen to Fabregas' player targets and make them happen as much as possible.

Signing Nico Paz is in itself a major investment; 60 million is certainly no small sum.
In my view, they should now be investing in young Italian players – and perhaps talented Italians who are struggling to break into the first teams and get playing time at the big Italian clubs. One player in particular who springs to mind is Frattesi; I could definitely see him fitting in well at Como.

Exactly, Frattesi is an excellent player. We saw what he did against Barcelona in the UCL , scoring that crucial goal. His current market value is around €20 million, and i think it could drop even further. I also believe he would fit Como's style very well. But just look at how much they were willing to pay for Nico Paz, who is realistically their best player. It's a shame he didn't get more playing time at the World Cup, but i'm sure he'll continue to be Como's key player.

Lately Como is said to be after Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea. I expect more signings by Fabregas until the end of the summer. They should prepare well for the challenge of playing in the Serie A and Champions League both.

Rather than focusing on Serie A, Como is more intent on honing the team for the UCL, as this will mark their first-ever appearance in the competition. Davinson Sanchez, Florian Kastenmeier, Moise Kean & Trevoh Chalobah, these 4 players are strongly linked to Como. BTW, don't know if Como has made a major transfer or not, because I see data on Transfermarkt showing a negative figure for their transfer record.

The potential of Davide Frattesi was proved by the beautiful goal he scored against Barcelona. The fact that his transfer value is on the decline is an ideal chance that Como can save on his signature. The midfield duo of Frattesi and Nico Paz will certainly be a major threat to other defenses in Serie A.

I don't think so. Chalobah may be Como's last signing if it's happening. They have been wasting so much money to sign so many players. The bought Yan Couto from Dortmund last time. So adding Chalobah is making their backline has more depth, which i think that's enough for them to face their Champion League competition.

Davinson Sanchez is a very important player for Galatasaray, but I think the club would be willing to sell him if a substantial transfer fee were offered.
Given the economic conditions in Türkiye, any player could be sold if a good offer comes along.
Como has a transfer budget, and the signing of Nico Paz might have strained it somewhat.
They need a solid defense to compete in the Champions League.
Sanchez and Chalobah are exactly the kind of players who would suit Como well.

It seems that with the current strength that Como has, it is already very good, without having to add ammunition which people think will increase the team's strength, but it seems that Como does not want to bring in new players, Como's strength in Serie A is indeed quite solid and is worth questioning for big clubs in Europe.

I'm not sure if he is a very important player for us now man. He can really make insane mistakes which can cost us too much. He isn't consistent that's the problem.

He played much better in the 2024-25 season for example. But of course Galatasaray should sell him on the condition that they get a convincing offer from Como. And depending on if they find a strong replacement as well.  Smiley

This player has participated in 3 consecutive titles, in the 2024, 2025, 2026 titles, his performance in the Turkish Super League Champion has been quite good and strong. Therefore, he intends to play with his team until 2029 and if he plays well until then, he can become a very important player. Actually, he is a defender due to which his work is quite strong and stable, due to which he has put pressure on his opponents in every match. This is so important for Galatasaray, so why are you doubting his strength and play? Galatasaray is considered one of the strongest teams in its league, so it is also known to be important for the success of its team. That is, if you think that Galatasaray will get a better player than him by selling this player, then it is a big mistake to sell this player.

I'm curious to see them play in the Champions League

Paz was a key player for them last season. No wonder they wanted to sign him permanently. €66m is quite a big sum for a 21-year-old player maybe but a good investment for the future...

I guess Como would spend more money this summer compared to previous seasons. Because they are about to compete in the CL next season. Fabregas would like to get the best out of their adventure there.  Grin

Inter Milan have now agreed to sign John stones as a free agent. His contract was up at Manchester city and inter gave him a 2 years contract. A lot of top teams wanted his service but at the end he decided to join inter Milan. It really a good signing from them, with his experience and knowledge I think he would help inter Milan in trying to retain the scudetto next season.

I really see this signing as a good one, especially since it free. Inter Milan have been looking for a top defender and it really nice to see them get one for free.

Now I still believe inter will still try to bring in more players to the team, they need add in more players if they really want to challenge in Europe.

I think Nico Paz is a key player for Como always
in fact it would be right for them to negotiate to buy it in order to secure it permanently
as long as he is on loan from year to year it is just a postponement of the inevitable
they buy it and that's it

so they are fine

Juventus has loaned Loïs Openda to Lyon. Loan fee is €3.5m.

Source: Fabrizio Romano

I really didn't understand anything from what Juventus did with him. First they loaned him from Leipzig and he had a really poor year.

Then they got him for around €43m. Now he has been loaned to another club... I guess at first their deal with Leipzig was like a loan with a mandatory buy option? Then they messed up after seeing his performance.  Tongue

Nico Paz is Como's best player ever, they made a great investment and obviously paid him what he is currently worth, I'm sure Como will make other great signings to build a great team around Nico Paz; he will be the cornerstone of the entire team.

Grin
Nico Paz was a very important player for Como last season in the Italian league, in fact I think that this player has made an incredible contribution to the Italian league team's improvement and giving them a chance in the UCL, so it can be said that he has always been the best player for this club.

The Italian league club saw the talent of this young Argentine player on the field but Madrid did not see it and as a result they sold the 21-year-old player for 66 million euros, at the moment it seems to us that 66 million may be a big amount but his market value has increased so much to give Como a chance in the UEFA Champions League for the first time and to take them to the top four in Serie A, if he can continue his brilliant performance like last season then this team will be able to compete aggressively in the Champions League next season.

The Italian football are so focused on who should be their new face in terms of technical director and coach, yes the two Newly placed technical director and coach are actually fantastic but for me Italian football should focus more on the league and stop the drama in high places.
The Italian league has fallen badly, you can't have a league this low and think you will get anything out of international football, their should be new laws that encourages youth growth and development, more protection for all Italian players and coaches too.

Nico Paz played a key role in Como's success last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 6 assists in 35 appearances. So it would be wise to sign him permanently.

Como will be competing in the Champions League next season, and their squad needs more strength now. So they might not sell any key players from last season's squad but add more potential players. Since they will be competing in both Serie A and the Champions League next season, it is only natural that they will have to spend more now.

I think Nico Paz is a key player for Como always
in fact it would be right for them to negotiate to buy it in order to secure it permanently
as long as he is on loan from year to year it is just a postponement of the inevitable
they buy it and that's it

so they are fine

I don't want to say something stupid, but if I'm not mistaken, Nico Paz was purchased outright from Como for 66 million euros. If I'm not mistaken, I read somewhere that this is the case, but I've never checked or done any further research. In any case, Como is making a great project around this player

With the current state of the Italian football it doesn't look that good, because Italian football in general needs a total overhauling if you ask me. Because Italy has not gotten it right when it comes to their football,  imagine a country like Italy missing out on consecutive world cup.
The cure to this lies in having the right developmental programs at the youth level, which should be monitored as they progress into the league. Again for Italian football to come back to limelight teams at the Seria A should have a specific number of players solely for players of Italian origin.
This will create a system that will bring out players that can compete at the national team level, because at it stand now what Italian is lacking is quality players which could compete with other countries. This new coach that has been appointed should focus on youth development because, that is the key to developing the Italian national team.

Anyway, we're really hilarious in Italy! We had chosen the new national team coach, and the president of the Italian football league (FIGC) cancelled everything! Paolo Maldini and Leonardo have resigned from their respective roles and have been replaced by Claudio Ranieri, the new coach will be Roberto Mancini once again after winning Euro 2021.
An incredible chaos

It'll be tough, but if they bring in a few quality signings, they can definitely hope to pick up some points in the Champions League. Of course, it'll be even harder since they'll have to balance both the UCL and Serie A. They should be ready to spend some money and sign at least two more really good players. I'm sure Fabregas will find the right additions to the squad. I haven't really been following the transfer news, so i don't even know who they're targeting. Hopefully they'll focus on bringing in younger players.
