Let me also mention Icardi. He's a really good goalscorer. Yesterday, he made another great finish and brought the score to 1-4. If he had the mindset to play football and lived a little more professionally, he could easily play for Galatasaray for two more years.

Trabzon’s midfield is weak comparing to besiktas. and their forward isn’t very effective either but still they are second in the league... From what I’ve seen Trabzonspor plays extremely well comparing to their normal in hard matches. But in ordinary games they don’t push the game enough. I expect a great play and extra motivation from Muci. i think Trabzonspor is closer to win the match.

I was expecting a fast-paced and intense game, and we saw 4 goals in the first half. I bet on over 2.5 goals, it came easily. Cerny and Toure were excellent, but Toure got a red card. The second half could be difficult for Beşiktaş. They were down to 10 men again after another red card, when they should've been playing 11 vs. 11. We remember well what happened in previous matches. I hope lessons have been learned and it doesn't happen again. We might see a slower-paced game in the second half if they continue with 11 vs. 10 game.

For the ones like me who is not supporting any of them the game was very entertaining. But if I were a Trabzonspor or Beşiktaş fan, i would definitely have been extremely frustrated  .
Anyway it was one of the best Turkish local league match I’ve watched this season. Besiktas played better in the first half but considering the match as a whole, Trabzon deserved the victory.

Being a man down is obviously significant, but I just can't wrap my head around why they immediately resort to sitting back when reduced to 10 men. When down to ten men, no one tries to play the ball. Everyone's game suddenly turns into a scramble for possession. The opponent attacks, you clear it randomly, then the opponent recovers it and comes back again. If this game is played for 45 minutes, even the worst team can score one or two goals, and Trabzon weren't particularly sharp in front of goal today.

Besiktas was only in possession of the ball in the first half but after E. Touré got that red card, the game changed and Trabzonspor became in full possession of the ball which helped them equalized Besiktas from 2 goals behind because the score was initially 1:3 in halftime. Trabzonspor was even supposed to win Besiktas because the attack was much in the second half but despite the 14 shots on target they only succeeded to get an equalizer. I blame Trabzonspor for being too loosed in the first half because if they had applied same energy they gave in the second half they would have won and near the gap to Galatasaray by 2 points. Besiktas players should also learn a fair play so that they don't end up getting a red card for their carelessness.

Beşiktaş missed a huge opportunity. While leading 3–1, El Bilal Touré received a red card, leaving them with 10 men from the 38th minute onward.
Beşiktaş have never been able to play comfortably in derbies when they are ahead and somehow they always end up going down to 10 men.
First the Fenerbahçe match and now the Trabzonspor game, if they had won these matches, they would be in the title race, but because of big mistakes, they are now much lower in the table.
