I think the referee of the Galatasaray-Kasımpaşa match was really awful. He made many simple and critical mistakes during the match which were in favour of Galatasaray. There are 2 examples for it below.

Both of these incidents happened by an interval of a few seconds. I don't think it was a supporting arm situation for Sanchez. He clearly cuts the ball by opening his arm to the direction the ball is going. Later Torreira should have got the 2nd yellow for that challenge.

This is not surprising, as the same things happen every time. Positions are judged based on jersey color, not the rules. There was a handball in the Çaykur Rizespor match, but it wasn't even discussed. If we hadn't gotten 3 points, maybe that position would have been discussed.

It was impossible for Galatasaray to lose points in that match. It was already clear that a team like Kasımpaşa wouldn't even put up a fight against them. Kasımpaşa is one of the teams most intertwined with politics. The outcome is determined by what the power centers want, they win when necessary and lose when necessary.
I hope they get relegated this season. Teams like this shouldn't be in the Super League. The same goes for Karagümrük and Eyüpspor. There are already enough İstanbul teams in the league. City teams with real fans should be in the Super League.

A special shout out to Icardi. He signaled a return to his old days today. At one point, he went toe to toe in a physical struggle on the left wing against a strong Kasımpaşa player. He also scored his goal.

Galatasaray performed well and that was expected. And galatasaray was predicted to win their home match. Anyway , I was surprised by the performance of Kasimpasa players. It was not  expected that  they would perform so  badly. Their chances of winning were very low. But why won't they try to attack? It was a very boring match. Kasimpasa players could not make a single shot in the entire match. Only galatasaray's dominance was seen in this match. Galatasaray  was able to secure the victory by performing well.

It was already a deserved match for Galatasaray with that kind of effort. However it's still not nice to see this kind of referee errors in our football. 

Whenever I complain about errors in the games and how it possibly can change the whole game for a team, the opponents and the league entirely, you may sometimes feel like I'm asking for too much. The refereeing system in the super leagues and the Turkish league needs to be reviewed; handballs were ignored, serious foul attempts were ignored, or at most, give a warning.. I don't know your rules (if it's different from the rest of the leagues in the European football.

It was a great performance from Galatasaray and I must say, this win was expected. Kasımpaşa played were so scared of them they couldn't even press an attack. Meanwhile, open chances and one-on-one situations would have made it 7.

Just as you earlier mentioned during your analysis, it is very important to note that such incidence are very critical and at such needs to be thoroughly checked before making any verdict and I think that was the position of the referee in this particular situation, and you have to consider what the rule says also before condemning the referee too, remember he is human and not a robot, the player in question was already on the floor and which means he has lost total control of his movement which was why the referee didn't consider it a foul I guess.

Nowadays, VAR exists precisely to prevent human error from harming a particular team, and this photo is very clear: the Galatasaray player impeded the normal course of the ball using his hand. He didn't move his hand to avoid contact with the ball; on the contrary, he used his hand to deflect the ball. In another photo, it's clear that the Galatasaray player stepped on his opponent, which is a foul worthy of a yellow card. It seems to me that the Turkish league continues with bad refereeing to favor a certain team; this happened in the Portuguese league until two seasons ago.

I understand your point, but when a player is in such a position it relatively impossible to determine if the player deliberately disrupt the actual direction of the ball, and this has to do with what the rule states in such a situation, remember the player isn't standing on his feet in an uncomfortable position and whatever he does in such a situation is could be overlooked by the referee, and I want to believe that the VAR official had taken a critical view before assisting the centre referee with the decision not to award a penalty.

The referee may have erred in his decision not to award the penalty against Galatasaray after a defender was seen handling the ball in such a compromising position in the box, but on a second thought I think what influenced the referee's decision was the fact that the player was already handicapped and the referee didn't think the action was a deliberate one, I know everybody has their personal opinion on this issue but I think it should be left to the professionals(match officials or referees to analyse.
