As much as I want Galatasaray to do well, I also need my country to do well in the afcon and Oshimen is part of the team working towards our progress in the competition. So yeah, Galatasaray will have to go a few more weeks without Oshimen. Like you said, Lemina is back and should be ready to go with Galatasaray in a week's time. Champions league is also 3 weeks out so it's still far out.

Obviously it is a "tit for tat" type of situation going on. President of one team, and old president of another team is jailed or at least like taken into custody, not to prison, not that much, just jail and then some chat and then it will be courts decision what will happen. But two of the biggest clubs got this, so that people would talk about it.

You do not have to be Turkish or fan of these teams to know what's going on, reality is that we are seeing the government pushing a button, making tens of millions of people angry at something, or excited about it, so that they would talk about that. I am hoping  the outcome of the investigation is very positive to the point where if found guilty they will be punished and then that will serve as an example to others who may be intending to do the same. It is what I believe most persons are looking forward to that because it will also build some trust and confidence of others on the credibility of the league.

To be fair, the "corruption" thing has been common claim by the fans for many years now. I am not saying that it is true or fake, I wouldn't know and not many people really know what is happening in the middle neither, but the reality is that we are talking about something that is getting very different on the long run.

Genclerbirligi played a fantastic match against a strong opponent in their last match. One of the best performances I've seen this season.This was a match that truly exemplified how football should be played. Kudos to both teams for providing spectators with such an enjoyable entertainment.

A team playing with the true spirit of the old. Genclerbirligi Attacking was fast, aggressive, and full of running. They could have scored more than that. Meanwhile, Zubkov is a very classy player, capable of playing for any team, but the opponent didn't even touch his foot.
Trabzon couldn't close down the space, but they could press, so Genclerbirligi seemed to play intelligently and with passes. If they faced Galatasaray, I wonder if Genclerbirligi could make those passes against their clumsy pressing.

Isn't this break in the Super League too long you think? Maybe our league isn't one of the bests in Europe but I won't deny. I missed it already even though I'm enjoying the Premier League recently.

This break is of course great for teams who have players leaving for AFCON. But in case of reaching the finale there top teams can have problems in couple of matches in their absence. Especially Galatasaray I should say.

Galatasaray is still on vacations and their first game is going to be played on 17th January Gaziantep after this, big game against Atlético Madrid in Champions league, this is going to be interesting because currently Nigeria is having one game left in group stage.

Icardi is okay to play still they will miss their top scorer in this crucial game, most chances Nigeria will be able to have spot into last four because they are having good matches and their performance is showing good depth, this could be good for them in this big African event. But, things are still not clear about prediction which team is going to be having strong case for upcoming matches but most chances Osimhen will be available for crucial games.

Your prayers will never work because am a Nigerian, we equally needs him as  much as Galatasaray needs him, and you should be aware that Nigeria is one team that always go all the way to the finals or the semi finals of the afcon anytime the competition takes place, so you better take your mind off there because you might be disappointed if you want nigeria to be knockout now, we were the finalist later time, so I am positive that this time, we are definitely go to win it .

Most of the leagues are having break as par their weather conditions in Turkey, it's always take long because here conditions are not favourable for play so they will start again on 17th January 2026, best thing happen English Premier league never have break and proving good entertainment throughout December and January.

Few teams badly have problems due to this break but no one can do one good thing happen as AFCON announces now this event will be played after four years, this could be a big relief for many clubs in European league, now group stage matches already ended and because of this many players will be back to their respective clubs. This could be good for them with few still have to wait around 2 to 3 weeks.

For years now, Fenerbahçe should have been participating in the Turkish Cup with their U18 team. This way, they can both see their youngsters and give them this opportunity. Mert Müldür, Levent Mercan, İsmail, Oğuz Aydın should be sold without hesitation. Those jerseys needs to have some weight now. They are not good enough for their position.

Currently, Fenerbahçe needs Maestro and Musamba; they are being signed for the second half of the season. Ismail will be Maestro, and Alvarez will play as a defensive midfielder (number 6), but this may change depending on the situation at the end of the season.
Musamba is a striker who shouldn't be missed and, in my opinion, can provide the same level of contribution as Pier Webo.
