Comparing Icardi with Osimhen is a big mistake. When Osimhen plays 3 defenders must watch him every second. He creates so much space for other players even if he doesn't score. His contribution is huge for the team. But Icardi only score when the match is already 3-0 or 4-0. He cannot save the team when GS is losing. Opponent defenders are not even afraid of him anymore because he is too slow. Yes, he did great things in the past but now he is done. We can't compare him to a beast like Osimhen

This is definitely one of the best reviews I've read. Mauro Icardi played very well last year, but this year he's having a season far below expectations. Actually, we could somewhat predict this kind of performance at the beginning of the season, because he was going through a turbulent period in his personal life. He experienced a difficult separation from Wanda Nara, who was both his manager and wife. Now, with Osimhen shining with his magnificent performance, Icardi's chances of saving the team are slim. Galatasaray is much stronger with the Nigerian striker. There are players in much better teams in the Champions League, but the Nigerian is still in the top three of the goalscoring charts. This helps us understand his quality. As a Fenerbahçe fan, he's the only player I would want to see in the team.

There is a big problem here. Victor Osimhen is clearly the first choice for GS. But we saw last year and this year that he misses a lot of games. Even if he stays healthy because of red cards, african cup etc... Also, when Osimhen is playing but we can't score, they need a strong substitute to change the game.
Right now, that person is Icardi but he is not good enough at all... The worst part is, as long as Icardi is there, GS can't buy another striker. You can't convince a new player to join a team that already has Osimhen and Icardi...

Yes, that's true. Adding young players to the squad makes more sense, but I don't think Fenerbahçe's potential is sufficient to bring talented young players into the team. Because Fenerbahçe's scouting network isn't very good. That's why Sorloth might have been preferred for his experience. However, I agree with you on this point, it's time for teams to find young and talented players and sell them to the European market. For Turkey, being an economically attractive team is more important than success. Trying to achieve the successes that some teams in Portugal and Germany have achieved in Turkey could be an important tactic that will ultimately bring success.

Nobody cares outside of Africa is a true statement, if you are Nigerian then of course you would want to win, and these guys would want Türkiye to win something if there was a possibility, everyone would want their teams to win.

But you also have to realize that these teams are paying 20 million to a player who they can't use for 1.5-2 months because he goes to his national team, AFCON could be bigger, that doesn't matter, Nigeria is not paying his money, Galatasaray pays his money and of course they want to see him play, and not leave, and comeback injured every time, that is a normal thing to wish, nothing wrong with that. How would you feel if Osimhen said he was injured and didn't come to national team and then played for Galatasaray? I doubt you would be happy.

You're right, Europe has the European Cup, the Nations League, and many preparation periods. The whole world cannot be shaped according to the habits of one continent. We must also respect the organizations in Africa. Moreover, the Africa Cup of Nations isn't a rabbit pulled out of a hat. It's a regularly held event. Teams, managers, coaches, and fans should stop complaining about it and instead learn to plan their schedules and squads accordingly.

Moreover in my opinion Fenerbahce needs a winger more than a striker. Even Tedesco says this. They can't go anywhere with Kerem and Nene. When I think about the 40 million Euro transfer fee and 10 million Euro salary FB pay them, it is crazy. They must stop throwing money away like that.

Regardless of the level of the uefa champions League and the Turkish super league, victor osimhen and icardi needs to be at their best form to take Galatasaray forward. This is not about who is more important or not, it's about working as a team players, just for the betterment of the team nothing more.

Only Victor osimhen or only icardi can't play all the games throughout the season without burning out or getting injured, so they both are an asset to the club, so making comparison between them isn't ideal since they are both working selflessly according to their capabilities in the interest of the club.

Injuries are having serious impact on Icardi performance still he is doing good job and playing his role for success of Galatasaray, they are having crucial time in Champions league and things are not looking easy for them in last two games, but this is still balanced chance for them.

Atlético Madrid coming to Istanbul while for last game, they are going to visit Manchester city, both the games are challenging and Osimhen presence will give them good boost even chances are not high still they have good chance of going into knockout stage against these big giants.
