I don't agree. Galatasaray is playing worse lately. They just lost to gaziantepspor few days ago. I think they might lose the lead in the league. The points are very close with other teams. If they focus too much on the Champions League, they might lose the local league.

The loss to Gaziantepspor is the only lost game for Galatasaray in the league so far and shouldn't be what I can call a worse play especially with much games still to be played before May when a winner will emerge. The points might be very close but am not certain  with Fernebache perpetuating this current challenging form against Galatasaray till May for the title as they have proven to be  undependable previously.

But we are seeing a team with no tactical depth or rotation. Relying solely on high pressing and long balls without a proper set play is a waste of this squad’s potential. As we have seen in the Atletico Madrid game, we can safely say that the team being fresh and giving more importance to this game WAS about this league. We have seen Galatasaray lose super cup, and then fail to win a simple team in the Turkish league, all lead up to them almost guarantee going to playoff stage.

So yeah, while I do understand that this is Turkish league topic, that UCL game was related to league game, teams care about UCL more than they care about league, and that is why they may have bad games in the middle. I wouldn't call it "spam", I would call it observation of why I assumed Galatasaray played badly last league game.

Trabzonspor won the match by 2-1. I can't say this was one of their best performances. The goal expectation from them was 0.65 despite 14 shots. But it is important for them to be able to secure a win by even 2 goals in this situation.

By the way Oulai has been at the centre of attention for Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray both. But I find it so unnecessary to make offers for him such as €30m and above. He is playing really good but it is first season only.

Now Trabzonspor has seen an opportunity to make a big profit. They bought him for only €5.5m last summer.

When we see Osimhen fighting alone in the future, it becomes noticeable that the other players' performances are gradually declining. The Nigerian player is trying to carry Galatasaray single-handedly, but this is not possible. Football is a sport played with 11 players, and you have to be good as a team. Right now, the Nigerian footballer is by far the hardest working and most successful player compared to the others. Osimhen is the reason for much of Galatasaray's current success. When is the actual deadline for the transfer window? The thing is they didn't keep their promises, which is looking very bad for everyone. I don't think it is professional way to do things. The players and their managers must be asking more money because Beşiktaş is more desperate now. They must feel like they can push Beşiktaş because of the desperation. These things are very very bad for the club image.

On the other hand getting rid of all the 'garbage' is actually a positive thing. Almost all the bad players are gone one way or another. This fresh start can be a good thing but I don't know this club management can do it properly.

Serious improvement is what Galatasaray needs at this time so they do not get to loose out retaining the title this season again, they have obviously been declining with their performance, it started mostly after Osimhen left for AFCON, at first it felt like they were going to do better regardless but so far it dose not seem like, I wish they recover early enough.
