Indeed, the top four teams appear to be at full strength. All have scored three or more goals in their matches. This is shaping up to be a high-scoring journey. It remains to be seen whether Porto can also score 3 or more goals to match the pace of their rivals.

I love how the league is moving this season, the big teams are really challenging for the title and it makes a lot of sense, well in recent years the battle have always been between 2 teams but the way it goin this season I think it will be different. Sporting are now level with porto on the same points, a win today for Porto will move them 3 points clear again. They will be playing away from home, it might get difficult for them but I think they should win.

It really easy to win bet on the Portuguese league this season, it has been on of my favorite league to gamble on this season, the wins always come and it comes with goals. I made a bit of profit from them this weekend and agin in another slip I just have to wait for Porto to win today and with 3 or more goals in the match.

after 4 games without winning, Braga finally won a game



and it was a very convincing victory, it was as if the Braga players had focused on taking revenge in this game for all the last consecutive games they had not been able to win, without a doubt that having scored 4 goals without conceding any goals in this game will make the players, coach and fans very motivated for the next games, we will see if they really recovered or if it was just luck they had and they will have an excellent opponent to test this, their next opponent in the league will be Porto, which is the current leader of the table, a Braga victory in this game would ruin Porto's plans

They finally managed to win, but it was a long time coming for a team like them. I really believe in this team and hope they can overcome this and fight for the top four. But they need to keep up this pace to win any title.

After the Portuguese Cup games, we had the European competition games. Both Benfica and Porto lost their matches and left a bad impression. Sporting and Braga, on the other hand, won and showed a good attitude.

Despite a somewhat shaky start to the season, Braga's performance improved dramatically. Therefore, I don't think they're surprising, but rather doing exactly what was expected. Even so, it is a fact that this year Braga is a little weaker than in previous years.

It's a little difficult to bet on Braga
Despite being the fourth strongest team in the Portuguese league, I don't usually have much luck with their games
Sometimes I manage to get a parlay with Braga giving higher odds, but it's not always the case

I'm still not happy with the team's performance this year; it's below what they've been doing in recent years

But incredibly, the team is having a great campaign in the Europa League

This question also applies to Braga. They are or were drawing a lot, and this ends up affecting the players. Honestly, I want to see something different in this top four this year. They need to do something to change this. They have everything—potential, a team—but they don't perform, they don't score, or when they do, they draw.

It took Sporting to score the first goal quite a long time though.    But they were always in control of the match already. Now they are the temporary leader in the league.

Vitória haven't lost a match home yet. I don't see Benfica convincing enough too this season. If they can lose points against Rio Ave recently then why not it doesn't happen again?

Braga got a draw against Sporting in their last match away. So Porto had better watch out. But I think they will win and take back the lead.

Yeah, such one sided game, but it took almost 70 minutes to score first goal. I had Sporting total over 2.5, offcourse they had to ruin my bet.
Benfica today had a bit more difficult game against Vitoria Guimaes. They didn't had much advantage in 1st half, scored only in 2nd half and soon after goal Vitoria got red card. After it, game has changed and Benfica got easier life.

I would be surprised if Braga drew.
I think Braga has a team capable of putting up a good fight, but normally Braga tends not to pull off surprises in these kinds of games. We'll see if today is different.

I never put any expectations on Braga, especially when they're playing with Big 3 club. Braga had awful start of season, but with few wins in a row in different competitions they seems to be back on track. But still, Porto at Dragao is just too good IMO

I know the game hasn't balanced yet but Braga may not hold Porto even to a draw. Porto already made a shot on target, next shot on target might count as +1 for Porto. Looking at the table, Braga has to do exceptionally well not losing to Porto, their performance hasn't been stable, against the leading team in the league, it is demanding that they put on their best performance, Porto hasn't lost any match, Braga doesn't look like breaking the reign.

Braga is a good team but I don't think that, by current form Braga can go to tow to tow with FC Porto. Porto has a better squad depth and experience than Braga. Porto should score more goals in this second half to seal their victory and be in the same points with sporting which are  on top, let see how Porto will respond to this goal that has been scored by Braga.


This game will produce many goals because the two sides are out to score plenty goals. Porto can't avoid to drop points at this moments because any point that Porto drops will give sporting Cp more advantage on top of the league table.

Sporting Lisbon has defeated Arouca at home twice in a row. The first time was last Wednesday in the League Cup, where they convincingly defeated Arouca 5-1. The second match was in the Portuguese League this weekend, where they won again, but not as convincingly as in the League Cup match. In this match, they only won 2-0.

Porto won, and this is a sign that this season Porto is the main contender for the title. They are unstoppable this season. I wonder which teams will make them lose so they fall off the top of the table and Benfica can become champions. As a Benfica fan, I don't see them managing to overtake them. Unfortunately, everything indicates that Benfica will not be champions again this season. Congratulations to Porto for the victory, they deserve it.

Changes have occurred in Braga even though they started the season with many defeats, in the previous match Braga consistently getting points will be the key to revival and enthusiasm when facing Porto.
Porto is one of the two strong teams in the Portuguese League I admit that Porto is considered a higher level so it is superior in the match later. Porto also cannot consider Braga weak they have started to get a winning streak, the unwanted thing is a draw.

A great bet, unfortunately I didn't place it because I was afraid of the inconsistency of both teams, whether Porto wins or Braga draws. There wasn't much to predict before the game, so I decided not to even look at that issue. But Porto, with this victory, is consolidating its position, and the much-talked-about Braga is sinking further and further.
