Currently, Sporting CP is entertaining Arouca as visitors are leading by 0–1 at the end of 35th minute game Suarez L. score goal which gave them lead while they are having good consistency after beating PSG, their confidence level is also high which will keep them staying in hunt for the Porto, even this is looking not easy due to good performance from league leaders.

I already wanted to write angry poste about Sporting and how it's possible to drop points against one of worst teams in league. But very late goal from Suarez saved their asses and I didn't had to write rant. Still, it was shit game from Sporting, but maybe it's normal after such difficult game with PSG in Champions league. They have really good chance to end group stage in Top 8 now.

This is very common. The motivation for a Portuguese team to play against PSG is much greater. After what they've achieved, their egos tend to get a little inflated, and the coach has difficulty maintaining the same levels of motivation/concentration against a smaller team.

The players almost unconsciously get the idea that "if we beat PSG, we can beat anyone." That's when concentration falters and the game becomes complicated. Furthermore, there's the physical strain of a game like the one they had against PSG, which also complicates the situation.

The game ended with a victory for Sporting. It was a game in which Sporting came very close to drawing; fortunately, they were lucky to score the second goal in the 90+6 minute. Now they are only 4 points behind the leader Porto, who will have a complicated game in their next match. Therefore, I have some doubts about tomorrow's game. However, Porto will still win this match. They need to score more than one goal against Gil Vicente. They are still in the lead for the championship and don't want to lose their advantage, as Sporting Lisbon are four points behind them.

I agree with you, Joker, the motivation to play against a big team from another country that is also the current European champion is much greater
And that makes the players try even harder to win that kind of match

As for the victory against Arouca, with a goal scored in the 90+6th minute, it was incredible, but this type of goal is not uncommon in the Portuguese league
It was and still is something that really catches my attention. If you notice, many matches are decided in those last few minutes

It's going to be interesting situation because in 4 games, they are having 4 goals and conceded only 1, this was scored by Plzen and this match ended in draw, now they are going to face team which is having good track record with have goal against their opponents in last 5 games.

Porto needs to be doing more effort if they want to secure three points against Gil Vicente otherwise things could turn problematic for them because currently they are having 4 points difference while their both opponents are having good run and Benfica and Porto only teams without losing any game in this season. Porto defense is at his best but can they still hold their nerve or Gil Vicente will do magic once again for stealing one point.

In this situation, the same applies to smaller teams, where there is a lot of pressure and demands on the team. When they lose to a smaller team, or when they don't play well, this pressure that "we can lose to anyone" or "we're not a good team" will also cross everyone's mind. It's the coach's role to know how to balance these demands and understand when to push the players harder or not.

I bet on Porto to win with odds of @1.40. It's not an odd I usually bet on because I don't like the low value of that type of odd, which doesn't pay off in the long run. But because I see a good chance of Porto winning the game, I think it's worth the risk to bet on Porto's victory. I'll also be watching the game.

For a few minutes I wondered why I didn't do a parlay bet with Porto, Benfica, and Sporting winning; I would have profited more. Unfortunately, I was afraid Benfica would lose and make me lose my bet, so I put Sporting in another parlay bet.
