It's not only being tired after game with Real. Yesterday pitch conditions were awful - it was raining very heavily that was hard to make good pass. Offcourse, it's not excuse for Benfica, they have to beat Tondela in any conditions. They're perfroming in league poorly, they dropped so many points against weak teams. Now they're indeed out of title race.
Speaking about Sporting, they managed to save their ass only in last seconds. Honestly, before season I didn't expected that Suarez will score something like 18 goals in whole season. Now he already have it, and it's just February.

it was a very unexpected result. apparently Porto were tired after the match with Rangers in the Europa League or underestimated their opponent. Sporting did close the gap but their victory was achieved in added time so they also could have lost some points. the next match will be a direct clash between Porto and Sporting so 4 points could convert into only 1 point gap.

Porto suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 2-1 away to Casa Pia. Porto created several chances but only managed to beat goalkeeper Sequeira once.

The referee didn't award a penalty in the 24th minute when Samu was held down and prevented from shooting. I believe VAR should have intervened and alerted the referee to the foul.

The turning point of the match was William's flying kick to his opponent, resulting in a red card. I don't understand why he would have tackled the ball like that. If he hadn't received the red card, Porto might have salvaged a draw.

With this defeat, Fenerbahçe remains the only undefeated team in the European leagues in the title race. Fenerbahçe also won 0-2 away against Kocaelispor yesterday.

It must be a really sad way to get their first loss for Porto... Because they were in control of the match nearly all the time but still couldn't prevent those 2 goals.

They should have been more productive to answer at the same time. Many shots on target and one hitting woodwork. This was a good chance for Sporting as they dropped it to 4 points with the leader.

As predicted, Braga won away from home and scored more than 1.5 goals. It was actually many more goals. An excellent match, they are taking advantage of opportunities in the championship and it was a very good odd.

Moving on to the match between Benfica and Tondela, I think this was one of Benfica's worst matches of the season because how could they be satisfied with just one point without scoring a single goal against Tondela, a lower-table team that might be relegated this season.

I watched the game and I didn't think Benfica played badly. Could they have done more? Yes, I could have. But everything is much more complicated when the other team defends with 11 players inside the penalty area. Tondela couldn't even mount a counter-attack.

This scenario of smaller teams defending with 11 players is very typical in the Portuguese league, which somewhat lowers the quality of the games.
