They view investment as a promising avenue that will make them rich quickly, but the truth is, it's not as easy as imagined; crypto is fraught with risks. So, in conclusion, to avoid fraud, you need to have a thorough knowledge of what you're investing in. If you're investing in crypto, you need to deepen your knowledge about it, and be skeptical of anyone offering you a dream, as no investment promises quick riches.

Yes, you are right. Spammers are always waiting for opportunities. They can use these opportunities to attack newbies because newbies fall into their traps and lose a lot of things. Spammers try to gain their trust first, and then they start attacking. When they start attacking, newbies can do nothing but stare and watch.

Buying Bitcoin, or someone suggesting you buy Bitcoin, doesn't count as a dream, especially like the ones where you are told that if you make an investment in a specific project or website, you will get x returns after x days, which is a fixed rate and an obviously fabricated lie/scam. When it comes to Bitcoin, the returns can't be fixed, and someone else won't get any benefit if you buy Bitcoin when they tell you unless they are after referral earnings. That being said, one should make sure that they are using the right platform or way to buy Bitcoin or any other asset and never go with exchanges or platforms suggested by strangers.

Just be doubtful. Treat like everything that happens that is too good to be true are not real at all but scams. And always DYOR, that is our weapon not to fall for any scams or traps from scammers. This may be an old strategy for us early investors but newbies could still easily fall for this, most especially that most of them invest for the sake of getting instant money or profits.

Everyone must limit themselves from interacting with unfamiliar people, especially those who intend to offer help or certain benefits to us. Most times, people fall into the hands of scam because they are too greedy and want more from little and most times it’s the newbies that fall more for these scams and I wouldn’t have to totally blame them for this.
I totally agree with op never to buy others dreams especially when it has to do with cryptocurrency because we might just end up messing things up even worst than we could ever imagine.
I think I’ve always said it previously that, everything online should be handled with extra caution especially when it has to do with money, don’t even trust anyone, please do all the findings and verifications you ought to and don’t even be in a hast to conclude without a thorough investigation and evidence.

Because getting free things is never always desired, so how do you expect to get your hard-earned money back, you should have suspected it before.

As a responsible investor, you should know already the difference between dream and reality. If you see it like a dream, make sure to study and evaluate that thing prior to making decision to invest, and as long as you’ve seen it as too good to be true, then leave it, that will turn a scam later on.

People don’t think deeply; once they see a big offer, they are always ready to go with it and do whatever those offering the deal ask them to do. If someone is not greedy, it will be hard for scammers to convince them and get them scammed.

When something sound too good to be true please avoid it I have seen people that have been scammed by things like that a friend of mine was asked to invest $100 and get $600 in one week time and he decided to invest and that was how he got scammed so please avoid any thing that is too good to be true especially when it concerns investment or money.

Sure, your advice is helpful we keep saying this countless time but it surprises me when I see people falling for this type of scam when they already know about this, I think the reason why most people still fall for this type of scam is due to greed. If I trust the seller and I have done my own research about that dream and arrived at a conclusion that the dream can actually be achieved with a clear framework, I will not hesitate to follow it up and do the neccessary. How do you think partnerships are built?

Now relating it to the crypto space. I will not advice anyone to to listen to any stranger or anonymous person when it comes to crypto investments. There are some obvious red flags one would see and know that whatever the dream, plan or investment might be, it will never be realistic.

what you said is true, the best way to avoid being scammed is knowing the sign of scammers. how to minimize the risk of getting involved is to avoid greediness because scammers capitalizes on greedy people, when something is too good to be truth people need to be very careful, because there must certainly be something wrong except that such person does no understand the sign language. most times i see how people drop offers online to invest $100 and get $150 in 45  minutes but many people will be ignorant of the fact that such offer are too good to be true without considering where such profit can be made with such time frame, and they will still go ahead an put their money and cry later.
