What really killed the Super Eagles recent matches were the coach fault because he selected those players so we should not blame others and the next persons to blame are the players. Everything works interwoven for the benefits of the team to grow and achieve altogether, because if the coach make the selections of players to use and they all failed to deliver by working not been coordinated, in football, the decision and pattern right from the top down to the players must be in the suitability of the progress of them all, because if they win a match, the entire team will feel the pride and it can also creates more opportunities for them to arrive early on other achievements in their career, so I don't blame anyone on this regard, except that they all have to work in line.

This is going to be like a deciding game for nigeria in this chan games. loosing two games from the start of the campaign is something that is going to be demoralising but then, the only hope that they will push further on this campaign is to at least get a win from this game. the congo team will try to get every form of positives fromm the fact that we are at the bottom and the tension to at least make an impact in this gaem will also affect out players. it is going to be a very tricky one to look out for but we hope our boys can at least redeem themselves from the disgrace of going down zero point after three consecutive games. eveyone suppose fear for this game on a normal because what looks like what is going to hapen is a possibility of getting another bad result from this encounter.

It still surprises me to see that with the list of well exposed and experienced players we have in our senior team, they can not be able to do anything to further project the name and image of the Super Eagles. It is unfortunate that it now looks like it is the Falcons and Flying Eagles are the only names bringing good encomium to Nigeria. Few days ago, the flying Eagles won their match, last month, the Falcons won the trophy and lately d' Tigress also won their title. What is wrong with the Super Eagles?

Left for me I would say there's nothing to evaluate about that coach, he has to go. Winning this game will do no favour since they have never scored a goal before and has never got one point so far. Even though they're leading by 1 goal I still don't think they can hold it till the end. They missed their opportunities and are paying for it. Maybe the next batch of players to go for the championship would be more serious than what we're seeing this year. Senegal and Sudan are still at goalless and on top of the group.  Win or loose, Nigeria is out and that Coach would leave peacefully.

This is not even the coach's fault. The NFF needs to evaluate their own performance and being to ask themselves if they are living up to expectations of Nigerians. Because they are not.

They took this match very serious and perhaps they wouldn't have been on the bottom of the group if this was implored from the beginning, this was the eagle last match from the stage and it's was only one country that came out the best in the mist of Senegal, Congo and Nigeria which is Sudan, they are first, while Algeria was also the country that came out second from there group after the draw that took place between them and Niger. Meanwhile Sudan and Algeria is having an upcoming finals of the International and Sudan is possible of winning Algeria.

Even though we may want to deny it but the truth still remains that the reason every other coach is failing in the Super Eagles is because they are not given free hands to choose their squad; there is always various political interest within the ranks of the NFF that always want to interfere with players selection for the Eagles. This may be what Sunday Olise saw that made him to resign and even foreign coaches are not free from these tendencies. When players are not selected based on fair competition, you should not expect them to deliver as expected.

It would have even been better if they had lost all 3 games and bury their head in shame and disgrace than winning the third game when they obviously knew that it won't change the fact that they are out of the tournament. The most disgraceful defeat they faced was in their last match against Sudan; they really broke the heart of Nigerians.

I agree with you. Politics has eaten up every sector in the country. They are no longer after the best candidate that can deliver the job. How do you expect the growth of the National team. The only place where this is not happening is in the female football, because the management doesn't have females who are footballers and you don't collect money from females, rather you give them money.

It is a shame though because they were better off getting out of this group with a better point but they blew it all up to finish in this position. This shows the level of poor talents the home super eagles are breeding, they can’t do well with this players when used for international tournaments, I just hope a change is made for them. Sadly, no $100,000 for them and a flat in Abuja like the super falcons. As if they won, they would get one like them, I am sure they won’t get as much even if they win the trophy.

If there are other good players and they chose to use this set of players, then it is a big shame to them for not being able to execute well the opportunity given to them to represent the country. It is also something of shame for the coach not to go for the best players that would have done better due to reasons known to him. We all know how this selections are made, they’re not really based on merit but based on connection. I just hope a new leaf will come when all this kind of practices will end for the success of the Super Eagles in the future.

I really doubt about that choosing you said. If a coach is been sign to the national team, there are assistants that are Nigerians that are there for years and knows better to put the new coach through but the coach is going to make his decisions if he likes. I believe he must have gone through history of recent sqaud past games to make his own decisions. Who cares about selection if a particular team is ready to bring the trophy for the country, just win that's what matter.

The only thing is that Nigeria system is so corrupt, this is why many international players don't want to play for us, this isn't about Nigerians alone. It's something we do as Africa and it's very bad. If you go to some of our premier league players, the amount of over qualified players stars that can win matches are very much but nepotism, tribalism has failed us and blind is to do what's right, everybody want to be there when they don't have what they can use to be there at the top.

It is a great victory to Nigeria for dominating the match to a victorious winner although the match seems to be very tough one in the first half of the game before Yusuf A. score the first goal of the match in favor of Nigeria and at 90+3 Sikiru A. score the winning which gave Nigeria over Congo which they played their best to win Nigeria but they hold the second half of the game to a draw as they did in the first half of the game.

The Super Eagles has always been like this. There is never a time when they did perform to impress Nigerians not even goals or match that is worth celebrating about them.  Always poor outing and funds are being spent on them without anything to show for.

I miss the era of Jay Okocha, Obafemi Martins, Wilson Oruma, Agahowa, Sunday Oliseh, Peter Rufai and the list too numerous to mention. These were the days when Nigeria had a good and formidable Super Eagles even if they do not qualify for their matches, they really play good football that entertained the people not what the current squad is playing. These were the Glory days of the Super Eagles.
