What an impressive second goal by Osimen and it was quite a huge surprise to me, how could I have imagine that Osimen would bring two straight goals for the Nigerian team. I hail the super eagles for this amazing improvement, I love this pattern that is used and I think the Nigerian government could have talk to the coach and the team to improve or work on their performances this time before it's too late. Hoping to see another goal soon.

The Super Eagles performance today is pretty good, scoring in the 3rd minutes is an incredible efforts because had it been they were playing like this before by now Super Eagles would have been in the first position. However, with the look of things right now I'm pretty sure that Super Eagles would definitely score more goals even though it's still first half so we should expect more goals in the second half.

This Ivory Coast and Gabon group is so dope that even 23 and 22 points hasn't yet guaranteed you an automatic ticket in the upcoming world cup. The group is so competitive amongst these two teams that non of them has qualified yet. Seychelles just came to distribute points to other teams there because so far after 9 matches, they have accumulated zero points and conceded 44 goals in 9 games, which means they are averaging 4.8 goals negative in every match.

As the reigning African champions, I totally understand why Ivory Coast have been able to take 23 points after 9 games but for Garbon, how did they actually managed to garner such intimidating number of points? I've not been following what's happening in other groups —not because I'm not interested but because I'm concentrating in the Super Eagles of Nigeria group where they're struggling to qualify.
That said, I think Garbon is supposed to reach the next edition of the FIFA World Cup for their efforts, if not as group winners, then through the playoffs.

I was also surprised to see that Gabon finished second in group F in the Africa World Cup qualifiers, because I don't know Gabon as a football nation, and I didn't see them as a team that could finish second when they were drawn in group F. It was an excellent performance from Nigeria in the second half because the dominated the game and took full control of the midfield. Of course, they did better than what they played against Lesotho in their last match. I have the confidence and hope that Nigeria will score mors goals in the second half to get their ticket to the world cup next year. This match is becoming sweet and I can hear the echo of the Nigerian supporters team hailing the team for the great turnout after so many people had lost hope that the Nigerian super eagles might not qualify for this tournament. Great goal, great team, great coach and great country. This is one of my favorite match so far and I hope to see spectacular improvement from the eagles. Probably they are going to take Nigeria to a very great height that will make other countries to be marvelled about the skills imbedded in the super eagles.

Yes you are correct, they fight harder because I believe in is not over until is over, securing 2goals in the first half shows that they ready to win but what I won't like is amlwing their opponent to score, what the need to do in the second half of this match is to play without fear so that they won't give their opponent the impression that they can be penetrated, more goals should be scored because thats what we need, with what i have seen so far, I think this match ought to have been seal by the Nigerian supper eagles, their opponent should not be seen as a weaker team, just as I said, it is not ever until is over, no chances should be entertained by the super eagles at this point.

Yeah Nigeria is winning with two goals and the first half is over we are now waiting for the second half, I never expected Nigeria super eagles to be this good today they are making me so proud and happy today, I believe they have already won the match and I also believe Nigerian super eagles will score more goals in the second half, if we have been playing this way we won't have issues qualifying, victor osimhen has already scored 2 goals and his still hungry for more, victor osimhen is a very good striker and his showing that to his country today congratulations to Nigeria.

Osihmen is on fire up front. He's shown his class twice and out Nigeria up by 2 goals. The assist for the second goal by Chukwueze is a very fine one. Nigeria dominated Benin in every angle this first half. I see they are prepared to finish second if South Africa ends up defeating Rwanda who they're leading with the same margin as Nigeria. Nigeria is waking up now in good performance. I still have a problem with the Nigerian wingers, if they can be as proactive as Osihmen up front. Nigeria would have more goals in this second half.

Victor Osimhen's double has given us a two goal lead against Benin in the first half. South Africa is also leading Rwanda by two goals at half time. If South Africa wins against Rwanda and we win against Benin, we won't qualify for the World Cup, but we will be eligible to play in the playoff. As it stands now the playoff is our only hope of qualifying for the World Cup.

Well, I was wrong. I decided not to watch the match believing that Nigeria will still play lackadaisically as usual. I was surprised when I started hearing voices from outside, I decided to see the Livescore and saw that Victor Osimhen scored an early goal as assisted by Chukwueze. I was also not excited to watch, not untill after like 30 mins, I heard another shouting and I checked and Victor Osimhen has braced.

Right now, I cannot say that I am happy until someone confirms to me that second people can also qualify for the world cup. How many teams will qualify, one or two? If one, will there be any play off between seconders?

Super Eagles are having an impressive performance but the game is still on, they just finished the first half and I don't know what is going to happen in the second half and currently what we need now is to avoid concede goal and we need to score more to make things balance. Despite our leading this match is not even good to finish with 2 - 1 because if it does Benin Republic will take the lead and it will affect our qualify to the next stage. I trust my people because this is what they know how to do the most, this wasn't the first time of super Eagles to qualify for the next stage, they usually behave as I saw a post yesterday here that super Eagles likes sleeping when others are working and at the end they start working when others are sleeping.

The second half has started and our super Eagles continue with a lead with another goal making three goals now and we are still expecting more.
