This was something I have find hard to believe so many time after reading the head line of everything the media where saying about this here but the funniest part was that this is not even Nigeria where such thing could even happen at once…to the extent where he was been knifepointed this was really a lot to believe at first when I saw the post…the question is why are this social media guys just looking for something important to do with there life than to just make shit post such as this one…

I agree with your line of thought, if the house was burgled in Nigeria and the story of knifepoint was raised, I would have agreed. But I know that most house in the UK that is being burgled is being done whenever the owner of the house is not there and the issue of forcing him to release almost 500,000 pounds which is really an unfounded story for me. For such an amount, it's doesn't really get that easy to do a mobile transfer on emergency without suspicion from the Bank.

I don't really know what's going through the AFCON organizers and how they intend to take the cup back from country that is been accepted to be the actually winner of the AFCON tournament. I will support senagal to keep the cup and they should never return it since it was rewarded to them by the AFCON committee.

Such judgement will undermine the integrity of AFCON as a football body in Africa and also this is a pointers to show that those that accuses the organiser of the competition of games fixing during the event are right and know what exactly AFCON officials where doing during the live tournament.

Even the Nigeria matches we noticed some cases that look really abnormal but we eventually looked away until we were chase out of the tournament in the deinig minutes.

I really don't care which of them are correct or not because they are no longer relevant in the world of gambling, or are they going to refund those that took morocco to win?
Or they are going to take back the payout they sent out to those that took Senegal to lift the trophy?

I wouldn't be paying any significant attention to this because it's not important, and I blame caf president and his corrupt members for bringing this shame to African football. My only hope and I believe that it's the hope of fans across Africa is that court of arbitration for Sports should overturned this despicable decision taken by caf, and bring justice back to african football

The case has advanced to court, it will be a long fight after CAF stayed for about two months before declaring Morocco as the new winners, maybe this might take longer time before they rectify their decisions, i also want Senegal to keep the trophy, i doubt if the trophy will be returned, the decision by CAF isn't genuine to my understanding.

What is in it for them to benefit, in turning around results of games fans have moved on from? Afcon is long forgotten, I don't see why people are still on the matter of the past, the Senegalese president already updated his social media photo, with a picture of the Afcon Cup at his back, signifying that nobody would come and get it. The CAF leadership needs to be overhaul, I like the way the whole thing has happened like this, at least it has helped exposed the corruption in CAF, this is so that, in the next leadership election, people will look at how this leaders were selected, because this I don't care attitude by lots of football fans in Africa on how leaders are selected will have to stop. The CAF leadership has brought African football into ridicule, and this is because how some of them emerged as leaders is a process that lot of us don't know.

Thank God that the story is all roumour and has be confirmed to be a lie or jus one of those Media headlines, but the truth is that played should take extra caution when it comes to their personal security because there is this thing about players from the rest of the public as people who are rich, so there is this thing about players when ever they are seen so criminal minded people always look for ways to take money from them when the opportunity is there.


In the past we have seen how family members of players have been kidnapped like the father of Mikel Obi who was kidnapped about twice. Owobi should take extra caution to his personal security because one thing is there is this saying that in every rumor there may be elements of truth. It may be that there was an attempt by some people but failed.

Rumors can spread really fast like a pandemic, see how people were already sympathising with Iwobi and wishing that he recovers from the incident quickly,not knowing that it's a fake news, nowadays people go about spreading fake news just for clicks and engagements and it's becoming a norms which is really bad. One kidnap case of a footballers member that got me really worried apart from Mikel Obi's is Luiz Diaz it was really tough on him but he managed to put himself together and not let it weigh him down. Footballer are of high profile and should be very security cautious including extending it to their family members, no wonder some sports men do hire person security guards like the way Floyd Mayweather does.

The news didn't say that the whole amount stollen from him was gotten through his Bank. The news had it that both the cash gotten from his home and the things stolen from his home all accumulated to that amount. Even though the father might have debunked such claim, we have to also know that there's no way such a need will come to the public domain without anything that's related to that actually happening. I mean, forget the fact that Alex iwobi is a super star in the Nigerian super eagles squad, in times of insecurity as this, it's possible that anything can actually happen to anyone when you don't take your security situation seriously. That Score should be from the CAF article 82 to 84 and the score was from CAF office and not from the field. The one we know is from the Senegal 1-0 Morocco. I came to discuss about Iran and Nigeria Match today. Nigeria won the match with 2-1. M. Simon scored the first goal in 7 minutes and A. Adams scared the second goal at 51 minutes. Well that is not bad performance in the friendlies.

It can happen anywhere in the world, not just in African football. The rules are the rules, CAF is sticking to the rules.

As I have said before, the mistake CAF made was to let favoritism get the best of the referees during the AFCON. If the officiating had been fair, it wouldn't have led to the drama on the final day.

AFCON have lost its quality for only this judgment from the court because it shows that it's a manipulated judgment. Senegal should not let go of the trophy till the last judgment on the ongoing case. I think corruption has crawled its wah into sports if not, why will such a thing happen. That delay in making that horrible decision of announcing Morocco the winner of the African Cup nations significantly means the judgement was not a free and fair one, if it where to be a fair one it would have been made an open decision imminently after Senegal made the move because of that controversial decision made on the pitch by the referee. As the referees decision on that game I will say it is a complete sign of incompetency from the officiating end because if such mistakes are made, the officiating body imminently calls for correction to maintain peace and avoid chaos and even pronounce sanctions on the referee if need be instead of  making such dramatic decision of reversing a teams winning
