The inter-confederation match between Dr Congo versus Jamaica in ongoing, i wish for Dr Congo to pass through the inter-confederation stage and also qualify for the world cup so that 10 teams can represent Africa let's see how formidable their force will be. Africa has been very backward when it comes to the world cup because none of the countries has been able to win the world cup yet. If Africa presents 10 teams when Dr Congo qualifies, they must all try as much as possible to make an impact in this world cup because it will be so bad that after FIFA expanded the tournament, no African country could reach semifinals or the final stage.

It looks like you are not up to date with reality because Morocco got to the Semi finals of the last world cup, which was the first time in the history of African football.

Though most fans across Africa wasn't happy for them, after they made an ultrance that their exploit in the FIFA world cup in 2022 is dedicated to the Arab world. I think that it's the same sentiment most football fans across Africa still have towards the Moroccan national team.
But as for me, I am a Nigerian, and a proud African, I will always support our African brothers even though my country fails to qualify, but it will be a thing of joy if any of the African team can make it to the final this time around, and that team I believe so much in is the Senegalese team, they are truly the African champions.

If things changed, likely one of them will be at the semi finals but if it doesn't, on or before the knockout there will not be any African countries in the world Cup standing because from how the AFCON of this year played was not how the AFCON before the last world cup turnout because on that one Super eagles didn't perform more than Tunisia or even Morocco because those countries were inclined with high performance but now only Senegal was in this performance so actually a lot of African countries most attain a high performance before getting to semi finals, so if they can't be classified as one of this fierce countries how would they get to the final point

I'm in no way underestimating these three nations but they're not qualifying for the next round.

Group I ( France and Norway ),  Group C ( Brazil and Scotland ), and lastly, Group H ( Spain and Uruguay). These are the first two nations most likely to qualify from their groups. From the minister of sport's down to the president in charge of sport's, they need to be arrested.

Correct, I know how much I supported them in the last world cup and I think their success at the last world cup to reach the semifinals had a lot to do with the support they got.

In my opinion, Nigeria started well by opening the scoring. Jordan is also improving, especially on set pieces. Even though it's a friendly, it's great to watch these international matches. Let's see how the second half goes. Come on, Super Eagles!

The match finally ended 2:2, Nigeria was in a better position to win this match. They had all it takes to win this match very well, but they messed it up. They were leading already why not prevent them from scoring, Nigeria are never serious in winning matches they usually blew up opportunities, and this is a really affecting them in every match they play they don’t have this winning mentality in them. This was the reason why we did not qualify for the World Cup a nation that has the level of players like Nigeria have should not be drawing a match with Jordan, I really don’t understand what is happening in the Nigerian defense and the team in general. I’m not so happy because I predicted Nigeria to win in the match

Jordan national football team played last match against Nigeria national football team and that was two sided match because both teams did great effort in this match and there was a strong competition between these two teams.  The players combination was perfect in this match as players of both teams were of same standard and both teams effort was great in this match. The shots of both teams looked impressive and both teams tried to give hundred percent in this match . The possession percentage of any team shows that how much stronger is that team and we saw comparison of possession percentage between these two teams. No team tried to attack in this match and that was the reason no team could win this match.

Correct, I know how much I supported them in the last world cup and I think their success at the last world cup to reach the semifinals had a lot to do with the support they got.

What happens next when Senegal, Morocco, and Cape Verde make it to the second round of the World Cup matches? They gets kick out right? That ends the whole participation of the African team in the World Cup. Then we wait for another four years for all the African countries to challenge themselves for World Cup qualification matches, only for many to be kicked out in the group stage, and the remaining to advance to the second round, that end the journey for them.

My question to all these, how long are we going to stay as a team below in the World Cup? Can't one of the African countries advance to quarter, semi-finals in every World Cup match before we think of lifting the World Cup trophy?

For the record, Africa started participating in World Cup matches around 1934, Egypt was the first to represent us then. Ever since then, I don't think Africans have made a good history to be remembered for, in the World Cup.

Watching the Super Eagles is really disturbing to the eyes, I prefer to watch the Super Eagles of the AFCON than watching this friendly games they played. Against Iran nothing changed compared to what I saw against Jordan today and sometimes I tell myself that we deserve not to be in the World Cup but at the same time these guys that did good will have to wait and struggle again to book a spot whenever the time comes, which we don't know if it will be in our favor for next World Cup qualifications, this is the best squad that are good for this Upcoming World Cup and since we failed them it becomes a difficult path for next time.

I thought is only me this friendly match is not that interesting to me and the funny part is that if you look their performances in this friendly matches is more powerful than the one they displayed in the World Cup. Because if to say this pattern their using current now in this friendly match is the one they use when there was playing the World Cup I’m sure they could’ve qualify.

But at times I don’t know what is really wrong with the Super Eagles, when everyone are proud of them they will later fuck and disappointed the fans the same thing they did this season in the World Cup.

Of course the actions of Morocco in the tournament especially in the final game against Senegal was really not guided with the Spirit of fair play or sportsmanship that football is associated with, they went below the belt as a host nation and that sent a lot of negative energy to viewers across the world. If you're looking for an African country to support in the World Cup, I think you should support the Bafana Bafana, the South African team is one team in the African football competition that have shown strength in their resolve. Even on the group stage where they were with Nigeria they were top of the group even after their 3 points were deducted from them, they still ended up being at the top of the group and qualifying for the world cup.

Africa has it but foreign countries has it more, all there players usually don't start the same way some of our players does, from small they're already on the academy learning and that's something that's easy for parents there to send there children whom they see to start having talent in soccer but in Africa we don't have good football academy and we are not even many compare the way some countries are in all the various leagues and the way they love football is not the same way Africans likes football so I could predict more 20 years time and we wouldn't see any Africa country to win the world Cup because the way Africa take football is as if is not meant for us.

Mere saying it will not take us to the finals. Countries that reach such height are countries that have devoted a lot into football, and for me the only African country that has reached such height is Morocco. They've been exceptional in their football investment in last 10 years. So if African countries must compete, then they must have prepared much better before now, the time space for every World Cup is usually 4 years, that's enough time to build a solid squad.

Prayer we do its own aspect, but moreso, the players have to put in their best effort and contribute well to ensure that they go far in achieving this, because no matter the level of prayer been made, if their effort does not commensurate with what we expect from them to perform, things might not change, except they give in their quality and best performance in achieving their desired expectations, we know football to be a game of competence and not by luck.

The only time I had enjoyed watching the super Eagles of Nigeria 🇳🇬  were in the 90s and early 2000 during the time of Jajay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Sunday Olisa , Finidi George and Teribo west Era, and that was when you see the players play with patriotic,  But these set of players are not putting enough work ,well I blame because of they the other past players were not taking much care of which lead to some of even hanging boot earlier than they should. I lost interest in watching these set of players, the other time I picked up interest was in the time of Keshi.

I don't know about others for me, the Super Eagles have not played good football after 1996. The 1993-4 team that won the African Cup of Nations and played quality football in the USA '94 World Cup. They beat Bulgaria, Greece and lost painfully to Italy in the second round. The Atlanta 96 Squad made up of some senior players, took the World by storm in the Olympic Games.

The coaches who achieved these feats were not world-class. But Clemens Westerhof and Jo Bonfrère were lucky to be surrounded by players who were desperate for glory. The current crop of Nigerian players don't have that drive.      

I was not around in the year of 1996 but I believed the Super Eagles did well in the year 2013 which they won the AFCON Champion but after that period, they play games that have nothing to discuss about again. I started watching Nigeria team football (Super Eagles) from the year 2005 which they played with Tunisia and which Super Eagles did well. here.
Super Eagles players now is for "guys" and not to foe the country. From what we have seen yesterday match, super has nothing to offer and it is better we leave the tournament in the group stage.

Today super eagle matches most time seem not encouraging, as some of their performance underscore what it was known for in the past when life of people like KANU, Jaja okacha more to mention but a few, the reason is the nature of how will defend our nation then how everyone provided your citizens value it nation even when they are not impacted by the government stand to defend the integrity of the nation, people where ready to die , putting all their best to ensure the nation make good name but today it's not same because if your fighting for your nation and your nit recognize neither will you be rewarded at the course of fighting such zeal will die off. Secondly where the least is taken to be the best even when thousand better than such is their but have no body to speak for as nepotism takes over the system, this is reason but our coaches and the players are under performing the nation is not rewarding them accordingly like before several instance has emerge where most players sponsor for themselves to go for competition and salary delayed a lot, it's not actually their fort but lack of better logistics in football by the government.
