However, the African teams in the WC have shown that it wont gonna be easy for European nations to defeat them easily. Ivory Coast defeated France with 2 goals to 1. Desire Doué's elder brother scored the equalizing goal for Ivory Coast. Two brothers from the same parents but different nationalities. Ryan Cherki had a brilliant performance overall. A few African countries will be playing, and i give them my support, i hope they go far in the tournament.

Some African countries are already putting up some good performance in the international friends leading up to the World Cup and a good example of one of these countries is Ivory Coast who were able to defeat one of the favorites of the World Cup because of how talented their team is talking about France in a friendly game. I understand that it is a friendly game and maybe the French team decided not to play their best again but we should not underrate and take away anything from the performance of the ivory coast team. These kind of wins will add to their confidence.

Yeah, so African teams have been able to put up some quality games this night, I saw the game between Ivory Coast vs France, it showed  that African have a contending team that could stand toe toe with France. It might look as though the game was just a friendly game but it is from buildups like this that you would know opponents that are ready to confront any team in the World cup, and Ivory Coast have showed that they can take on any team by surprise, because a 2-1 victory against a country like France doesn't come cheap, it shows that you are made of matria stronger than leather.

A lot of people are not really happy because Nigeria didn't make it to the world cup but it is necessary for us to support other African countries and follow them up because they are our representatives in the world cup. I got my eyes on Ryan Cherki the City boy, Amad Diallo the magic man was superb in his winning goal and to Desire Doué's family, they are blessed with good talents.

Do not take friendlies as serious games especially before the real competition. In the World Cup teams like France transform literally to something else. Ivory Coast, have have always been one of Africa's best football countries, they have a record of producing strong African players from the time of Didier Drogba, till date and I believe that they will go far in the world cup. Defeating France, is a great motivation for them that they have what it takes to make impact in the world cup and the rest of Africa, is behind them to shine and make us proud. Qualifying for the world cup is not a small thing so we don't have to underate any teams that made it to the finals, I wish all the teams the best especially African teams that they will shine and bring glory to Africa.

I love football and i would have watch the world cup friendly game that France and Ivory Coast played yesterday if i had known of the game regardless it was just world cup friendly game. African teams in the world cup are playing better in the world cup friendlies than the way they performed in the last friendly games but i will not say they are showing that it will not be easy for European nations to defeat them easily because it is just world cup friendlies in which European nations will supposedly appear weak if African teams shown their current performance in the world cup i will agree they do not want to be easy for European nations to defeat them easily.

France always loose more to African countries in friendly than the one they won, even Tunisia has won France some time ago on the friendly and Ivory Coast has now beaten France in the means of Mbappe, Gusto, Olise, Hernandez and Dembele even if Didier Deschamps did not have him in mind as the performing player in the match but those that was in the match were the France first squad on the world cup, I was surprised about France and that shouldn't be what they came to world cup to do because Spain is better than this form. Nigeria friendly with Poland was also an encouraging form for Nigeria as they were not beaten by Poland.

Ivory coast did very well, I never expected them to win France I was thinking France was going to win the match with a lot of goals, are we going to say France was not actually serious in the match but they needed to reserve their strength for the world cup this may be true because there is no gain in the match that was played is just a friendly match and very soon the world cup is going to start so they need to preserve their strength for the world cup because that is where the main goal is however, I cannot dispute the fact that Ivory Coast did very well they performed in a way they were supposed to perform and if they should continue with this kind of form they will go far in the world cup.

Ivory Coast really had a good performance in that game and I believe that it would not be any different in the world cup. France has a really good squad depth that could even stand as the first team, the substitutions made were good players but just couldn't keep up with the tempo of the game and that changed the scoreline in a bit of minutes.

For me, I would say Ivory Coast could be the strongest African team alongside Morocco and Senegal and it would be really delightful to see them perform in the World Cup.

Cm'n mate! Cheer up. The season is over. But we can't deny the fact that his records for last season still remains intact and history will remind him when he gets old. Yes, that's right, France is a strong team in football and I think that they are a completely balanced team in this World Cup but against this team, Ivory Coast won 2-1 despite trailing in the first half, therefore it proves that this African team has become a very mature team in this World Cup. The team's confidence has been boosted by winning the friendly match between France and Ivory Coast, i think that this African country will go into their first match against Ecuador in the upcoming FIFA World Cup as favorites, and their morale will be very high in that match because they recently defeated a team like France in a friendly match.

France scored first but could not longer keep up with Ivory Coast and I was surprised that Ivory Coast won and this are signs already that the world cup will be interesting because we should know that if might be called a friendly game but see how hard they went and now the European teams will have to prepare better because to much heat already so then if games are already going like this then what should we expect when it comes to the world cup it is even going to more interesting this time around and I know we have to expect something different, because seems like Africans might be the ones to win.

Doué scores the first goal and also gave an assist for the second goal  so to me, is the man of the match, just waiting for the real game to start which is the world cup since all the English leagues have ended already, the only thing left to entertain us will be the world cup and the transfer window is going to be active because of how some players will catch the attention of people.

This is laughable, just because Ivory Coast won France in an international friendly match does not mean that if both teams meet in a real tournament that Ivory Coast will be able to defeat France. I think that France players were just being careful so that they don't get injured before the official start of the world Cup matches, which is why they slowed down their gameplay after they won at halftime. Don't get me wrong, it's not as if the African teams won't put up a strong fight in the world Cup but let's not begin to judge their possible performance in the world Cup just because of a pre world Cup international friendly match. Ivory Coast is a strong team as we know, of course they are likely to do well at the world Cup tournament.

It happened like that because it was a friendly match if not, I don't think that Ivory Coast will be able to win France. I don't use the results from a friendly game to judge the performance of a team in the world cup because it's a different ball game entirely.

You shouldn't pick offense in what Agbamoni said about Amad Diallo scoring only two goals for Manchester United this season because even as Amad Diallo scored two goals for Manchester United he was still selected by his national team head coach to cap for his country in the World Cup which shows how important he is for his country.
