Germany is not an easy fit for majority of the African team and others as well. They play good football and strong formation that you can not comprehend at the beginning. So far the beginning of this tournament, they have been in good form and have won all the matches they have played which means a next round qualifier for them.

They have won the World Cup four times and their consistency, discipline and mental toughness in major tournaments are their biggest strengths. So beating Germany is never an easy task. But it is not impossible either. African teams are no longer considered weak. Many African teams have improved a lot in their tactics, fitness and player development in the last decade. As a result, Morocco and Brazil drew 1–1 in the World Cup this time. Later, Morocco defeated Scotland 1–0. So it is clear that African teams are dangerous for any team, be it Germany or any other team. The team that is ahead in terms of performance on the field will win.

Why should we do that? I don’t understand this idea that African countries have to support each other in the World Cup. This doesn’t happen anywhere in the world, I don’t see the European or Asian teams supporting each other.  If Spain wins the World Cup, they won it for themselves not the continent. The same with Morocco, if they win the World Cup, the record will show that Morocco not Africa won the World Cup.

It happens in all the world Cup but it just that you haven't notice it, although from beginning each of the countries that's in the world Cup will only be supporting there country but when there country could not qualify, they will go for another country that's of the same continent with them and support them to win the trophy. Europeans use to support themselves and even if they're not from the same country but there name as the continent that win the cup will still be mentioned so actually it mustn't be our country with the trophy before we can truly be happy about it but however another country from your continent is also part of you. But perhaps is also your choice if you cannot support in that regards.

Cape Verde scored in the 21st minute and it seemed they could at least win the first half or, in the worst-case scenario, draw. But to my shock, Cape Verde conceded an equalizer in the 44th minute and a few minutes later conceded a second goal, ending the first half in defeat. It was truly shocking. I don't know what to expect from them in the second half; it seems they could concede even more goals, and the defeat could be humiliating. If they lose this game, I highly doubt they'll advance to the next phase.

I was also expecting Cape Verde Town to win Uruguay in the first half after they took the lead in the first 21 minutes of the match, but I was surprised how Cape Verde Town allowed Uruguay to score two goals under seven minutes to win the first half 2-1. I lost hope that Cape Verde Town would bring the match to level terms in the second half, because I thought Uruguay would score more goals in the second half, however, Cape Verde Town didn't relent they put up a good fight against Uruguay and got an equalizer in the 61st minute, they would have won the match if the referee had blown one out of the two penalties they got in the dying minutes of the match.

Cape Verde did it again and earned a point for themselves. Kevin Lenini scored the first goal of the game for Cape Verde in the 21st minute But Uruguay didn't let it go and scored an equalizer in the 44th minute scored by Araujo in the added minutes of the first half Uruguay's player Canobbio scored the 2nd goal in the 45+6th minute. In the second half Varela scored an equalizer in the 61st minute and earned a point for their nation. Overall Uruguay kept 65% possession covered 101 km in distance , 2.32xG, 2 big chances created and 17 total shots. Cape Verde with 35% possession covered 97km distance 1 big chance created and 12 total shots. Uruguay's player Araujo was named as player of the match.

The ivorian side cannot be blamed for not sealing up the game in a victory,  they had a far more superior team against them and so we cannot expect  that they will find it easy at any point,  they even did their best to have held the game to that point,  they wouldn't have seen opportunity to possibly get a goal in that game. They now stand at the second position on the ground with three points,  so far, it is clear that Germany and Ivory caost are the ones who would likely make it past the group stage, as the other two may likely not.

Seeing an African team make lot more progress beyond  the group stage is my expectations and anticipation for this competition.  I really do wish to be them make it far beyond  the group stage as I am supporting every African team in the world cup this year.

It depends from countries and continents. If New Zealand advanced to the final games, then Australians will congratulate them. Of course there are exceptions and jealousy in every place, yet they will be happy for them. I suppose same goes for baltic countries, some countries in Central Asia regardless of the political opinions. People there will support their neighbors.
In Africa the situation is more complex because the continent is so undervalued that any team achieving something is doing it for the whole continent.
It is like "no African nation reached the semi-finis of the World Cup", the response will be "Morocco already did it".

Although i don't expect anything special from Tunisia in this world cup, but honestly i have big expectations for Senegal. Because i thought that they would do much better in their group but unfortunately even one point they haven't secured, which i feel disappointed about their performance. Norway only good in attack and poor in defense and Senegal are strong in these two positions but they didn't capitalise on that, and now no more chance for them to qualify to the next round. France and Norway have won two matches, so automatically they have qualified to the round of 32. But Morocco is in the race to make Africans proud just as they did in the last world cup.

The perfect time for Africa country to win the world cup was 2010 when the tournament was hosted by West Africa but it did not happen and I don't expect it to happen any time soon. If our unanimous support will make it possible for Africa country to win, I will rather suggest we support Ivory Coast to win instead of Morroco.

Morroco is good actually but they see themselves less Africa and prefer to be identified as non African. I don't think they'll need our support even if we choose to. So it's better to support fellow African country that'll appreciate our support.

Unfortunately, our support does not even make any difference. I wish all African countries participating good luck by the way.

I swear to God I have been disappointed with the run Senegal has in this World cup. Normally I know that they will surely lose to France but losing to Norway is what I am still surprised about. They could have even snatched a draw if they knew that they can't win them. Even if they later beat Iraq am not sure they will be able to qualify to the round of 32 with 3 points. I think it's Morocco and Cape Verde that has done well in world cup, especially that Cape Verde who has a wick squad drawn to tough group toke one point each from Spain and Uruguay. Now they just need to beat Saudi Arabia to guarantee their qualifications to the round of 32.

It's unfortunate that Senegal that looks really promising going into the world cup is yet to get a point and as things stands, the odds of them exiting the world cup is not looking like the most likely thing to happen at the end of Thier last game. True we still have teams that have gotten three point like Ghana who will still face England today but if things goes wrong for them, it point to the fact that we've got a long way to go as far as going far in every world cup is concerned.

Football is not about technology or science that we will assume that we are disadvantaged in those areas compared to other continent but seeing us doing really bad in a fair sports like football is not appealing at all. At this point, we can only root for ivory coast and Ghana and hope that either of them gets to qualify into the next round.

I think, they tried in their best possible position to score against Norway, but failed to defend their goalpost against the striking power of Haaland who scored two goals with that of Pedersen.

I know the group stage knockout of Senegal is a loss to Africa in this World Cup because Senegal is among the African countries we look forward to, making Africa proud in this World Cup
