I'm not that happy with the way Senegal are performing because other European nation see them as a well performing team, but honestly they have not bring that out to prove that they are the Champion of Africa. Norway really deserve those victories because the way they are performing is absolutely very interesting, we all know Erling Haaland and how he used to score goals, I am not surprising him performing brilliantly because I expected it from him.

Senegal have been very poor in this tournament and the chunk of that blame should be on the manager, yes there was an excuse of the team not actually been paid their bonuses which is causing them problems internally but I don’t think this differences is actually what the major problem is. The manager has actually made lots of mistake from the team selection against France to the way the team plays against Norway. They were players that at this stage or period they shouldn’t be starting not because of age but because of their form.

The most striking example is that of Sadio Mane who shouldn’t be starting ahead of the likes of Ndiaye of Everton or Koulibali starting with his fitness concerns. For now they are out and should go home and rebuild. Sadly i actually expected them to be one of those sides that would actually be dark horse or surprise package in the competition but they wanted more early

I agree they were so unlucky but if they had been switched with a team like Congo to play Portugal, do you think they would have given Portugal a hard time just as the Congolese team did?

Our AFCON champions could not defend us in the World Cup, i feel really bad for them. France is the only country i think Senegal should be fearful of, that doesn't mean they couldn't take France to a draw, this is football and both the best and worse can happen. Norway is a country i also expected Senegal to push ahead of, now we all confirm that Senegal is out of the World Cup.

I felt bad for Senegal. They've been playing quality football in this World Cup, they were only unlucky to meet big teams with players that are very capable of deciding games on their own. They'll leave the tournament as one of the teams who performed well but still got eliminated. They would've easily made it to the next stage if they were in more favourable group.

Senegal as African Champions have not represented us very well though they were tied with tough opponents but they didn’t manage their games well and it has cost them, sometimes you have to change tactics in some games and hold the line of your defence.

Most African countries supported Senegal in the World Cup, but they are not playing well, they are among the African countries which I predicted to far in the World Cup, but they won’t even be passing the group stage. They lost against France in their first match, and they lost against Norway today again, their next match will be against Iraq which I don’t know if they will be able to win that match, but even if they are able to win Iraq, they going nowhere. I feel so bad that Senegal isn’t performing so well in the World Cup.

Ghana is making things difficult for the English team and I can say that they've done real good in the just concluded first half of the game. Ghana came into the game with a 5-4-1 formation, fully in a defensive spirit with a plan for a counter as a main goal hope. I guess they came for a draw tonight. England is seriously pushing and have made a total of 6 shots already but none on the target. The Ghana wall is so strong and not ready to allow Kane and his Arsenals to break into the 18 yard box.

What a big surprise to me if they tell me that Ghana is going to make things difficult for England I will not believe, but look at their performances in the both first half and second their performances is very impressive. Ghana are give the England a so much attacking threat and that’s even their chances of scoring goals is missing, England have dominated the entire game statistics look at the Ghana with the zero shots and shots on target also; but that their still give the England a tough time which in my own view this game is going to end up in a draw game because the game is almost finish.

With this second loss to Norway and the goal deficit against the Senegalese side it's obvious that the Senegalese side are through with the World Cup and do not have any hopes of qualifying for the next rounds, I didn't believe that Senegal would perform the low in the World Cup  but it happened and all attention would  now be focused on the likes of Cabo Verde, Morocco, Ghana, Egypt and  the rest of the African teams who still have a chance to qualify.

If you ask me, I will say i am so disappointed at the outcome from them and this is due to the level of confidence I had in their ability right before the tournament even started. I personally had expected to see them as one of the strongest representatives of Africa especially given their recent success and plus they are just one team I also admire among the African football squads . I see them as warriors who are ready for this World Cup but with this level of defeat on them, it is quite obvious they will soon be out of contention and like you rightly mentioned our focus will be shifted towards other African teams such as the Morocco, Cape Verde, Ghana who are currently holding England to their jugular with over 80 minutes played with no single goals from both ends and other African team left which is Egypt

Morocco position now in the world cup is more secure than that of the Senegal team, anything can happen even most of the country that are not football Nation show high level of strength to shock fans.

The first-half performance of England was very poor, and the game does look like if Ghana will be able to get just one goal, like they will be able to win the game.

I would like the Ghanaians to take a bolder approach in this game and not sit back and invite press but take the game to the English side and force them to make unexpected errors because I'm not sure that England came into this game with expectations that Ghana was going to give them this much of a challenge.

Ghana will have defeat or draw against Croatia to qualify to the next phase. However Ghana has surprised everyone because what we were expecting to see as the outcome was not what we saw. There was nothing special about England if you ask me, still with the over hyped players but can't make oppositions feel the heat, it wasn't an easy game for Ghana but they only have one game plan, go out there and frustrate the 3 Lions by getting a draw and if it happens that you'd score then is ok so it worked out well for Ghana. England is mot really the team that are good at beating an opposition defense without much work and with this same performance it will be hard to survive the next round, it will be difficult for them unless they change the way they approach their next game.

Thomas Partey playing well last night against England and become the third players who have higher rating values after goals keeper Benjamin Asare and central back Jerome Opoku, Ghana midfielder area most solid and difficult for England team make creativities although have ball possession dominance and Benjamin Asare during 90 minutes make many crucial saves.

It is either you agree or disagree with me completely that's it. If you watch the 3 Lions play for almost every competition you'd notice that they are just good in having players I mean good players but non have that creativity of giving that killer passes to break such defense and Ghana did well no doubt and I won't take that from them, they did good but Germany national team are very good in that aspect in breaking the best defense just like they did against Ivory Coast. The difference between Ivory Coast and Ghana is that Ivory Coast played an attacking game, facing their opponent without sitting back and defend till the end but for Ghana they played a defensive game throughout so they knew how to play England last night.
This is the kind of style we need from Africa countries to show too much strength and defend till the end just to advance into the next round but we only have few Africa countries that can do that and Ghana have shown that kind of fighting spirit but they still need to take chances, football mustn't be all about defending because if a team gets a goal against them and they can't score back, that is the end so they need to add something special if they planned on winning the round of 32.

The game ended in a draw and I personally think that was still a good performance from Ghana, they managed to hold England to a draw and that very impressive, goes to show that Africa is really blessed with good football talents but our major problem is corruption.

I feel very happy for the that match ended and I would have been happier if Ghana beat England and won the match, but I am still satisfied with the goalless draw because before match began, I was in argument with a friend who claimed that England will beat ghana with nothing less than 5 goals to zero goals from Ghana, I don't know what he has with Ghana but deep in my mind, I prayed for that not to happen, irrespective of our differences in Africa, I still support african countries to win whenever any of them is playing except one country that I won't mention the name.

I know Senegal are not doing quite alright but I have look at their games and I don't think they would have done better than this looking at their depth squad, maybe they would have stand a chance against Saudi Arabia since they draw and they had plenty of chances but I don't think they would have been able to do anything different playing Norway. They even try with 2 goals, there is no way they would have gotten 2 goals when Haaland is there with them.

We didn't give accolades to Ghana enough like they didn't exist but they might have a better chance of moving forward as African team than other teams. Even Morocco is not any way different from them right now, they need their next match to be able to qualify for the next stage, but I'm happy that South Africa are doing what they know best, there is no way they are coming out of this by the end of third round, they will come home for sure.

I am still saying that, I don't think they are in good faith of playing this tournament because from flash news I am hearing all is not well with them. And they just want to play the match and go home. They are not on their fit. Senegal I know wouldn't play this matches like this, everyone thought they would do well in the second leg but the same thing repeat itself. Senegal has another match by 2:00:00 in the morning this night with South Korea. I don't think this game will favor them too.

Very good out play, I'm still surprised that Ghana will hold England till the end of the match without England finding their way to their net, I'm  very sure that England will even be in shock right now, personally I never believed my eyes in that match, this world is something else, the more to try to understand what is happening, the more confused you get, anyone thinking that if Ghana had meet those teams you mentioned it would have bern different is not right because England is not a small side, Germany has been very up and doing in this world cup but I do not think they would have done anything different from what we saw yesterday athough each team with their pattern of football, however, Ghana did whet they have to do so kudos to them.

I think Sexylizzy2813 is right by saying that if it was Germany or France that Ghana would have not been able to stop them from scoring. If you watch how fierce both France and Germany team are you will understand. They have both played against strong African teams who have better squad than Ghana but defeated them. Germany came from behind and won Ivory Coast while France defeated Senegal, so you can see that both Ivory Coast and Senegal couldn't withstand the pressure from both European teams, how much more would have Ghana stood against any of them.

Of course, any team that is too defensive can only end in a draw because they will hardly win a match since they are not attacking their opponent but instead protecting their defense. Ghana knew that if they come out to play that England may use a counterattack to win them so i don't blame Ghana for being defensive since they already had 3 points from their previous match against Panama. Ghana's next opponent is Croatia, if they can manage to get another draw in that match then they will advance to the round of 32.

After that masterclass of a performance from Thomas Partey in Ghana's 1:1 draw against England yesterday, someone who watched the game with me told me that England players knew he'll be menace for them even before the game, that was why they petitioned FIFA not to allow him play and I couldn't agree more.
Dude controlled the midfield like he owns it despite facing known professionals like Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham and Anderson. I think Ghana were able to get that all important point because they played more of physical football, a style that was strange to England's pattern of football.

Ghana draw the match against England and it was a big surprise to everyone no one believed the match will actually end in draw.
I saw a post this morning that one traditional worshiper in Ghana said Harry Kane will not score any goal that he will do something to prevent him from scoring and according to the report, he said this before the match started, as for me I don’t believe he actually did anything or it was because of what he did that made Harry Kane not to score if he is actually that powerful spiritually then he should make Ghana to lift the World Cup this year if he cannot do that then his just a big lair trying to use this World Cup to trend.
Congratulations to Ghana they now have more hope of qualifying from the group stage, they should continue putting in their best.
