Dr Congo will not have the effontry in facing England, this is not because they have not been performing well before now but they still don't have the Great capacity of winning against England if to talk of fact here, I think this is getting more better as we see more countries being eliminated furthermore to see those that will qualify for the final and later discover who is taking the cup on for this year 2026 FIFA world cup.

I can see from any discussions that some are already feeling naive that more of African countries are getting better stand in the FIFA world cup as regards their performance while some of the European countries have already been knocked out in their numbers

The World Cup this year is different from the previous years which we have been experiencing, African countries are performing better in this World Cup, they are giving European countries difficult time in matches. Some African countries have been eliminated already in the round of 32 but those matches were not just easy for their opponents. Mostly we do see African countries being eliminated in the group stage, but this year 9 African countries qualified for the round of 32 which is a sign of improvement.

What is happening in the world cup this year shows that there is improvement in the African football, the teams that made it out of the group stage has been trying their best but we still need to encourage them to put more effort in their performance so that more African teams will not be eliminated in the world cup because most of the teams that was eliminated tried but their second half performance has been very poor. We do not want to see the African teams not making it to the finals we have got all the quality players but the coaches need to work on their game play in the second half.

I am completely disappointed with Dr congo's performance today,  before now all believed and trusted they will make Africa proud in the ongoing fifa world cup but why they where unable to withstand England's pressure is what I can't tell when they are very good in preventing goals from crossing the net. After watching England's determination from the first half is was so disappointed at DR Congo's lack of coordination and unrealistic behaviour that made the lost focus on the game.

I believe in fighting till the end and getting a positive result but when you see Senegal last night you'd see that they fought very well but they forget to fight till the end, they handed their chance to Belgium and now we are here complaining in anger. Senegal had everything in their control but staying comfortable when the battle is not yet over is the mistake they made and it has cost them,. Imagine how they made Belgium play like they haven't played in the world cup before, they were all clueless in that encounter and it should have stayed that way but the defenders were all flat footed when Lukaku got the ball and scored. Honestly this game is the only game I would not like to watch the replay.

Woah.. don't say this brother. From what I've seen so far, Congo played well and even went toe-to-toe with England; for the fact that you're saying this is really disappointing. Congo have been trying in the world cup, England is a more better team than Congo; the FIFA rating is there, England is 4th in the FIFA rating whereas Congo is 41st, so I won't just discredit them completely.

Honestly brother, I'm super disappointed in them. With a 2 goal advantage, they went on to losing the game, it was really disheartening and disappointing. They were playing so well from the first half even to around 20 minutes in the second half. I feel those changes from both teams really changed the dynamics of the game.

The problem of these African national teams is their inferiority mentality. Alot of always get sacred when they are facing big European teams, When senegal scored 2 nil up their level of performance dropped. How did they allow Belgium to equalize them in the span of 3 minutes interval, what were the players even thinking. They have a good squad that can go toe to toe with Belgium yet it looks like they are playing with Fear after taking the lead. Tbh I was really impressed with Dr congo,I knew England will surely score them but DRC played their absolute best without fear, what ruined them is lack of good squad depth. If not they would have beaten England yesterday. You are right it's only Morocco that have the mindset of a big team, they don't fear anyone, they are ready fight for the ball. They are the only making we Africans proud.

After extra time, Senegal which is the second strongest after Morocco was won by Belgium yesterday. Democratic Republic of Congo was also won by England yesterday.

The funny thing is that Senegal first scored 2 goals thinking they have won but Belgium first their fcored at 86th minutes and later won the match. Also DR Congo first scored but lost the match.

More African countries are losing. Even Morocco was able to move to round of 16 because of penalty shootouts AET.

After playing the world cup qualifiers we saw something different and even in the AFCON they play very well till they start playing the FWC games, Senegal played like champions and you should know by now that every competitions have  how each teams performance because the energy is different and you can't expect Senegal to dominate as they did in the AFCON, no it can't happen, there must be a different plan. And for the record Senegal are champions of Africa. The only problem I have with them is this game against Belgium, aside from that they are good and playing against countries outside Africa and doing well right from the group stage means they are on another level, this is not about hype or whatsoever, it is the truth.
They conceded the penalty true but haven't asked yourself if that call was the wrong one or not, it was a clear penalty, there was a contact and you don't expect them to leave after seeing that the contact was made, they all knew and this incident is completely different from what we saw at AFCON against Morocco. Don't say they respect FIFA more after all FIFA was there when it all happened so where's this one coming from? I have to disagree with you on what you said about Senegal being good at leaving the pitch, brother the world saw the rubbish that ref did in the AFCON final.

Exactly, no one saw that coming, and it has made so many people to be interested to watch them now, because people are no very eager and informed to know when the next match will play, so that they will be able to watch. That is why coaches needs to keep working hard enough, so that they can be qualified for the finals like you said. Maybe CAF was right for stripping the Africa champion trophy from Senegal. That was a total disgrace and disrespect to the entire continent. It's a football and there's nothing wrong losing the match but there's everything wrong losing in that manner.

Yesterday was a bad day for Africa teams. First, it was Dr Congo against England after being the first to score and then Senegal who also score first, double the score and maintain their lead until 80 minutes before they gave it up unnecessarily.

Ivory Coast conceded a goal in the 86th minute and was eliminated
DR Congo conceded a goal in the 86th minute and was eliminated

That's true and is a sign for all of us that's wondering the relevance of Africa in the world Cup against every country in the future that Africa will in some day have countries that will be playing like Argentina or even England in the world Cup, this was the first change in performance from Africans in world Cup for many years now, because it wasn't the type that almost every country was playing very poor at the same time but however even if some were not supposed to be applauded for but a lot of other countries made Africa look mighty on this world cup. Yes second half has been an emanating problems of most of those African countries that lost because they will win the complete first half but in the second half it became harder for them to sustain how they were doing before.

The worst of it all was the time frame they conceded the two goals.

One thing is very obvious here that the African team are technically poor in this world cup else we will not be seeing almost the same trend among all the African teams that got to the round of 32.

As a coach, you have to be prepared for anything and plan for any situation that may arise in the cause of the game, that is what it means to be a tactician, knowing what to do at every point of the game,

How do you explain how a team with a two goal lead ends up conceding two late goals, that carelessness and loss of concentration.
