Africa is represented by teams that are being eliminated one by one although starting their games with a goal or two but at the end of the game, they could not resist anymore and let their opponents knock two or three goals and defeat them. The exception here is Morocco so far.
The case of Senegal was the most disastrous one because they were leading with two goals just few minutes before the end of the legal time. Nevertheless, I don't think that Africa is not well represented because the other nations wouldn't do any better. They failed to advance previously in the World Cup and in qualifiers..

The other when Hakimi said Morocco are the best team in Africa and everyone were mad because of what he said and now he is proving that they are the best in what he said. Probably after this tournament they will change but as far as this world cup is concerned, there is no team from Africa right now that is bigger than them. The way I'm watching them is the same way I'm watching other teams from other countries that are winning their match with ease.

I was very mad at Senegal, they had Belgium at the throat with two good goals but they couldn't contain the team, they didn't even conceded any goal from the beginning or the second half, it was when the match was almost over they gave up. I wonder what kind do men were made at the defensive position, they couldn't handle Tielesman the way he was making moves, it was very bad game compared to other teams that didn't made it to the round of 32.

One thing is very obvious here that the African team are technically poor in this world cup else we will not be seeing almost the same trend among all the African teams that got to the round of 32.

As a coach, you have to be prepared for anything and plan for any situation that may arise in the cause of the game, that is what it means to be a tactician, knowing what to do at every point of the game,

How do you explain how a team with a two goal lead ends up conceding two late goals, that carelessness and loss of concentration.

They lost focus and maybe, over excitement thinking that they have won the game can still cause that. However, that's not an excuse because you need to celebrate after the game is over. It's annoying that these European teams came from behind to win the games.

This has been a normal trend with African countries in this world cup competition, they score first and their opponents come back to win from behind, see cape verde, Ivory coast, DR congo and the most disappointing is Senegal. When they were two goals up, I thought we were going to have another African country besides Morocco in the round of 16, but I was wrong. They still ended up loosing out to Belgium.

This tells a lot about the fitness of African teams, they start well, but late into the game they are worn out and the European countries who have better fitness use that opportunity to get back into the game and win them, or is it that these African countries celebrate victory too early and lowers their guard allowing themselves a very porous defense and at the end pay the price by crashing out of the competition?

What is happening in the world cup this year shows that there is improvement in the African football, the teams that made it out of the group stage has been trying their best but we still need to encourage them to put more effort in their performance so that more African teams will not be eliminated in the world cup because most of the teams that was eliminated tried but their second half performance has been very poor. We do not want to see the African teams not making it to the finals we have got all the quality players but the coaches need to work on their game play in the second half.

That guy was their main midfield that as protecting them and controlling the game but he was substituted at 67 minutes, the Senegal and Belgium game changes immediately, they couldn't contained them anymore and they gave in 2 goals, like it was so fast that I was speechless in the night watching that game, I never expected that match to ended that quickly when Lukaku scored.

I will not blame Senegal like that, it was their last game against Iraq that qualified the team to come to round of 32 plus the goal, they would have been out. There is nothing to blame here but that decision the coach made was very bad. I just think that if as a coach, you have a strategy and it's working, you don't need to make extra changes, it affect the game. Sometimes, it turn out well and sometimes they turn out badly.

Ivory Coast conceded a goal in the 86th minute and was eliminated
DR Congo conceded a goal in the 86th minute and was eliminated

This has been the problem with coaches, when they are winning, they start to make some nonsense changes no minding what it might result to, will the coach say he was not noticing the nice job Gueye was doing or maybe he has concluded that the match has been won so it is time to substitute a good player that is not exhausted, sincerely I'm still pained because that match result, senegal would have won outrightly, the result was already in their favour, why then did the coach make such decision, it is not even as if the player that came was better or will be able to do the job better, I'm not just happy.

It waa big disappointment, not just to Senegal but to the whole of Africa. Senegal currently are peoples favorites, especially after that dramatic win against Morocco in the Afcon. A lot of people had hopes on them, they really thought they will be that team from Africa that will cause problems but instead they were eliminated in the worst possible way.

Honestly they played well for over 80 minutes in that game but how did lost concentration with just 5 minutes left of normal time and lost that game. It a heart breaking one for the players, fans and the nation entirely but as always football moves on. Good luck to the rest African teams.

I don't have to blame these players because their are forces that are acting on the players that can reduce there performances on the pitch. We have seen the case of fan from the Ghanaian supporters that was using black magic to reduce the performance of England players which actually worked. Spiritual attacks can reduce the performance of a players and there is nothing we can do about it.

African teams work so hard to curtail the strong attacking powers of European sides. They end up overworking, making them not remain strong and consistent towards the end of the games.

I have never doubted the ability of the Moroccan side. The team has remained solid since their outstanding performance in the last edition of the World Cup in Qatar. My brother said I am made to believe this, but I have this feeling that Cape Verde will pull up a surprise against Argentina .

I knew a lot of African teams that qualified for the round of 32 would be knocked out of the World Cup immediately I saw their opponents, even Senegal that I  was expecting to advance to the next stage failed me. African teams that are yet to play their match in the round of 32, if they are winning or they are on level terms and the time is remaining like 20 minutes to stoppage time, they should play 10 men defense in order for what happened in Ivory Coast, DR Congo, and Senegal match not to repeat itself.

Senegal match was just an annoying match, because I never believed they going to lose the match after scoring their second goal. I don’t even know what happened to them in the match because how will you be winning with two goals and you allowed the opponent score 2 goals in interval of 3 minutes, and they scored the 3rd goal during the extra time given in the match.

I will say Senegal were relaxed and that was the reason why they ended up conceding 3 goals in the match. I will say the substitution which the coach made was one of the reason why they lost the match yesterday, the coach was too confident that he has won the match after score second goal.

It seems like you are already fed up by the performance of most African team already, especially the Senegalese game against Belgium last night. I never expected them to lose that game especially when they were already 2-0 up, but due to poor showing towards the end of the game, they  lost the game at the end, which was the case as congo and Ivory Coast against Norway. So should we stop supporting our brothers just because of few of them that broke our heart? No.

Just watch and support them mate, but don't be too emotionally attached to any of the African teams, so that you wouldn't be too affected if they disappoint when we least expected.

There were no forces that was acting on the African players that influenced their performances on the pitch. The reason why Ivory Coast, DR Congo, and Senegal conceded last goals and got knocked out is because they didn't defend very well when it was remaining small time for the referee to blow the final whistle. Ghanaian witch doctor wasn't the one who stopped Harry Kane to score against Ghana, Ghana coach's tactics and Ghana players' efforts was what stopped Harry Kane from finding the net of Ghana. Nigeria is known as the country with the highest voodoo in Africa. Had the been voodoo works in football, Nigeria would have used Voodoo to manipulate other teams and qualify to the World Cup when their chances was slim to qualify to the World Cup.
