The Ghanaian team faced a lot of challenges coming into the competition with having major of the attacking players whom they depended on going on serious injuries just before the competition began I believe that affected their performance in this World Cup because they had a really poor showing. If Morocco win Canada, They will prepare to play the winner between Paraguay and France and I know that it will likely be france, so that would be a very interesting game seeing if Morocco will be able to defeat France.

You see that cape Verde team they are unbelievable strong without having star players in their squad they have played as an elite team and to think that cape Verde took Argentina to an extra time in that match, it sends a strong warning that the next word cups it will never be business as usual for the big nations that have always dominated the world cup easily.

It was written everywhere that Ghana was going home cause their rival the Colombians are a more decorated team than they are and are solidly better than the black stars.

This also pains me after discovering that we only have Morocco has the last Man standing in Africa that we could build confidence in this world cup journey, the second country that would have served a subordinate for us is Cape Verde and was just eliminated last night after struggling with Argentina, they played well and I think everything it takes has been given but the luck was not just there for them to win against Argentina.

But for Morocco to bit Canada is something else again because honestly its unpredictable, because Canada is not a team that you can just overlook like that if you look at their previous performance is and how they have been dealing with other countries the come across, but as it stands now, everything is under a 50% chance of winning or losing for both of them.

I am tired 😩, more African countries are losing in the round of 32. Will it be only Morocco that will qualify for the round of 16? Switzerland scored 2 goals when played with Algeria, the two goals were scored during first half. Algeria has been knocked out of the world cup, it is highly disappointing.

Africans were so happy when nine out of ten African teams that qualified for the World Cup secured round of 32 ticket. But right now, with the way African teams are being knocked out of the World Cup is surprising and tiring as two out of the seven African teams that have played their match in the round of 32 managed to advance to the round of 16. I pray for at least one more African team to join Morocco and Egypt in the round of 16.

I made a post about a week ago that Morocco and Egypt are the only 2 African teams that will likely advance further in the world cup and i was right about it because as it stands now, Ghana has just been eliminated by Colombia and i don't think that Algeria can win Switzerland. This is yet another sad experience for Africa because when we saw 9 African teams qualify for the round of 32, we were saying that there is no way the least 5 teams won't advance further but one after the other they were being kicked out, and the most annoying game was Belgium versus Senegal where Senegal had the opportunity to win but they watched it slip away from them.

I'm suspecting that Morocco, Egypt and Ivory Coast will reach the quarter finals especially Morocco and Egypt who haven't lost a match yet.

Egypt and Morocco have indeed reached the round of 16 after which they'll be heading to the quarter finals; I wonder if they can really pull it of to the quarter finals as you initially predicted, I hope they do. So far so good, Morocco has been really impressive, same with Egypt.

Honestly, this is where the real struggle begins, especially for Egypt. They'll be playing Argentina in the round of 16, and if the successful qualify, they'll be facing either Switzerland or Colombia. As for Morocco, they'll be facing Canada in this upcoming round of 16, and either France or Paraguay in the next.

It will really be a slippery slope for them going forward. Well I wish them all the best.

The road to the quarter final is very narrow especially for Egypt because i doubt if they can win Argentina in the round of 16, Morocco can win Canada, but France is another stumbling block for them ahead because France will surely win Paraguay to reach the quarter final. Morocco looks promising but if they must make it to the semifinals, they have to be strategic and build up their attacks because that is one area they have a problem since their defense is already solid. The chances of an African team to reach the final is very slim but if any African team will make it there then it will obviously be Morocco since Egypt is not reliable due to some errors they made in the previous match. Africa really need to invest in football and produce a team who can be able to battle other big countries from Europe and South America precisely, because they are always the top contender when it comes to the world cup. Yea, I agree with you. You don't just believe it's over not it's not yet over. I think, the Africa teams are so relaxed when they take the lead without having the mentality to score more goals to make it difficult for an easy equalizer. Cabo Verde fought hard as if they're in the same level in football with Argentina. They let us know that's not by big names.

Cape Verde drew with Spain, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia before Argentina.  So if u think this was their first surprise then it clearly shows u have not been following the world cup or u are just being bias just to win an argument.

Certainly we're currently seeing several African teams that are getting it right in terms of basic understanding of football. So far, non of the teams that qualified and played including all those that have exited showed one thing in common and that's the fact that they played really and didn't sit back waiting to be attacked while they do the defending all through. They played well though the only missing ingredient is the fact that the mentality still needs to be worked on. The takeaway from the journey thus far is that with a little bit of technical training, Africa can get it right. If the remaining teams are wise enough to learn very fast and train to put up a positive momentum from the start of the game to the end, regardless of the earlier advantage they might have, we still have the kind of teams that is capable of going far and possibly lifting the trophy.

Exactly,Ghana is not really the worst teams in the tournament l. The fact that they draw against any bigger team shows they have the discipline and can compete when more organised. And that draw really raised the hope of the fans that the squad can rebuild momentum. The part where they disappointed me was when they came play Columbia, they look promising and capable of causing trouble to Columbia but after the first goal, i was shocked to see that they lose confidence and couldn't control the game because in a competition like this, especially in this stage, it's expected that you maintain or even improve your consistency and confidence in every game. But regardless, there are other teams that performed way below Ghana, for the fact that they reached this stage shows they have what it takes to be there just that they need to rebuild and improve their mentality and also they need to work on their composure also. I believe Ghana can learn from this performance and experience and also come back better and stronger in future tournaments.

Here is a list of African teams classified from good to worse in my opinion :
1- Morocco
2- Cape Verde and Egypt
4- Senegal
5- DR Congo and Ivory Coast
7- Algeria,  South Africa and Ghana
10- Tunisia
I can't precise which teams are better than the others in this list when they are all in the same line. Nevertheless, I believe most of these teams are quite good and deserves better outcome

The  shots of Colombia national football team were more in this match and these were 20 in this match and 8 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was great in this match which was 62 percent in this game And they tried to be dominant in this match and they were dominant in the whole game as they did 1 goal in this match abd opponent team did no goal in this match. The passes of Colombia national football team were more in this match and these were 576 in this match and pass accuracy of that team was 90 percent in this match. Arias did one and only goal of this match but he should try to do goal again in this match but he could not do any goal till end and Ghana national football team lose this match due to their own mistakes which they did in this match and they regret after their loss in this match

Football will continue prove us wrong and the reason is simple, no matter how convinced we are with our predictions and expectations, there are times we get shocked with how football event went, I now understand why some persons were talking tough that Cape Verde will win the match although they did not win but I think something made them to believe that, take a close look at what happened in that match, cape Verde as a team wasn't ready to pave way for Argentina, I will say that Argentina won by luck, the match was not business as usual for the, I really enjoyed this year word cup because many history was made.

If you watched the Cape Verde match against Spain, then you should know that's the performance that was expected of them, as in their first leg game with Spain, they showed the Spanish side a very tough time that resulted in them ending up in a draw match with Spain. Same thing we saw last night; imagine Argentina had to go on an extra time game with them to be able to come out victorious in that last night's encounter with Cape Verde.
