Guys,

This coin will be dumped all the time by miners who have autosell enabled on cryptsy. I put two small buy walls yesterday and it took 8 hours to get 40k SMC.
I've never sold any coins yet and still believe that SMC someday will rule.
Pumping price doesn't make sense now as it will be driven down again, we need more investors and definitely price per block should decrease to 8 SMC rather than 16SMC.

I'm looking forward to POS or any other features that make mining more difficult/

P.S - already on the black market there are ASIC for X11  / made in china /  - look at the difficulty on the DARK COIN and you will see diff from 900 to 2100

Is this true or just something you would like? I am all 100% for it if it is true and agree if it isnt.

Anything that doesn't come from me or psionin is just speculation.  We have tossed around the idea of PoS but like psionin said that would be June or July at the earliest if that is the path we decide to take.  It is possible that would coincide with a relaunch.  Of course all current coins and those being mined would not be affected, no one would lose any coins.  We are definitely interested in hearing ideas from the SmartCoin community and they will be taken into consideration.

These were my thoughts and recommendations friends, I hope you are not left with the wrong impression

x11 just because thats the smart algo right now ( less heat, less power usage, smart and eco friendly) dont care much for when the big boys come in to play, bc they will, no mather what algo we end up with, if (rather when) smc gets popular and rice in price the big boys wanna play with their asics aswell, peronally i dont care about that im in for the whole concept with smart coin and then x11 would be the choice to go, PoS would be a happy surprise after that aswell.

No, just make sure you make a backup of your wallet.dat file (in appdata) from your old wallet. You can place that in the new wallet folder in appdata, sync and your coins are safe. All your coins are saved in your wallet.dat file.

Of course not. Just download the latest wallet and open it.

thanks guys, all coins there - I was quite absent to the whole crypto community for about 2 months, found out my smartcoins are worth 15$ but hey, they always tell you only invest what you can afford to lose so - still believe in the name though, and I like the logo, stay smart, carry on oh and I will be part of it as promised, just I still have financial problems, unectectedly...damn lawyers and justice system...takes so long...

The former dev gave us part of the premine.  The premine was 400,000 SMC of which I was given 150,000.  That 150,000 SMC is held by me and psionin as follows:

me:        50,000 SMC
psionin:  100,000 SMC

On a percentage basis 400,000 SMC was about a 0.78% premine.

It looks like the original IRC channel listed at cryptocointalk can still be accessed through the web.

I have also looked into adding a chat box to the SMC forum, but the free plugins didn't work and the decent ones apparently cost money. That forum isn't as restrictive with posting times and search as this one though, so I would recommend to go there. A discussion on the PoW/PoS changes and another new feature has been started: X11 Mining, Proof-of-Stake, and Darksend

It needs some fixens 1st. this has the same market cap it had when it started. it's been months. It needs pos and anonymity and a whole lot of getting the word out for it to do anything on mintpal. They are not going to add a coin with $11k market cap. I could buy all the smc coins that exist atm with ease if they where for sale. I know fat whales that would flick this off like an elephant would a mosquito. I know whales that pay will $11k BTC daily. Liberty coin is offer a bounty (8500) that is almost the entire value of this coin and its only 2 wks old for a dev to implement a feature.  This coin needs stuff way before it ever should think about going on any huge exchange.  I will say the bittrex is much kinder to small coins so if things get going that should be one of the first places to get it listed.
