How is the prices going up if Cryptsy is not accepting SMC trades?
SMC is trading just no deposits or withdrawals. |

Finally after deleting everything but wallet.dat and the congfig file it checked the entire blockchain and found some of my coins and synced. Thanks for the help everyone.  |

Well ok. I'll leave then.
Yes i was very angry with the old dev. He was not getting anything done. Yes im glad the community is taking over.
I did not sell my SMC before, i decided not to.
But if you all feel that way, i guess i will now.
Trust me, if i sold all my coins, you would know about it.

By the way, any joy with contacting hash-so to re-start SMC pool on old fork? We need it badly!

Dev, please Contact with Poloniex. SMC trading is frozen.
I have been talking with Poloniex for the last several days, I am awaiting their latest reply. They did not just come out and say it but it seems they froze SMC because Cryptsy put SMC in maintenance mode. |

By the way, any joy with contacting hash-so to re-start SMC pool on old fork? We need it badly!
Hash.so is currently a poorly maintained pool. We don't need pools like that. The guy admits that he doesn't have time to maintain the pool anymore. If you have a complaint with hash.so you can get in line at their thread. Hash.so is currently on the wrong fork of several coins. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402076.380Now xhash is a pool that I would like to have back. They take care of their customers and are very quick to fix problems. |

I really liked hash-so because it was very easy to switch to different coin and dev was very active in the past. I've spend couple of hours on IRC yesterday trying to catch him, but no success. |

strange, many coins looked muuuch muuch less promising and are doing great in oposite to SMC
it turned out that nice tasteful design and gold mouth of the dev are not everything..

Deposits and withdrawals to Cryptsy have resumed. All my deposits and withdrawals were processed except 2 test deposits on April 4th. I am awaiting reply from Cryptsy on that issue. We are back at Poloniex as well. There will be an announcement posted here soon regarding SmartCoin's future development. Thank you for staying with SmartCoin!
