Deposits and withdrawals to Cryptsy have resumed.  All my deposits and withdrawals were processed except 2 test deposits on April 4th.  I am awaiting reply from Cryptsy on that issue.  We are back at Poloniex as well.  There will be an announcement posted here soon regarding SmartCoin's future development.  Thank you for staying with SmartCoin!

Great job invisible Hands, I am trying to advertise of SMC as much as I can.
As a community, I hope everybody is doing the same!
Keep up the great work. Future is bright.

Ps: I am buying more SMC to get going again.

Invisible Hands,

You are doing a great job!

I also did a test deposit of 5 SMC on April 4 on Cyrptsy, and I have no idea where it is! I hope I can get it back soon. Issues like this will determine the reliability and stability of Smartcoin, so I hope it will be solved!

Cheers.

The 1.1 wallet should sync fine for another ~21 days.

Here is the latest Windows release: https://github.com/psionin/smartcoin/releases/tag/v1.3.2.0

And the repo branch corresponding to that: https://github.com/psionin/smartcoin/tree/v1.3.2.0

Today marks a new beginning for Smartcoin.  Psionin is now the Developer of SmartCoin!  Cryptsy used his source code to build their client.  He is responsible for getting SmartCoin back on Cryptsy and out of maintenance mode.  I want to thank him for all his hard work and look forward to a bright future for SmartCoin!  I will leave it to him to explain the features of the new wallet.  It can be downloaded here:

https://github.com/psionin/smartcoin/releases/tag/v1.3.2.0

Please join me in welcoming Psionin!

Thanks for the welcome. I was looking for a development role and thought that SmartCoin had a great image and concept that could be expanded into a unique niche within the bitcoin ecosystem, and thought that the recent demand for leadership and development resources was a good opportunity to join this project.

It appears that there have been some troubles recently, but after learning about the project and finding solutions throughout the past week, I believe that they have all been resolved!

I'm confident that this coin has prosperous future and have significant interest in seeing it grow through the early stages.

Over the past week, the following changes have been implemented:
- Sorting through and merging of past changes, while fixing critical bugs
- OpenSSL update to fix the Heartbleed vulnerability
- Qt5 compatibility update
- Fixes to make files and project file
- Adding new checkpoints
- Fix for the subsidy reduction change
- Code clean-up

There are also many things I would like to do in the future.

Right now is the time to update to the new release, and to inform mining pools about the new version. There are still three weeks left of the initial tranche of 64 coin per block subsidy, so this is one of the best coins to mine right now!

I will be making a new thread.

I just want to be clear that I am staying with SmartCoin!  I do not have the technical skills to be the developer of SmartCoin.  I will be assisting with non-technical issues.  I believe this is the best path forward for SmartCoin.

Invisible,

Why is the 'Official" forum as the other site forum? I think this should just be the official forum.

The other site is dead...

I removed it from the OP, some things were copied from the former dev's thread in haste.

Did your April 4th SMC deposit to Cryptsy ever go through?

No... Just checked again. It is not posted in my balance. Though when I look at the blockchain, it is confirmed..

What do you think I should do?
