Personally, I’m a private gambler when it comes to my real identity. I don’t let people around me know that I gamble.
But here on bitcointalk a lot of people/user already know that I’m a gambler here. Even so, I still do everything on my own, like placing bets without any help.
There are times when I offer or ask my close friends or known user here on bitcointalk to hedge my bets, and so far, some of them are willing to help me hedge the bet what I'm asking for..

You are not alone on your privacy oriented gambling pattern infact most of us gambling with cryptocurrency are all doing that because of the privacy it offers so for that reason having a gambling Friend is kind of hard to find since we intend to keep everything related to gambling private and not some lousy marketers who call themselves gamblers moving and chasing the crowd or group of friends, this doesn't add up in my experience it's better we gamble alone and with peace of mind.

 Both sides of the argument communicated here are relatable by me. I completely agreed with you, involving your friends in something that won't profit them anything is not a good move at all, because at some point of life, they will regrets accepting your invitation and blame you for leading them astray, there are other activities that you can indulge them into which will benefit them in one or the other but gambling is never an option, which can get things messy and frustrating, which can also deprived them of their happiness as well.

I have many friends who gamble, especially on foolball betting in fact, you could say they’re more experienced than I am when it comes to football betting and we often share our betting slips with each other. I also frequently ask for advice on which teams have a good chance of winning a match so I can get a better idea of where to place my bets.

I know a few guys who gamble and am in a group chat,, it's interesting to follow along and see some of the bets they are placing - some stuff clearly gets mispriced. There are some in the chat that bet a lot and others who do very little, but it's good to bounce ideas around. Besides that when going to a real world casino it's better to have a few mates around as that increases the social side of it. Even if you run out of cash you can watch somebody having a much better session. I think the only time it's better to work alone is on things like a poker session where you are constantly analysing and need optimum concentration.

Yes, I believe that people of that nature can build relationships with people very quickly. I think there is no need to explain it with examples. But I think no gambler should disclose his gambling to all people. At times, it can be dangerous. To be honest though I am not much into gambling and rarely use casino platforms. But I try to keep it a secret because everything needs privacy and prefer to be alone almost all the time within 24 hours. However, I have many friends who smoke and drink as well as gamble. Try to avoid them most of the time.

Those set of friends are just good for analysis sake and we shouldn't even rely on their analysis so much since we can tell their level of gambling addiction, although football betting is Easy to follow up and to tell when other's are giving wrong analysis, so is very important to do your own independent research and analysis.

Group betting is risky that is the reason I will never take such bet and if anyone should share me their bet code to use, I always put my own analysis.

It's not that forming a group of friends and only talking about one activity is difficult because they always do everything but that, but if something can be done, it's not bad to share experiences you have in gambling, because they help you win money. Sometime the friends analyse can be the safezone for your bet to come through, when you habe no analysis of information about the game, this is what I treat betting friends as without much implications or involvement that could bring problems between me and anyone, most times also I use to add their suggestions and analyse to mind this way I limit the risks and over dependent on their analyse, but this often happens on games that I have idea of like teams that I am already following.

I agreed with you with the fact that prevention is better than cure but your friends should also be aware that gambling is a matter of choices and their fate is being decided by luck, which they will be held accountable with whatever thing the outcome may be whether loss or profit and if they are not comfortable or convinced to gamble at that time, they have the right to held back or not. So, this is not a matter of forcing one when they already have the idea of what gambling is.

In my case, it's unavoidable because all they talk about is sports, and that's practically all they know. I just listened, but I've learned a lot The specific things are what stick with me the most, details about players, injuries, what they do, the treatments, how long they last, the impact they have on families They're very minute details, and thanks to them, I've learned a lot, It's much easier for me to understand football now, and I even have my own analyses based on everything I always hear them say.

I have some similarity with you, because I gamble anonymously both online and offline, and even my friends and family members are not aware of my gambling, because I keep it private. After all, gambling is still treated negatively in my society, so when I openly discuss gambling, my own friends insult me many times. I used to share my gambling experience with 2-3 of my very close friends because they are also members of this forum and associated with gambling. But I think it is possible to gamble alone, because no tipster can guarantee a sure win for anyone here. The lucky one will win even if he is not experienced in gambling.
