It’s not just a promise, it’s a responsibility, and there are consequences if they fail to do their job properly. Casinos spend years building their reputation, and leaking or losing important KYC documents or user information would easily destroy their business.

Look at it from that angle. Are they really willing to risk everything because of negligence? Most likely not.
