The insecurity is not going to be resolved because this is what the government is using to make money for themselves and that has become a quick way to make money from the insecurity in the state. The current government is very corrupt and they will always look for way to steal money from the government purse into their own different accounts.

Is after this leadership regime we can expect the retaliation of the government against insecurity because when all the people in power are using it to allocate money and the same time use all the allocation on themselves will be leaving office as they will be completing next year, so perhaps the new ones would like to keep peace in the country before they can have a good governance, so until this regime is completed fighting insecurity remains a skeptical speech because a sponsor will definitely find a way to protect what they're sponsoring, if they return all the money they spend on insecurity they would solve a problem of 40% population in Nigeria.

So we have to wait till the end of this tenure before expecting peace knowing fully well that with what is currently on ground, we are going into a one party state which directly means that there is no way next tenure will not still comprise of at least 80% of the people that are still sitting in position of authority while this is going on.

Even if on the most positive note their comes a change of government, for all we have been used to, they might just forget about the security challenge and focus on less pressing needs as we have always seen them do. in the end, if we want a thorough end to both the Christian genocide in Nigeria and the increasing kidnapping and killing that is happening in Nigeria, it has to be taken as a matter that demands emergency response from the world body if not, the Nigerian politician will keep joking with peoples life while the case worsen as the day goes by.

Lol, the killings recorded in Jos and Jalingo are what please?! And where these Boko haram/bandits nuked? or they targeted some village in Sokoto which have never recorded such case of banditry in their lands?! All we need is for them to be totally eradicated and not even get them afraid because they have committed a lot of atrocity that they do not deserve to live with humans on earth anymore, how will one find pleasure in taking the life of innocent people all because of religious difference and other related reasons. I am actually surprised Secretary Rubio is not pushing President Trump to be more proactive in helping his "fellow Christian brethern in Christ" with regards Nigeria. A few strikes on targets provided by the Nigerian military simply is not the solution here because they are clearly not effective. Proper intelligence gathering focusing on leadership among these terrorist groups is required and the Nigerian military appear not to be capable of providing this. Wasting US tax dollars striking some obscure coordinates provided by the Nigerian side is not acceptable. There needs to be specialist help on the ground provided to the Nigerians so any strikes requested by them prove to be effective. Every time you miss a target only emboldens their resolve. If a more effective approach is not taken we could be looking at Lagos being encircled by these groups someday once they get a foothold in major regions across Nigeria. The Nigerian people are oblivious to what is really taking place across North Africa making its way southwards and across the continent and the casualties the Nigerian military are taking trying to keep these groups under control.
