I keep asking the purpose for those United States soldiers over 200 on ground. And why do we have the insurgency increasing rapidly ever since they came in?!
Too many people are quiet because this is not directly affecting them or their properties, behaviour like this is why we have the nation a lot backwards. When the Nigerian government's ready to curb and combat terrorism in northen Nigerian, they know who to call for help and intelligence and it has and never will be Americans.

Maybe a little grease on the elbow isn’t such a bad idea. It’s not as if the government are doing anything about this Christian killings in Nigeria, the Christians are helpless. There’s a religious war going on and only one side is really calling the shots, while the other is just there taking what comes at them, they can’t even defend themselves properly, so what exactly do you mean the US military is busy fueling the whole situation, as if the situation isn’t worse than it should be already…

When I made my first comment in this thread I emphasized on the fact and truth that it's Nigerians that are being killed both Christians, Muslims and Traditional worshipers alike. So generally the terrorists are killing Nigerians regardless of ethnicity and religion. The Jos murderous and barbaric attacks which is one of many that has vindicated that comment once again. One would have thought that the arrival of American foot soldiers on the Nigeria soil could quelled and bring the situation to stop but it all getting worse than it was before they landed. And am forced to ask of what significance has their presence being?   The Nigeria political class is where all my blames are actually fixating on anyway.

It is a month already and there's no positive update on neutralising terrorist, rather innocent villages and villagers are being massacred.
I see too many Nigerians kissing asses of the west who are not after their interest, well, it will sure be thr best way to learn if you can not learn for yourself. The political representatives are stupid asf, reasons why we should head back to military rule to wipe out this politicians and their corrupt judges. I have nothing more to say because even the blind can see who's fueling the killings.

Expecting positive response from the Nigerian government since the incident occurred that prompted sudden action from external body is what can't come to reality as the Nigerian government derives joy and pleasure from the sorrowful days of citizens.  After the incident occurred all where expecting the Nigerian government to intervene with immediate effect instead all they did was to establish a means of covering the situation so the world will believe they are working so hard without knowing there is nothing hidden under the sun. The issue of Nigeria is beyond ordinary as terrorism is seen as a normal practice because citizens lacks the potentials to stop the government instigated activity.

I strongly support a good military rule because it's obvious that for the past decades democracy as adopted from the West isn't favouring African countries, the continent is as backward as nothing to compare to. Most importantly Nigeria!! A working Nigeria fully independent without the interest of foreign countries is not wanted by most of the world powers in the current day, because it will spur the idea of uniting Africa using their own currency, building their own food and security and quit relying on on the west. Those who have gotten to the level of independence are fully through the military and dictatorship. Democracy has not benefited us ever since it was brought in, it is high time we retire to Africa solutions for African problems. All we see it constant looting,  the average kid in the west has lived a better life all his days on earth, than the average African. I share in your grief and support your notion. But one thing we need to also understand is that these so called killers and criminals have infiltrated every corner of the society, including the military, so a military takeover might just end up being an easy ticket for them to finish what they’ve started without going through any process or without answering to anyone, this as we know would make things even worse than it already is.

This has been my position for long time, according to the late sani Abacha he said if a terrorist survived within 24 hours then the  government has a hand in it. With this we can all agree that the Nigerian government has a hand in the terrorism in the country today, a government that rehabilitated  captured terrorists and recruited them into the army.

Yes, of course the Nigerian government are the one who are  sponsoring these terrorist and they are using it to make money. Do you know how much they budget for security  in Nigeria? After what happened in Jos, the capital of Plateu state, i think I'll agree that the government are the ones sponsoring the terrorism,  you csn see how some took too long to criticise the actions of the terrorist even the speech Mr President made was baseless he didn't even give e the people hope that he'll restore security.

 You can see how all they care about is,campaigning for the forth coming elections, nothing borders this regime than remaining in power it doesn't matter how much blood is sheed in the north or people kidnapped. The recent killing in Nigeria is not against Christians only. The Muslims are also affected with the killing, every religion is at risk here. I think it is a targeted killing to prove a point.

Nigeria's election is fast approaching, less than 12 months to go. Whenever the election period is close, killing will begin in Nigeria. The people over there have to ensure they live in a decent environment that prioritize security.

If they couldn't rescue a Brigadier General in service that was trap in the terrorist's zone, foolishly or purposely gave out location and watch him on the media killed like a chicken then I don't expect them to rescue any villages. Terrorists having the freedom to post their activities on social media without being tracked is what amazes me.

 It's too bad that they've captured all arms of government including most of the strategic political positions so it would be tough to kick them out cause as usual they'll have the support of the Military, Inec amd the Judiciary to be able to rig elections and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
