Your passion can be motivated by Money. When you are earning money from the little job you are doing then your passion would be fully utilize. If you have passion on the job you are doing and there is no motivational gift from the employee, the passion will die down. Everyone would have their opinion on this matter but I chose money which is the motivational force in any career.

I think you have a misconception about passion. Passion is something we have strong emotions to do without noticing the financial results. Passion is deep feeling which we love to do the most favourite thing we enjoy. Passion and money has no direct relations but they are just linked in the context of career and life fulfillment. You are giving point that passion will earn us money. Maybe our passion can make us successful if we do the thing at its extreme level. For example if a game is our passion, we simply do it for our joy but if we have expertise in that game we can also be successful in life. You should say that money increase the willness and curiosity to work. Without money why anybody will want to work? It’s the money who force us to work in order to survive in this country.

I had this problem and some of my friends are stuck in a job they don't like just to get paid.

So, long ago I chose passion. I felt like my time was more important and I wanted to live my life happily, not come tired from work every day. I'll give you an example. I know 1 person who has to spend an hour in traffic every day just to get to a job she doesn't like and that doesn't pay a lot. It's just safe, stable, pays relatively well... Anyway, that girl's kids are in a daycare whole day every day and she comes home tired late in the afternoon. That just sucks.

Choose passion as long as you don't have to struggle because not having money to pay rent or buy clothes is even worse. So, go with passion but be smart about it and make it work.

You are actually right that passion is about doing what we love without thinking of money first. But in reality, money does influence how far we can go with that passion. While passion brings joy, money ensures survival and progress. Not everyone works out of love many do it just to survive.  Still, if passion meets opportunity, it can bring both fulfillment and income.

If your passion can not pay the bills you have no other option than to go for what will pay the bills while you keep that which is your passion that can't pay the bills one side. A lot of people are not happy doing what they are doing but they have no choice than to keep doing it because what they have passion for is no where to be found, everyone is working for the money no one is chasing their passion when they can't take care of themselves doing what they have passion for.

No matter how much passion for something you have if you overwork yourself you will lose the spark sooner or later. So in my experience passion does not matter much as long as one is motivated and has good work habits.

On the other hand money is good motivator for most but one must have at least some desire to do that work to be able to do it.

So balance between motivation and money is my answer.

I think I can relate with this. I love my job which is posting but whenever there is some topic that is hard, it makes me to overworked and the feeling is unpleasant already. This is why as an employer, it is important to give adequate working time for their employees to ensure that they still can deliver a quality of work. Motivation can also come with passion. One can simply work but if they have no passion, they may still not deliver quality result.

In my opinion, passion and money making cannot work separately. This way, what OP asking seems like not appropriate to me. Because, only passion can drive your career. Without passion, no one could perform well and when you cannot perform, you cannot expect promotion in your life. Without promotions, how we could make more money?

Yeah in our Society today, when it comes to choosing a career, people often find themselves in a dilemma between passion and money. Which one is more important and which should you prioritize?

The most important one to choose that can keep a worker consistent without been drained is passion which should be the bedrock of your hustling spirit, it passion dies out money can't be enjoyed and maintained and even loved.

Go ask content creators what keeps them going even when money never comes in, passion. Ask a developer what keeps them hoping to get to the right position someday, passion.

If you don't get passion for a job, you'll eventually collapse and quit when the money hasn't started coming, so it's best to go for passion while money comes in at last. Imagine doing what you love while money comes as rewards and doing what you hate for money?

Before it’s money, now it becomes my passion. Because I see future on it, I see my full potentials from it. And since I’m talking about bitcoin investment and trading, although they have different risks involved, but I am now more inclined to managed them and even knowledgeable and skillful enough to navigate them despite how unpredictable its market.

Be it passion or money, the fact that you have endured it and have enjoyed doing it till now, and that gives you a meaningful and valuable lifestyle, that alone matters the most.

Let me be honest bro , it is money that drives my career path and without money they can't be passion. Everything we are doing is to make money in other to cater for our daily life. So there's no way a person can tell me that it passion that drives his or her career expect they were raised up in  a rich home.

Just like most cases of dilemma the better choice is always finding a balance between the two motivators.
Sometimes we hear folks who earn high complain about their job that they’re not happy but they’re still there cos of the money they’re making.
And then someone who’s doing what he or she loves but it’s not getting enough money.

Life has proven to be unfair in the majority of cases. Not everybody is into the carreer he wanted to be one day when he is still younger. Many passions have no motivations to be relied on as a professional carreer. In the meanwhile, carreers generating a lot of profit money are so hard work to ba adopted as a hobby or a passion.
The only carreer that i find profitable and many love it is the agriculture. If someone is in love with plants, trees, animals.. he has the opportunity to balance between his passion and get a revenue.

I think the greatest metric in knowing you are successful on your career would be the basis of money. Careers are more focused on the monetary aspect and the objective phase; whereas success focuses on the subjective phase where money can possibly not be involved.

Some people may argue that passion is what drives their career path. But without any money, how can you fund your passion in the first place? Additionally, what if your passion is to be something that could not sustain your spending habits, etc.

At the end of the day, career is an objective term that focuses more on the monetary aspect of a person. Passion leans towards on the subjective part where we can be passionate on something.

"Career and Passion" - I like both, but I tend to choose passion if I have to choose one of the two.
I like a little flexibility in the work world - even though I don't ultimately make more money than I would with a full-time job with all the pressures. I don't like being so controlled by work that it takes away so much time from enjoying life - in fact, I never consider any job to be my comfort zone. Work that is loved tends to be more enjoyable - more passionate and fulfilling, but worth it income also needs to be considered.

I want to say passion, because that’s the ideal one that should drive your career path. But money drives more than my passion, and I think a lot would agree to this. What is more important now is the different opportunities to make money, not to stick with passion as it can’t make you earn a living, except if you are also into it while generating an income.

I don't believe in passion without money. If there isn't money involved on your career, you will become frustrated sooner or later for not being able to thrive and to do things you would like to. This is a capitalist world, where life turns around money. Those who can afford have more opportunities and life quality available to them. They can travel, acquire quality food and have access to the most recent technological gadgets.

By having access to all those things, you will be able to open your horizons to new knowledges and your personal evolvement as individual. That is very important, even though some people claim (falsely) you don't need money to be happy.

Happiness isn't solely about money, but money is an essential element of it in this physical world. I guess the most important aspect of a career is to be ethical with yourself and with others. Don't put money above ethics and you will be fine.

Working with our passion probably can make us love our jobs because everyday we were working with the things which we like it but life is not simple as it because many people have to burried their passion because they were really required money to fulfill their needs and most people will forgot their passion because they feel money is the most important than everything because if these people only maintain their principles and only want to work according to their passion most like they cannot feeds their families

I myself am more focused on money, because here money has an important role in life. Apart from that, in my opinion, when there is money there will be passion. I myself experienced that I had no interest in the job my friend was offering, but when he said this amount of salary made me change my mind to wanting to get involved in getting a fairly large income because I really want a large income in life, because with this I can support my family.

But even so, I think there are also people who pay more attention to their skills before discussing money, so they focus on developing their skills in the right direction, because that way they will be able to make money with greater certainty. And yes, everyone's interests are different and money can arouse passion.

You have to consider yourself quite lucky in life if you truly enjoy your job, however some people are able to have a positive attitude whatever they're doing and make the best of every day. You might be a pot washer and be happy in life, or you could be a high flyer on $100k a year but be utterly miserable. I'd prefer to find a balance in between leaning towards being happier. When you're young don't be afraid to move around every 2-3 years because that is often how you move up in salary, otherwise you can stagnate rather early. Plus that gives you the opportunity to try different types of jobs, maybe you're happier doing physical work compared to being in an office - you'll never know if you don't try it.

I am of the opinion that choosing career for sake money is no happy way to live, I would rather choose passion, even though it may not bring plenty money but hopefully enough, at least I'll be looking forward to 'work' every single day and I'll be feeling like I am getting paid to do nothing (because, as the quote goes — If you do what you love, you never work a day in life).

That’s a right point that people cannot do the things they love because life is expensive and bills must be paid to enjoy. Our passion is something we do for our enjoyment and our peace but the fact is our passion cannot bring us the food on table. If we are expert in passion it can earn us a wealth. Everybody on the job isn’t happy from it but they have to do it in order to survive. The things we want to do are difficult to chase as we have the capacity to afford them. But we have to be grateful for the things like our job which we don’t want to do but still there is a small happiness or use the money to spend on our real passion. You can make it possible to explore the world or travel with your struggle and patience.
