The world we live in is evolving and changing fast. more people are earning income from their phones and laptops like never before. We all experienced COVID and saw how it affected the economy. Yes companies had to close but few stood their ground due to the fact that they had online workers who could attend to we the buyers/consumers without being in an office.
People are now acuring skills such as coding, free lancing, web development, programming and many more. Not just because their sick and tired of office work but because technology has made it possible for anyone to work anywhere, some even anytime. and earn without stepping into an office.
But my question remains. Are online jobs the future of global employment, or you see it as a phase just passing by.

When we are talking about technology, we are definitely referring to the internet so in order for technology to advance it means that we all need to be technically skilled about how things work on the internet so YES, ''online jobs is the future of global development'' that is why we should learn digital skills and also teach our children so that they would meet up with modern technology and grow with it. We are in a phase where security is becoming a global concern so if we all can work from the internet, i believe that it will help to reduce security threats that many people expose themselves all in the name of appearing physical in their offices and place of work. We have heard of people being kidnapped, harmed and even shot dead while at their place of works and some persons have also been robbed while coming back from the bank but now that we are about entering into a digital age, those social vices will reduce and give birth to a society where many people will be employed at the comfort of their homes.

I believe traditional offline based jobs have many limitations, less opportunity but in case of online jobs the field is just limitless. You just have to have the right sets of skills and you should be good to go. I'll set an example, the average monthly salary in Bangladesh is around 26,100 BDT/$218.54 USD (according to Google). So a person doing offline job will earn about that much and if he wanna earn more I guess he'll have to move to more developed countries. When it comes to online we don't need that. We would be sitting on our home, and doing our jobs. Also, you will not only be handling local clients but also international customers! The the amount they pays, is huge compared to the place! For example, a video editor doing a good job for oversea clients can easily make 1000 bucks in a month. So the bottom line is, yes online jobs are the future of global employments. Now don't bring any topic about manual labour like construction work! That's a totally different case.

The way we are getting employment through online, maybe our next generation will get better employment than us through this online. It's not passing by, as matter of fact it's only going to increase exponentially, this is the future of global employment. Some of us live in third world countries and we know how challenging it is to get employed due to several factors but we can't rely on the government forever so this has lead to a lot of people finding ways online to make money and a lot of people are now well to do without the aid of the government

And such practice have been tested during the pandemic days. A lot found out that digitalization is the new norm in some of their business practices. And that actually provide them improve productivity and efficiency in operations. Because you can already do a lot of communications via online as well as manage the operations smoothly.
But of course there are still a lot of blue collar jobs that need physical presence as well as laboratory works. We can a lot can benefit from digital technology but we can't totally eradicate physical jobs.

I'm one of those who have a online jobs before the pandemic and I will say that it there will be advantage and disadvantage. But when pandemic sets in, that's why I did appreciate my job not going out because of that situation.

And so I continue to do with that and I'm lucky that my boss really did take care of us and up to now I have been working for them for many years. We even did have a meet up here in our country after the pandemic and he really appreciate all his employees and we do to. So yes, this could be the future or we are already on that global employment for all we know.

Traveling that takes hours from going work to going home takes a lot of time, energy and mental health. Companies that has flexible works, computer based should be done on home based or hybrid setup already. It will solve the problem for what traditional business do like operational cost on office based, equipments, etc.

Thanks to the Internet, the world is now a fistful of people. It is very easy to know the news from one end of the world to the other. Thanks to the Internet, employment for many unemployed people is becoming easier. Except for blue-collar jobs, people can do the jobs that exist independently from home. Therefore, the jobs that are being created online these days have a better future and sustainability. I would say yes, online jobs create a better future for us, and undeniably that alone is the future of global employment. The world is changing in the best way possible, developing the most effective means of technology that all of us will greatly benefit. However, not all of us would want it that way because majority would still want the traditional way, working by going on their physical workplace, but having this great option working remotely creates bigger opportunities as well to those who love technology and are tech-savvy. And the fact that we get to manage our own time by sticking on online jobs.

Yes I agree there are many people in favor of online jobs since they can work on their devices everywhere they are as long as there is an internet connect but the cons of this are those not tech savvy people where it will be hard for them to adapt since they are not really exposed or knowledgeable to technologies. but we have our own preferences on how we want to work but I think it is better if we slowly adapt to the changes so that we can cope up and not left behind.

Physical work is certainly a job that cannot be eliminated, for example, like taxi services. Although this is facilitated by online ordering, the work process is still physical. However, with the current development of the internet, which has indeed made many things easier, including my work, I feel very helped because with this, I can work from home without having to go to the office. Mentally guys choose different professions because of their different thinking. Even in terms of skills there are differences. Special situations teach you to think about a subject differently, as we have seen during COVID. The expansion of technology makes life easier where a lot of guys were needed for a project it is possible to do it in a very short time with the use of modern equipment. Along with saving money on projects the work is being completed in less time.

Online jobs are great opportunities for guys with special skills but due to this the fear of unemployment of semi skilled and unskilled guys and one of the reasons for increasing poverty can be. The online jobs have also lessoned pressure on governments to create job opportunities for it's people. These days students of high school, colleges and universities are studying and doing online job to support themselves and their families. I don't think it's possible to cover a general scale because some jobs require direct human labor so we can say that online work only applies to certain sectors.
It's possible that some jobs performed online will become a trigger for global employment due to their various advantages and potentially much lower operational costs.
Technology does provide some conveniences that people can access, although I believe not all of them can handle issues that require direct human labor.

Yes, thanks to the internet people can do the job remotely especially those job that can be done through the use of computer.

We are suggesting this to my boss during pre pandemic since my job is detailing using a software on computer while I spend all my office hours with the computer and send the output through email on our clients  but I never got the approval but during the pandemic this became possible. Many think it’s not possible until we tried it.

Until now we are on this setup half our schedule every week since our company save electricity for doing this while as an employee I love working at home with my family. I believe this is the future of job since we can focus on work and at the same time spend more quality time to family due to no traffic at all.

With how massive online job offers today, I don't think it has limited to a "few" existing job sectors. In fact, it's constantly growing, as business minded people tends to innovate not just in the aspect of how they get cuts from the product costs, but with manpower costs as well. Although there are business models that still necessary needs physical labor, like the physical stores, restaurants, and malls - but I'm willing to a bet that part of their employees/staff can still fully function even working from home online. Therefore, I don't think online jobs are limited to just few sectors, but it is in fact applicable to any type of jobs.

You're right in this regard, because people are overly enthusiastic and romanticizing the sophistication of AI in an attempt to eliminate human roles in the workplace, which subconsciously creates fear of what might happen in the future. In areas where human resources are inadequate, this isn't quite as relevant because humans aren't yet accustomed to dealing with this type of work system. Companies may find loopholes to keep work more coordinated and less expensive, but this also requires human input, as not all work can be completed online.

Also, not all employees enjoy working with this system, so some adjustments are necessary. No one knows how this will play out in the future, as our job isn't to predict the future but to adapt to meet any challenges that arise. Technology is indeed advancing, but if human resources are limited, this won't work well, as it will be quite difficult to keep up.
