I assume it’s a fixed scenario, AJ will jab Paul lightly and go the distance with him as pre agreed. Paul will then claim, after losing on points that he has shown he can box with the best.

Seriously, these type of ‘fights’ cheapen the sport. I’m sure they’ll both get a nice pay day and casual boxing fans will enjoy the show but if Jake Paul fought a pro heavyweight at their peak, Jake Paul would be in hospital. If AJ 100% unloaded a clean shot, Paul would be seriously hurt. That’s how I know these fights are BS.

Not sure if this has been posted, but I saw this article and it looks like Jake Paul's team wants Anthony Joshua to only weigh 245lbs during the weigh in, as they need Joshua to "have some disadvantage". Not sure why they worded it as a "disadvantage", but I'm guessing 245lbs is way below Joshua's usual weight.

Im sorry but if you watched some of them especially against Julio Cesar who has a potential to put Jake Paul to sleep but he suddenly forgot to punch, it was like that he signed a contract to do 4 punches per round during that match.

you should think that those matches are rigged to favor Jake Paul because he has a history of scamming people and he needs a record to be undefeated so that it will hook people to watch more of his matches.

Fans didn't love what they see in that fight since many expect that unexperienced Paul will be an easy opponent for Julio Cesar. But result shows differently and fans didn't like how the fight end up, it stirs up some thoughts that Chavez is he's not exerting any effort in that fight since its like the match is rigged then they are favoring Paul to win that fight.

I don't know if same situation will happen, but let see if Joshua will play lame and looks like forget how to punch then that is another clear indication that they are doing something so that the fight will always end up in favor with Jake Paul.

I haven't found a definitive answer online whether this is a professional fight for the belt or just an exhibition, but I think if this fight is serious, Anthony Joshua will win easily. As is known, he is a former world champion, has experience fighting at a high level and his technique is certainly honed. In contrast Jake Paul his ability is still at the average level of boxing, but if this fight actually happens, I can't imagine how much profit there will be.

I saw footage of Jake sparring with some big guys to get ready for Joshua and he was doing a great job. There’s a big difference between tall boxers and one of the best though. I still think Jake gets knocked out, but I have to admit this is probably the most anticipated fight he’s had yet. If he did win by some miracle, it would be legendary.

I don't know if I can believe what they're saying in the press that the fight will be professional. Maybe it's just the journalists who are stirring up interest. Paul, he's a showman, his fights against big names have never been real. So is something really going to change now? If the fights were rigged, why Jake has lost to Tommy Fury? Or why did not he knock out all of his opponents? That would make him look more cool, and people would rush to pay to see him fight. I dont deny that there are special rules of what opponents can do against him. Anyway, if next fight he fights against guy who is from same weight class, has skill on same level, people would still say about rigged fight

However, for this Jake Paul's stuff, I honestly think it's just about the Benjamins – cash; nothing serious. It's going to be scripted. For AJ to have even agreed to it is, for me, condescending. What does he stand to benefit career wise fighting someone like Jake Paul who is way below him, if not for cash? AJ has everything to lose if the fight goes awry, honestly. I guess depends on the flow of the fight since if we can see that Joshua will not punch heavily and try to avoid hitting Paul so hard then suddenly all favors will come for Paul then with these scenarios we can provably say that this game is scripted and as always they are favoring Paul to win this fight again.

Yeah, same as what we can said about Anthony Joshua too, he knows that he might not have years in his boxing career, we've seen him getting knockout and although he was able to comeback again and again, sooner or later those wear and tear will put a toll on his body. So before that thing happens, then it's good for him to fight Jake Paul to have another huge paycheck that will settle him for the rest of his life. Maybe just one legacy fight, the biggest of them all, a all British showdown with Tyson Fury and that could be his last fight and again, that could really be huge money for both. Jake wins = fight scripted and everyone hates Jake. Jake loses = he suck at boxing and people would trash him with double effort (even though his opponent is on higher level than Jake). Draw = fight is scripted and everyone still hates Jake.

I really wish to know what motivated AJ to sign that contract. It is too early for him to turn into boxer who sells his record. But, there is a little chance that AJ has focused on earning money than on boxing, fame and reputation. I think like that because now he is having a "professional" fight. Ngannou thought he was already a heavyweight champion when he almost beat Fury. He probably felt that fighting someone inferior to Fury would give him the recognition if he won. But unfortunately for him, he didn’t get what he expected. The fight ended in a KO, and that was basically the end of his boxing career.

So just think about it… if AJ was able to beat a monster like Ngannou, how much more a YouTuber like Jake Paul.

Yes, unarguably, that fight discouraged Francis from whatever boxing ambition he had. In one of his interviews he said he blacked out from that KO punch he received from AJ 😂. In his words, he said he didn't feel any pain when he was punched and that was when he knew it was over for him in the ring. For him to know he could continue, he should've felt pain.

It's not even a question of if. It's a question of whether the bout will be scripted or not. I'm sure if we go through all comments here, we will discover that almost all, if not all, agree with the fact that Jake Paul isn't a competition for AJ.
