If you used the standard swap mode and your transaction is flagged as high-risk, your transaction status will change to CONTACT_SUPPORT; clicking on it will display all the ways you can contact us.
Let's say if someone's transaction gets flagged as high-risk and they need to contact the support team then during contact what type of details they may need to provide in order to get their transaction completed? Do they have to submit KYC details or personal details and proof of payments or something like that to get their swap completed or something else?

Q: What if I don't know whether my coins are high risk?

A: If you don't know or are undecided, you can use Standard swap mode. If we detect big AML score or strange connections, we will give you information to contact support. After contacting support, you will have to confirm that you agree to an additional fee for processing the transaction. If you do not agree, you will receive a refund to the provided address.

No KYC/KYB or whatever you can imagine is needed for that action.

Privacy is not a crime.

That's a useful reply, so a user doesn't have to need any KYC thing and that matters a lot to privacy lovers. If I'm not wrong then most people will prefer to pay extra fee to proceed the transaction instead of getting a refund if something like that happens. Again, it's better to test AML first before sending coins.

If you are using our AML mode, there is no need to contact support.

If you used the standard swap mode and your transaction is flagged as high-risk, your transaction status will change to CONTACT_SUPPORT; clicking on it will display all the ways you can contact us.

If you do not contact us within 72 hours, the transaction will be automatically refunded to the address from which the coins were sent (Sometimes this doesn't happen when we determine that you may no longer have access to that wallet, for example, due to a lack of further activity.)
So, the user must check the order status in case of such a change.
Does this mean that every incoming transaction on Sageswap is AML checked? Regardless of whether the user chose regular or AML mode?
I am interested in how this works in reality, considering that I did not see any excessive delay during the swap process.
How often did such cases happen?

AML is not checked in AML Mode swap.

Quite often.

BTC to XMR exchanges in AML mode have been suspended.

The high volume of BTC transactions in this mode prevents us from processing them further; we will keep you updated!

BTC TO XMR WORKS WITHOUT ANY ISSUES IN NORMAL MODE.

the fuck is that even mean?

was there some major bitcoin related hack that we dont know about?

Why people do fraud?

Obviously, this refers to the Sageswap platform itself. There are numerous reasons why some functionality works normally, more slowly, or not at all.
So for example:
"The high volume of BTC transactions in this mode prevents us from processing them further" - The excessive number of orders with AML requests that they have on sageswap.io burdens them, so the execution of orders is somewhat slower because of this.
"BTC TO XMR WORKS WITHOUT ANY ISSUES IN NORMAL MODE." - BTC/XMR swap orders that do not have an AML (mode) check work at the normal speed for this exchange.

How did you interpret that they were talking about the Bitcoin network here?

They wrote that its about AML Mode, meaning a mode in which they DO NOT CHECK AML %, thats what their mode is called on their website

Im asking if there was some kind of hack on an exchange or something that caused so many bitcoins to flow through a mode where they DONT CHECK AML.

bcs if they cant process them, it must be a HUGE amount

i think they should change the name on the website, bcs its called AML Mode instead of NO AML Mode

This is exactly what you asked.  Huh

As I already said, there are many reasons for such a thing, among other things, it could be because the amount is huge.
Also, what do you think is easier to process for one instant exchange: one order worth $1 million or 10,000 orders worth $50 each?

The standard mode still works and that's the main option on Sageswap, AML was introduced for those who had coins with high AML, and that was the mode where they didn't manually checked any coins and swaps were completed without any issues even if coins were having high AML score. I know that mode isn't active anymore due to some internal reasons but still if someone wants to use their main swapping mode which's standard mode, they can still use that without any issues.
