I agree that money is the main or only factor that retain people to work for their boss. Speaking about benefits from point Nr. 2 - are good only when they are needed. For example as benefits in some companies they provide free lunch. Employee saves money, but how long that employee will be ready to eat lunch that repeats day after day? My company provide summer school for children (when government kindergarten isnt working during summer or children have summer holidays) - but not everyone has children. We have a relax room with sofa, tv, console, table tennis. Never been there, as I dont have time for it. A useless benefit for me.

Benefits alone can’t hold employees for long what companies call perks often sound good on paper but in reality they rarely meet everyone’s needs free meals childcare or game rooms are situational advantages not universal motivators when someone joins a company they might appreciate these small things but what truly makes them stay is respect fair pay and growth opportunities.

The biggest mistake managements make is assuming culture can be bought with superficial benefits when in fact retention is built on clarity recognition and trust employees stay where they feel valued and where their effort translates into progress. Benefits can complement that but they can’t replace it eventually the excitement of free lunches fades the novelty of a gaming room disappears and people start evaluating if their time and contributions are genuinely respected a strong salary flexible structure and career mobility will always outweigh those flashy extras.

I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.
Most firms get their employees through the process of internship where they allow the employee grow under them as an intern and then he get accepted to work with them afterwards. during the period, his character and disposition towards work is being properly looked into and it becomes easy to know if such a person is fit to work with you in your firm. in the long term, both the intern and the employee knows what they want and based on their quality and wether or not the intern sees that he has a future in that firm, the employer / employee relationship can easily be built that way.

With my experience in the corporate world and also with the friends and co-workers that I've talked. The most important to us is on how we're treated. If we're treated like disposable materials, we'll leave and resign asap upon knowing that we're like that in the eyes of the boss and their company. But if we're treated right, and they're very humane. There's no reason to leave them unless the cost of living doesn't suit anymore with the compensation that they're paying. And that's why there are very few reasons why an employee leaves and stays in a company. Otherwise, there goes the employees that are only gaining experience and then will hop onto another job for better rates.

Employers should treat their employees as partners, both the employer and the employees need to work in harmony to enable the growth of the esterblishment, when employees are not well treated, some will be forced to put up a resignation letter and look for a better esterblishment to work with.
As an employer, prioritize workers welfare and safety and they will work productively and promote the reputation of the company.

I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.
An entrepreneur needs workers to increase the speed of his activities. Every organization needs workers to run, and the size of the capital and production management of the organization should be coordinated with the recruitment of workers. If you are an entrepreneur, employ skilled workers. Prepare a budget of the company's income and expenses and determine the number of employees and their salaries in that context.

Coordinate semi-skilled workers with low wages with skilled workers because your company will need workers at every level to increase the amount of profit with its production costs. A company owner should be sympathetic to the workers and be by their side in their advantages and disadvantages. Evaluate the workers who work most of the day for the betterment of your organization. Increase the salary every year based on the qualifications of the employees. Apply appropriate strategies to develop relationships with them, only then will they be interested in your organization.

Providing a good working environment should be one of the major things employers should do but the case of becoming partners with their employees is not going to be possible because they think that could lead to damages to the company if they allow their workers to get too comfortable and free with them. If workers are well treated they have more reason to work with happiness and if there is peace, love and respect in the working environment everyone working will be willing to work even when the work appears difficult.

The safety of every worker should be considered as more important than money because an environment where he hazard is much more than safety workers will be afraid to work.

You asked a question on when an entrepreneur should need an employee and right ways to retain them. Definitely when an entrepreneur cannot run his business alone and needs helping hands, that’s when employees come in.

These are also right ways to retain them
1. A fair monthly salary
2. Provide other benefits/compensations for them like performance bonuses,HMO, overtime pay etc
3.Create flexible work schedules
4. Create opportunities for growth
5. Support and encourage employees
6. Create a good and friendly relationship with employees

I believe with these ways one can retain employees. Employers should always learn how to treat employees right, so as to keep them for a longer period and it also helps gives the company a good reputation.
Good point, buddy. What I'm thinking about is point number two, that not all jobs provide benefits or compensation for their employees because it may not be mandatory, or because the company has its own reasons for not providing these things.

And the main thing, in my opinion, is salary. Sometimes someone will leave their job because they receive a higher salary offer, even though they were comfortable in their previous job. But sometimes, due to needs that must be met and desires, they may take a job offer with a higher salary.
Yes you are right also but I believe providing other benefits and compensations for employees apart from monthly salary, goes a long way. With my understanding, I know there are some organizations that make their employees work overtime and even extra days and they are not being compensated for it, which is bad. So I believe this other benefit and compensations boost employees to be more productive, willing to work, remain focused and dedicated.

To retain employees in a company, salaries must be paid on time. The fixed salary must be paid and can never be less than that salary. If an owner considers these aspects of his employees well, then I think there will be no difficulty in retaining employees in a company. Moreover, if the employee has a good relationship with the owner, then the employees are satisfied with the owner. In many companies, it is seen that the owner treats the employees very badly, due to which the employees are not satisfied even after paying them fair salary. That is why I think the owner of every company should maintain a good relationship with the employees and should pay the employees on time and there should be a bonus system once or twice a year, which attracts the employees more.

Drar the roles of employees can never be over emphasized
Treat them like they are the boss, dont just make them feel you brought  them to just do the work, maje them feel so important , always be polite with them, some times ask them to make meaning contributions, seek their opion in decision  making, even when you dont need it, i. All, you can use 48 laws of power in a good way to be at the top 😉

Those kind of companies and businesses needed to be reported so that they know the labor laws of their countries.

But I think in the part of agreement by employee-employer, it has to be talked. If both agreed that they'll get on a duty during some extra days because of how many customers are there.

It can be agreed upon. Although not being compensated is a violation not only to the law but also to the employee.

From the point of view of needs, of course, providing compensation or benefits can make employees happy, and maybe even very useful, especially if it can help them.

Not a few I found some people in my neighborhood who are grateful for the job he has because it provides compensation or benefits. The impact really helps employees. So indeed the existence of compensation or benefits is one of the reasons employees can feel at home working.

That is the most effective way, but only if the business we run gains significant or consistent profits so that we can provide compensation or benefits to employees; otherwise, it cannot be done. Therefore, I think it should not necessarily be the first option for retaining employees because there are many other ways to do so without having to wait for something to happen before implementing them, such as having clear rules and a comfortable work environment.

There are many ways to retain workers in a company, especially if the company's shareholders do not treat the workers well, the workers cannot survive in that company and the mentality of the workers gradually becomes hostile towards the company.
By paying wages on time and occasionally giving various festive allowances and bonuses, workers learn to express loyalty to the company.
If the company puts extra pressure on the workers and does not pay them on time, the workers do not pay attention to the work properly. Again, if entertainment can be arranged for the workers from time to time, then the workers are definitely responsible towards the company. As an entrepreneur, you have to observe the situation whether the workers will remain in a company or not and work in their interests, otherwise the workers will distrust the company.

Not a few I found some people in my neighborhood who are grateful for the job he has because it provides compensation or benefits. The impact really helps employees. So indeed the existence of compensation or benefits is one of the reasons employees can feel at home working.

Well, that's one of the factors that can make an employee stay, but it's not the main reason, and I'm pretty sure of it because I have faced the same thing in my corporate career. The most important thing for an employee is mental peace in the workplace, which can only be gained if the employer is good with the employee. If you have a boss or a manager who isn't generally a good person, you will have a very hard time working at that place, because you won't feel relaxed at any time, and this will also affect your work since you can only work effortlessly if your mind is at peace.

So, some people might give priority to the financial factor, and they might stay even if they are not being treated well but getting good money for the job, but most people would eventually get fed up if they are not treated well, and they won't stay very long even if they are getting good money and compensations as well, because mental peace is very important. If you are always thinking about what might happen today, or you are always worried that you don't mess up because your employer won't leave a single opportunity to disrespect you, then you won't be able to work.

A good salary is must to retain your workers. If company is not providing any extra benefit and still want to retain its employees then the salary must be attractive. If we talk about extra benefits then free lunch is not an extra benefit but complete medical insurance of whole family, house rent allowance are things that can be considered as an extra benefits. Companies that are providing decent salary with extra benefits have more chances of retaining their workers.

I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.

I would suggest paying your employees a bit more than they could get on a similar job in your area. And it shouldn't necessarily be higher wages. Just provide them with free coffee and a biscuit during their coffee break, allow them to work shorter on Fridays or through them a bonus once in a while. If you want to keep them interested in your company by just saying some words of encouragement, you won't succeed.

I believe that the best way to treat your employees and get them to give in their very best to work for you is to respect and pay them well the way you treat people who work for you is the way they will treat your customers and clients. So in essence your employees are your first priority before your customers because it is them that will be attending to the customers, if they fail in their duties it means that you have also failed. Aside from treating your employees right you should also pay them well, if you appreciate your employees with respect and payment they will feel like a part of your company.

Why do you need creative and abstract ideas?  Why not simple?  Pay them well and dont be a nightmare to work for.  People work for a paycheck, not your "vision."  If you want them to care about your company as much as you do, give them something in return.
Well, paying them might not be the only way to retain good employees, there is also manner of approach as well, if you are a rude boss  it does not matter if you pay well and promptly those that work for for you genuinely would stop working for you. it's not all about the money, if you don't showcase a good character towards your employees they will definitely go to where they are valued, what I'm saying is out of experience. people always go to where they are valued and respected, the money is important but that's not everything

That's true too, because I myself also observed from personal experience and from information I got outside, such as from workers in different companies, some of whom did get benefits and some of whom did not. But I think benefits like this mostly only apply to large companies, for ordinary shops it doesn't seem to apply, unless the income is stable and the boss really pays attention to his employees. I myself have worked in an ordinary shop but I got the allowance because I saw and assessed that the boss was really good.
