I think the culture might play a role in the discussions we have been seeing. $5 to 1 culture might mean nothing, but the same $5 might mean a weeks worth of groceries to another so the 2 cultures losing $5 have totally different perspectives.

Add that factor in with the need to meet gambling post quotas and we see tons of regenerated topics with the same replies from users over and over and over again. It's easy to come up with some bs story, or talk about addiction 100 different ways, or ask a question about this n that. Just rinse n repeat stuff. We see a few positive topics but its 20-1 ratio bad to good.

Although I live in religious society that forbids gambling, it has become increasingly widespread recently, either due to poverty, as people believe gambling can lift them out of it, or due to greed, as some believe it can make them rich.

There's a lot of social and religious conflict surrounding gambling, casinos, and sports betting. That's something that's respected, and honestly, I don't focus on getting into those topics , We're adults we know what's good and bad For me, gambling isn't bad if it's done responsibly, but that's just my way of thinking. You don't say good about gambling when you are not winning so it is possible that people who has been saying all kinds of shit about gambling has been making loss and sometimes you don't have to first take it as a source of income before you will start saying things about gambling, there are situation you will find yourself you definitely say shit about gambling. Let's imagine a scanerio where a game holding your ticket to win a huge amount of money, dude even though you play with what you can afford to lose if you lost the ticket peradventurely there is no way you won't be mad.

Why people are not longer saying good about gambling is the way many are now doing it right ,and secondly it has favour many but many are still not interested due to how it has frustrated many so many has been saying bad against those that do gambling,so to me I will not encourage children to gamble because it's very bad for them to be exposed in gambling,but adult can , because they can bear the pains that comes out from it.

People now see gambling as being destructive to lives, since nowadays gamblers now gamble for money instead of fun that ends them up being an addict then leads to rehab mainly the youths looking for short cut to wealth, but back in the days gambling was not crowded with youths but adults with matured minds that can withstand the losses and pressure from gambling .

I can see the real gambling mind from the statement you made above. Gambling is to cooling your head? Lolz. I have also heard from neighbours saying, if not gambling, things wouldn't be easy for them in the society. Gambling has helped them in to survive. That's the problem, they did not prepare themselves for the losing part. It goes two ways, and if we are not ready for the different outcomes, then we might as well not gamble at all.

This is why gambling have more pessimistic view in this era. Since it's easy to access, more families are ruined because of a gambler's inability to control himself. Then, some steal just to fill their urge to gamble more, which means jail time if they get caught. All that bad news regarding people who gambled and made a mistake is out there, either on social media or the mainstream media.
So, it won't get even a small optimistic view, even if there are people whose lives changed because of gambling.
