I'll make some adjustments this evening, especially the feedback you've given. Thanks again.
For starters, it works! Some key points... 1. English post titles are ok, it's mostly emoji and local language that shows broken random texts. 2. Right now, only direct quote and merit works! 3. @ or simply writting usernames has no effect. Or at least I didn't notice.
Btw, any of you feeling a bit slowness with Bitcointalk today? From my end, the pages keeps loading for many seconds (not seeing the usual instant load). And when I open multiple pages at the same time, the loading time increasses even more. It should now also handle mentions with or without @ UPDATE It should now display all post titles correctly. Or rather, the ones I received as notifications have been fixed.

So far nobody used @ or Username for me, so I can't give any feedbacks on this. Only seen quote and merit. The post titles are in correct order now. Btw, what happens when someone quotes, uses @ and username, all 3 at the same time? Do we get 3 seperate notifications? Or there is a priority set somewhere? Quote > @ > Ussername. And lastly, how many notifications will the viewbar hold until it starts disappearing? Any specific number? Or is it infinte? I have 12 as of this moment.

We can test the truth @DYING_SOUL
In theory, it only notifies you once and should use the first criterion it encounters to notify you. But in reality, I haven't been able to get any test examples yet. The tooltip should stop at 50 notifications as the maximum limit, but I was thinking of showing unread notifications instead and creating a notifications page in profiles. I don't know yet, I have to think about it carefully.

The truth is, you wrote SOUL with alphabate O, mine is number 0. So obviously, I didn't get it. Lmao. Maybe you could add separate sections for Read, Unread, and Merit notifications (with a max limit of 50, per group)? And when users click "mark as read", it moves from "Unread" to "Read" group, automatically starts disappearing after hitting the limit (from oldest to newest). How does that sounds? Testing DYING_S0UL - NOPE, self mention without @ don't work, maybe with @ it'll work, just a theory.

As a user of the Telegram notification bot by tryninja, I think here the main feature is speed. I think I have space only for a notification mechanism, and speed will be the reason of choice.

Speed will undoubtedly have a better impact on users' choices, and unfortunately the Tryninja bot is very fast, I can't compete. I am also a user who uses the Tryninja bot, but I am often connected to the company PC on which I do not have Telegram installed, It becomes a bit harmful to use two devices to check a post or Merit notification if I'm connected to the PC. This is where my idea for userscript notifications came from, to have the convenience of reading them with the device I'm using at the time. It wasn't created to dethrone Tryninja's super notifier bot.

What I mean is that in these kind of services, accuracy and speed are what it matter the most, in my opinion, rather than features or appearance. Anyhow this is top notch work *Ace*

However, it requires always having your site open and checking it every now and then. @fillippone I agree with you, but I want to reiterate one thing: I can't compete against Tryninja. He has years of experience and better skills than me. I'm a newbie, but I'm looking for convenience and the userscript with notifications reflects my idea. It will definitely need a hammer blow every now and then, but it works! Look at it as an ugly but functional "accrocco"

*Ace* I see we now have visible flag with country in our profiles when using BRDb userscript, and I love it. I am not sure if this is always precise but it gives me a bit more useful information about every member. More testing will be performed on my side, and I will report if I notice any bugs. It is great that I can jump to each local board when I click on country flag/name.

Surely someone will have the wrong localboard flag, but they will only have it if the post counts are similar on two localboards. For many users, you will not see the flag because they do not reach the minimum count to get the badge. Others probably don't have a real localboard and post occasionally on various localboards that one day may appear as German, another day French or Spanish. It will be difficult to find a right compromise

But I strongly believe, Bitcointalk is his home. Give him a BTC Flag! Will ya? Bcoz at the end of the day, he is the Golden Feather of this forum!
Btw, I don't see any flags at all. I can only see their initials! Why is that? I'm on version 1.2.9. Yeah even after disabling Brave browsers shield, (which i thought might blocked it), it didn't go away!

Yeah even after disabling Brave browsers shield, (which i thought might blocked it), it didn't go away! Very strange! The flag emoji appears on every device I've used. I don't think it's a userscript issue; it's more likely a browser rendering issue.I'll investigate, at most I'll remove the emojis and insert the svgs that should be read by all browsers. It all seems a bit odd to me, though – if the flags don’t appear, the BRDb score star shouldn’t appear either. Hmmmm
