I think the first flag DeepSeek set was for the lesbian/gay community. It didn't seem appropriate, so I opted for a neutral flag since there's no other flag. Or if you have a suggestion, let me know and I'll add it right away.

It depends on which board you try to do an overview of. It takes a long time on Meta because it's very active. If you try it on Gambling, it takes even longer. The graph obviously has its limits, you need a mega screen to see it perfectly if there are many flows

 Grin  Grin  Grin

Nah, UN is good since other languages consist of many countries, at least it's better than lesbian/gay community!

I see, it must have pulled a lot of data, hence the delay! For the graph, maybe you can stretch the screen (point of view, add in more zoom in zoom out options), or make the gaps bigger between the nodes? With the current one, it's not really usable, but only good for its looks. You could possibly add other options to it, like when you click/hover on an user, it shows that persons specific connections/transactions, or even better, a search feature that will show results for each of those nodes. Sort of like how Arkham does.

Anyway, it's a low priority suggestion. You have already poured so much into this project. I don't think it's really necessary.

Most of the user data is there, apart from used/posted addresses!

It should already be doing this! If you click on a node, its interconnections should light up; if you drag it, the connected nodes will also drag along. Unfortunately on meta there are many Merit flows and therefore it is difficult to see it but if you try on a less crowded board you will see the difference and what I told you

Well, I can't find the merit web anywhere. I didn't find that option on the BRDB website or any user profile. Can you please tell me where I can see it?

Another thing, have your notifications been paused for some reason? Because the last notification I received was on October 29th and I haven't received any updates since then.

It's here (https://brdb.cc/board-overview), you need to select a board - click on apply - and then it'll show you the complete overview of that particular board (including the merit web), just scroll down a bit...you'll see.

Notifications is working just fine (from my end), the last one I recieved was on 31 oct, 23:47. Check your version, ace made a couple of version update in a short amount of time, ensure you are on the latest build. Should be 1.3.1 now and must use the "Install from brdb.cc" cause greasyfork's version wasn't updated yet.

Thanks, I got it. The Merit Flows Network is really great. It's very satisfying to move like jelly. It's a bit like an octopus. Grin

So, is this Merit Flows Network also for specific person/user? I searched but couldn't find it. If it was for specific people, that would be great to see.

Yes, now my notifications are working and I also received your reply notification from within the forum. Actually, after making the previous post, I clicked on Mark All Read and then I got this notification. Maybe there is a bug here, I don't know for sure, but I assumed it.

Notifications work, the only bug I found today concerns nested quote notifications. I need to fix that; currently, the scraper only checks the first quote it encounters. But if there's another quote inside a quote, the latter will be skipped. Possibly one of your posts was inside other quotes and you weren't notified.

*Ace* - so I'm still comfused about one thing. Will I get notified if someone just wrote my username without any "quotation" or "@"? The last I remember it should (u didn't clear it properly), but I just noticed it didn't! So what's the answer here?

I'm referring to this post where ico wrote my username, the other notifier bot was able to capture it, but it seems yours didn't.  Smiley

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The scraper only handled mentions containing * or @, for example *DYING_S0UL* or @DYING_S0UL, but it didn’t handle the ‘naked’ username, so just DYING_S0UL wasn’t picked up. It should work now, and you should also see the notification because I’ve tested it directly with your username. Let’s see if you receive any new notifications with the plain username over the next few days.

Good morning everyone! Yesterday I created a new userscript, which I still have to release publicly. I created a theme for Bitcointalk with a modern graphics rendering. It natively uses the brdb script, so the tooltip and notifications are already integrated into the theme. The theme was also inspired by that of masulum (I hope he doesn't get angry with me) I leave you a little screenshot, tell me your opinion

Hi Masulum, you did a great job integrating the BRDb score into your essay. My tool is freely accessible to everyone.  I'm just happy to hear that the Bitcointalk community liked my tool. You don't have to remove it; in fact, I'm curious to see your new updates.
Congratulations on what you've done for the forum.

I think I saw and tested this theme that was released recently in forum, as one of the best mobile friendly bitcointalk themes available at the moment.
So you plan to release completely different userscript, or you want to combine everything into one single userscript?

The theme is very similar to masulum's as mentioned before, the thread display and other things change, but overall they are very similar. The theme has already included the brdb score script and the notification center. I'm still designing it piece by piece at the moment, and maybe next week I'll release it as a preview to testers and then release it publicly to everyone.
I'm also planning a voting system, although I don't think it would be really useful if the script will only be used by a few users. I was considering a system like Reddit's with karma+ and karma-. I'll evaluate it this week without revealing too much about the voting system.

thank you for your permission, but after trying to implement for the last 2 days on my test script, but i don't know just like i found something that maybe need to be improve. may asked from you that maybe possible to be include on your API such as
- A single endpoint that returns both the flag and the score per user to reduce the load on the API? Or perhaps a
- batch endpoint, so multiple users can be retrieved in a single request.

but i'm still thinking about something else right now, how to solve this issue

You're absolutely right, I should simplify the endpoints because they're a mess for me too sometimes. And since I create them one at a time and insert them wherever I need them at that moment, sometimes without keeping a real logical thread, I still have a lot to learn, unfortunately.

I'm not sure what solution you found, but if it works, that's fine Smiley

Who wants to apply to be a tester for the Bitcointalk brdb theme? I'll warn you right away that this is a beta version. Some things don't work, like the settings, and other details need to be ironed out. You will find texts in Italian (it needs to be translated but they are understandable (learn Italian xD)) What I'm most interested in is the notification center, the BRDb tooltip, and the +Merit button tooltip.

To anyone who applies, I will send the link privately.

Sup *Ace*, I got something, 'info' under 'Reputation' says, "...Historical users can exceed 100 or 200' — meanwhile, PowerGlove who registered in 2022 (which doesn't look, historic, does it?) has score of 213.7 as of now. I mean to say, infographic statement feels kinda wrong, doesn't it?

Also, do you think trust feedbacks should count in BRDb score and/or in reputational score (however that may work)?

In my opinion, it's not wrong; it's a conditional, not a rule. The text is purely indicative, and being a longtime user doesn't necessarily mean a score in the 100-200 range. everything always depends on posts written and Merit received, a high average of Merit received per posts written gives a fairly high reputation score. And if we analyze PowerGlove more closely, I'd say the formula works pretty well. I might remove that text, however, if it leads to a misunderstanding. As for the feedback, I don't know if it's possible to recover them without having to continuously fetch everyone's profiles, so I've never considered them as data to be used, even though they might actually be useful

I'm not sure what solution you found, but if it works, that's fine Smiley
So basically, I created a Cloudflare Workers to store the results of scraped data stats:

Flag from brdb
Score from brdb
Score from posts flayer
Rank from BPIP
Sigban info from Bitcointalk
120D Merit earned from Bitcointalk

All this data is sent to Cloudflare by the first person who using my theme. after data being scraped, the result is returned to the user as a badge. Of course, the first person who submits a profile to the Worker will experience the badge a few seconds slower. However, the second person who viewed the same thread and same pages, and profile is already cached in Cloudflare, he will get the badge faster. Because this is based on the page opened by the user, and the Worker will automatically update the data periodically, this system scraping profiles from BPIP, Postsflayer, BRDb and bitcointalk and submitted to the database. So as long as this Worker does not exceed the request limit, it should be able to store cached data for users, so they get stats badges faster.

of course if there any more simple data API for this stats i will move from this way  Grin

OK, Cloudflare's worker is a good compromise, but it has limits on requests. You'd better spread them out over 24 hours, or they'll block your requests.

Update

Not long ago, Filippone raised a problem with notifications and reception speed. My scraper was slow; a complete cycle took about 4 minutes to avoid an IP ban. Loycev and Tryninja's scrapers were like Ferraris and Lamborghinis compared to my Fiat 500 xD
Today I tuned my car's engine, so the scraper now takes an average of 70 seconds to do a full cycle , I'm not at the speed of our friends Loycev and Tryninja but now I'm almost at the same pace.

To give you a better idea, I created a gif Smiley

Who wants to apply to be a tester for the Bitcointalk brdb theme? I'll warn you right away that this is a beta version. Some things don't work, like the settings, and other details need to be ironed out. You will find texts in Italian (it needs to be translated but they are understandable (learn Italian xD)) What I'm most interested in is the notification center, the BRDb tooltip, and the +Merit button tooltip.

To anyone who applies, I will send the link privately.

So where is the download link? Where is the damn link?  Roll Eyes
