I can't even say if I have being unprofitable streak so far but what I can remember is that I have been making profits a losing staked bets for many years so far. If we can be keeping account of our bets, at least this will help us to know if we have been in profits or loses so far.
I have reduced the way I gamble these days to focus on other things and reserve my funds for investments.

Your argument on the existence of gambling results was accurate. The gamblers do have their good times and bad times when it comes to gamblers winning and losing, however, in the long run the gamblers who continue to lose outnumber the winners. Most gamblers believe that they are winning some form of gamble just because they won a few times in the recent past without looking at their entire history of gambling. Provided that a person closely examines the history of his/her bets and total balance, the actual picture will be more evident. A few serious and tactical gamblers only remain profitable in the long run. Gambling is not a sure source of income nor an effective method of entertainment to most of them.

This question that you asked yourself may not be answered directly by anyone, because no one wants to reveal their own portfolio. However, even if I don't answer directly, I can give you an idea in my case.

I have won a good amount of money by gambling and also lost it. If you calculate it, you will see that I am at the break even point, if I win a very good amount one day, then it will be seen that at some point I have lost that amount. The time that has passed in between is what I consider Fun.

But the amount I get after winning is definitely useful to me. So I would say that gambling is not just for fun, it can sometimes help you financially if you know how to manage it properly.

Making profit has to be the most happiest moment for a gambler especially after hitting a big win but the thing is, most gamblers get excited after winning but they forget that they have lost more than what they won or probably might even lose more after winning.
