Winning is hard, why not quit?

It is mixed joy when we're winning and losing. You don't quit because you are doing it for some specific reasons like having fun and you're not bothered to lose some money in it because it looks you're paying to that happiness you're getting from it. But don't take it as a mistake from me because it's no fun when we lose, we all want to win, enjoy and have some money. But you get what you want when you gamble and there's always a limit for that. We don't get to win everyday but losing is happening more that we have to lessen when it's noticeable that's reducing that much money on us.

Anyone who is seeing gambling as a source to make money that person is going to give its self in poverty lane, gambling already is one the factors that contribute for some people to be poor, so if you dont gamble with wisdom and understanding, gambling will make you not to understand the part that will lead you to success, so it's not good to hope on gambling because it's a something that happens by luck, but I don't know why people are seeing gambling as a source of income

There's no doubt about it, when we focus too much on the game it's not wise, there's always something that can go wrong and everything goes down the path we least want to take, that's why what we're looking for should only be for entertainment, to try to win and if we don't succeed we must accept that the objective wasn't achieved, the casino was never a source of income, it will never be something that can generate money for us safely, it's all luck.

What really made me create this thread is because I still can't figure out why people who lose often can't quite gambling or take a break even when they know that they can't win to recover their money.

It comes down to how positively or negatively gambling might have impacted your life. Some people end up quitting when they realise that since the time they had been gambling they just haven't seen anything tangible from it.its even a better decision that most people fail to make at a very early stage. You shouldn't be gambling when you have little or no money to risk. That's why most people end up being frustrated. They have little money that should be put into good use, but hope that luck plays to their side and double it some how.unfortunately, it's usually end up in losses..

When you see that you are in a situation where there is no actual payback, the best thing to do is to Anneal. I think it's pretty obvious why losing gamblers simply just don't say to themselves "ok enough is enough, I am done gambling."
It's a lot more difficult to stop something you're addicted to then many may think.
Thankfully, I don't fall into this category but I do feel a certain way for those who are not able to stop.

There are many who do not give up gambling even though they lose regularly. There are also many experienced gamblers who, after gambling for a long time, see that they are not in a profitable position, but still continue to gamble. In their case, the amount of the bet is slightly less. As a result, they can continue to gamble for a long time. One reason why they always fall back even when they decide not to is because they are going about it the wrong way, you cannot just quit gambling easily. The first step to quitting is to reduce the rate at which you gamble, you can start by cutting down the time you spend and also you can reduce the amount of money you stake as well, gradually you would notice some changes

I was about writing about how this feels like a sign of addiction but then I reread your post and realized that you said “leisure time”.

If a gambler is genuinely about to play and have fun without being too attached to their money then, I don’t really think it’s a bad thing for them not to quit despite not winning. It’s only when the gambler starts playing to win back their loses and then disguise it as “playing for fun” that’s only when I’d advice them taking a break since more losses would just worsen their situation.

The thing with sports betting is that no matter how obvious the outcome might seem at the beginning the game is being played by humans meaning that there will always be room for human induced error and because of this predictions can never be 100% guaranteed regardless of how good they are, we know we might win and we also know that there is a chance that we won't, that uncertainty makes the game exciting in a way and sometimes that excitement is all we get and we are still okay with that because we knew from the start that winning was never guaranteed.
