Exactly, Gambling is a very unstable way of being a side hustle to a person or something someone can depend on.  Alot of people who luckily win Massively from gambling don't often use the money for something important instead on irrelevant things, why? Because gambling isn't something they had a lot of effort into, it's just free money. Funny thing is that it is easy to lose that Money back especially when greed filled their eyes. A steady side income, even if it is small, gives more peace of mind. At least you know what to expect. Gambling is just to earn bonus cash, nothing like side hustle in it, it's just made for entertainment.
Yea most times the profits made from gambling are immediately put into use or spent. The idea is you can sustain any part of your life using gambling. That because winning comes once in a while. There's no guarantee that your next bet is going to give you wins. So it's better not to put hopes on it. I won't be surprised that some people do make plans for unrealised wins. They purchase items on credit hoping to use their wins to pay back. They are only putting their selfs at risk. Gambling should always be seen as a mean to have fun and not until you make the wins, don't plan for it..

I won't be surprised that some people do make plans for unrealised wins. They purchase items on credit hoping to use their wins to pay back. They are only putting their selfs at risk.

This is often subject to certain instances and it’s often about those reckless gamblers that become all too confident due to certain team performance, presiding outcome and the timing on the game.

Gamblers that ends up making purchases even before the game is won often get roped in this kind of habit when they find their prediction in play and has very few minutes to the final whistle. It always feels inevitable that, the bet is won but, being a gambler, you ought to know better that, a lot can happen in a twinkle. There are band to be mistakes that could lead to misfortune and ends you in debt.

It depends the way someone will think over it , gambling is a side hustle for many people why in some area is a full time job for many people that use it to build buy cars and marry and do many things together, but who loses in gambling doesn't know the importance in gambling because they loss all the time and never make a win ,so in this situation if you ask them if gambling is a side hustle they will criticize against it because they have been losing, then when you ask about those that win constantly you will see that they will shally reply well the way they are supposed to reply, so in conclusion gambling is a side hustle for some people and also a full time job for many.
When you are quoting, you can reduce the text and take only the area you want to quote. Cut all the other sentences. Well I don't know of full time job and I don't think people can take it in full time job but some country gamblers might take it like that, because some countries gamble more than the others But I know that it is a side hustle base on it nature.
That doesn’t make any sense. I still can’t wrap my head around how you believed base on nature of gambling, that gambling is a side hustle. What about gambling makes it a side hustle? You said in the OP that people are making money from gambling, and that’s true but the point is that gambling is not a sustainable source of income and can quickly become an unhealthy vice when treated as a primary/secondary job.

You are not making money from gambling does not mean other are not cashing out. We have different luck in gambling. From all the examples I have shown. I want to know your experience and opinion if gambling is a side hustle or not. I need general opinion on the argument.

I don’t really consider gambling a side hustle in any way, because a hustle is something you do to make money, not lose it. In gambling, the system is actually designed for you to lose in the long run, so there is a clear contradiction there. For sure, some people might win occasionally and even make money for a while, but that does not make it a reliable source of income. To me, it’s more of something or an activity use to entertain the brain, because you can’t depend on it consistently like you would with a real hustle.

The main point is that this side job is meant to make money, not lose it, and that’s true as you said, in gambling the risk of losing is greater, so losses will happen more often than wins, and that’s something no one can avoid, not even experienced gamblers; it doesn’t mean they can avoid the risk of losing. So, it makes more sense to view gambling as a form of entertainment, where the occasional wins are more like a bonus rather than income, because it’s uncertain when they’ll come and how much they’ll be—everything happens randomly. What everyone who gambles must understand is that winning is random.

Yes, which can even lead them into being bankrupt, which can also affect their future. So, the best thing to do is to just make sure they fully understand what gambling is really made for, so that they won't have any misconceptions about it and later end up regretting their actions. Which is why if they have the full awareness of gambling, they can be able to prevent and stay away from gambling recklessly, which won't produce any good results.
What makes an addict addicted is gambling without control and losing it every time they gamble, in addition to seeing gambling as a secondary activity and probably as an activity where they can see supposed gains or income because they do it for that reason and to prove that they are right, that's why gambling is an option, but as a secondary activity, perhaps a secondary activity of fun, but a fun that can be dangerous if they do not control the money.

I do concur with the argument that gambling cannot actually be viewed as a side hustle. A side hustle is a source of consistent and somewhat predictable revenue whereas gambling is mostly hinged on the possibility and is aimed at massive losses in the long run. As much as there are people who might win and even make a profit over a certain time, those are not sustainable and dependable. The risks, in the long-run, are always greater than the rewards. To me, gambling can be discussed as a form of entertainment, and any gains should be perceived as a bonus instead of a continuous flow of money.

Gaming as a side hustle is a bad financial decisions, players who find it to be an extra stream of income could be harming the financial structure of the other business they're into, thereby faltering the expected growth of the business. Gambling shouldn't be an extended industry for making money, gamers shouldn't see that route as a possible means of saving a business, it's something that could bring down the success of a certain business related to the player.
It shouldn't be a choice to make in the first place, people has to understand that there is no gain in taking gambling to be a side hustle, which one can't tell how many losses they have to undergo before they can be lucky to win, which they are not sure if its going to be a big win. Though its a risky move and a risky game which people are aware of it. However, people should make proper consideration and understand what gambling is truly is before sticking to their decision of treating it to be a side hustle.

Although I can see the fear that is expressed, I believe the problem is more of an attitude than the action. Gambling is dangerous when individuals use it as a sure source of income or look upon it to use it to subsidize other businesses. It is not a very stable, consistent, and predictable side hustle as these would be crucial in financial growth. No insurance of an income, only a danger unlike the conventional side hustles. Any person who contemplates it ought to be well aware that losses are prevalent than wins. It is more of a controlled spending entertainment rather than a revenue-generating or maintaining strategy, particularly when money is at stake.

This is actually funny, why on earth will someone make gambling a hobby I mean that is insane because it is the same thing as looking for destruction. There are people today who are regretting why they started gambling because they are so into it that they can not do without it and it's not like they are winning steady no, most of them are running in loss and still some people are trying to make such thing a hobby perhaps they don't know what they are wishing for.
I don’t think gambling is any safer if it’s treated as a hobby, because if that’s the case, it can spiral out of control there’s nothing better than simply viewing it as a form of entertainment.

Treating gambling as a hobby seems just as bad as treating it as a source of income, but the unintended consequence and what will inevitably happen is ruin, just as you said.

To me, gambling can be discussed as a form of entertainment, and any gains should be perceived as a bonus instead of a continuous flow of money.
It was never been made to be a side hustle in the first place but rather its being created for the sake of entertainment or leisure time. For those who had been treating this up to be a side hustle then they would be surely bound on having those huge loses along the way because instead on treating it as a leisure thing, they do rather focused it out as a side hustle and what make it worst is that they've been that getting the funds or capital from their main job just because they are trying out to pursue that side hustle that they do have in mind. lol. Its important that you should be able to distinguish things on which actually its not hard to see up things because you can just that simply make use of your own common sense then you will be able to find yourself having done or choose up the wrong thing. The only issue on here is that people are trying out to deal up with things on which it is that according into their belief and on what they do have in mind.

Gamble for fun and entertainment then you wouldnt be facing up any issues. Whats important on here is that you do only spend up into the amount on which it is extra or something that not come from your main income or getting a huge slice of it just because you've been hoping to deal up with your side hustle on which is not. lol

Maybe he thinks that people can makes money from gambling but if he can see what happens to those who often gambling, he will see not many people make money. If they gambling without control, they will lose much if not all money as gambling is not a job. Even they can make money from sports betting, they can't rely on that but search for a job to have a chance to make money.
At work, you have to work, but at a casino, you don't have to. )) Do you see the difference? People always look for the easiest way to solve problems. Financial problems are no exception. No one wants to toil from morning until night, doing physically demanding work. None of that happens with gambling. This is what attracts so much attention. The mere thought of earning money quickly and easily drives the mind crazy. Naturally, they'll choose the latter.
