Gambling definitely affect us negatively, but you'll be surprised when you see so many people took it as a source of income, while some people took it as a second option. I think it is a side hustle to some people and it is not for some people, those that won frequently may see it as a side hustle because they have at least 3 to 4 win a week so it quite a side hustle to them and i bet you have nothing to tell them to stop gambling because they are succeeding with it, mean while it is a barrier to some but based on chase for lost they find it difficult to quit mostly when they are addicted to gambling, they will keep chasing lost then fail to realize that they are even losing more, so to me it is two sided, it is a side hustle to some and not a side hustle to some.

Until these gamblers accept defeat and realize their wrong mindset, they still view gambling like that. And I assume that all who think that they can make a lot of money in gambling have already suffered losses.
