HarryPorter, thanks for the work that you have any. addnode=82.14.91.254 - I gave to the configuration file, but the wallet still has a problem with synchronization. Of course, very willing, I send you a little VC  hmm, shame. Let me change some settings on the server and see is that can help, but it could be problem with the clients. Block 259,185 - wallet is synchronized But what hardcoreminers? They are in a block of 321,803 http://vc.hardcoreminers.comdidn't know about them, looks like they fallow own chain. I was trying to connect to them and no chance for it. If they could share chain up to their number of block then we should use it, as the highest number of block is the best. But if they not sharing chain and nobody can connect to them.... and make transactions in their chains then what is the point looking what the are. I was hardly trying get or find any active node by couple last days - no success. Just received 0.45VC on addy I posted here before, so I am sure someone sent it to me. So I can confirm coin is alive & functional as it is now. if anybody of you can find out why hardcoreminers is not sharing chain, or how to get synced to them would be good. as we have some connections, and transactions going thru right now , you are better situation then before. It is opt. to you guys what do next. But this is all what I could do, as I had backups to those points and so on. |

Just received 0.45VC on addy I posted here before, so I am sure someone sent it to me. So I can confirm coin is alive & functional as it is now.
if anybody of you can find out why hardcoreminers is not sharing chain, or how to get synced to them would be good.
as we have some connections, and transactions going thru right now , you are better situation then before. It is opt. to you guys what do next. But this is all what I could do, as I had backups to those points and so on.
That .45 was me, but it looks like we have our own fork now and HC-miners have theirs. If someone could get their node-IP it would be easy to get back on track. |

That's just their site address, I'm sure they keep their wallets separate from the webserver or at least different from default wallet ports. We'll need that info to avoid creating a fork which will be very damaging for the coin at this level. |

"A further plan of action?" - well, as it is open project all of who is interested can/should speak. I can leave active node, if you like it. Maybe some basic website about vc coin for start would help too, as there is no any active atm. I can help a bit, but I am only crypto fan. Normally coin is driven by dev. and community so this is how it should stay. I can be around, for me this is coin like many others so see no reason why not to be here and watch how it goes. But be aware during BTC rise, there are hard days for other alt-coins. "Kenta" was pointing we may get fork as there is HC-miners pool chain going forward, but as I said no one can get synchronize to them some reason, would be better if we can clear that situation, get any respond from pool dev. , before we move on. But if we can not do anything about it, to keep coin functional this what we got right now is only one way I can see, unless others can do more so let them do. |

It is easy for VirtualCoin to hit mainstream & would be easily acceptable in public with popular name & track record of over 2 years.

I can’t believe that you guys are still updating this thread, I thought that this coin was dead ages ago, I bought a few thousands of VC back in 2014 when it was a listed on bittrex and I’m still holding them. Look guys! I work as a management consulting, and to put it simply, this implicates that I get hired by businesses to give them excellent ideas/strategies so that the can improve their companies and remain completive. I’m not trying to take over here, but I’m going to give you some free advices. I reviewed the last 10 pages to understand the current situation and I found these logos: ################################################################################# I personally like this one, however a few things of this logo that can be improved in the future.    ################################################################################# This is the second best in my opinion.     I can’t believe that you picked the current logo over these two corporative-like ones. This is a brief list of what the community of VirtualCoin needs to do in order to go to somewhere before we all die of old age: #Change the current logo for one of the two that I posted above. #Clean up the OP and replace it with relevant information and the new logo. #Fix the wallet and replace the logo with the new one. #Get VC listed at least on yobit for now. #After VC gets listed, THE COMMUNITY MUST NOT SELL ITS COINS UNDER 0.00500000, (expensive coins encourage people to buy and support communities). After doing all this, more projects can be added to VC and make it more valuable. I volunteer to pay for the premium listing service on yobit so that VC can be added there for sure if the community is willing to comply with the list above. I know that all this can be done in less than 10 days, I’ll return in a few days to see the answer of the community. Cheers! |
