Hey guys, could you check your PMs? I had an issue with an order of mine
Checking now — will get back to you there directly. Why do you say it can't be expedited when a transaction is canceled? Couldn't it be done quickly when there was a complaint from a user whose transaction was canceled, on the condition of showing OrderID?
Fair question. The 24h window isn't arbitrary — it's a fixed process specifically so refunds get handled the same way for everyone regardless of who's asking or how loudly. Expediting case-by-case opens the door to inconsistent treatment (and to people gaming urgency to jump the queue), which isn't worth the tradeoff for shaving off a few hours. I would also like to ask one thing, why does your site always display like the image below?
I can guess that the reason for the suspicion is the domain name "DEX". Your wallet could assume that DEX.fo is passing itself to be a decentralized exchange
Using uBlock never gives me any phishing warning on dex.fo. If it's prone to false positive, it doesn't seem like a good filter list.
Thanks both for jumping in on this one — that's likely exactly it. Heuristic filters on some wallets flag anything with "DEX" in the name or domain, assuming decentralized-exchange-style smart contract risk, which doesn't apply to how we operate. It's a false positive, not a real flag on the site. AakZaki — if you're comfortable doing it, reporting through the warning's own "report this site as safe" option genuinely helps; that's the fastest path to getting it whitelisted on their end, faster than anything we can do unilaterally from our side.

Yes, I can do it. Please tell me in a little detail what kind of problem has occurred. I analyzed the (Dex.Fo) project for the whole week a few days ago and gave some reviews on Bitlist, also shared more updates, you may have seen that. Since I have analyzed it for a few days, I have some idea about the project. But please tell us what problem happened with your order. Sorry, do you work for DEX.fo? Obviously, I meant that DEX.fo should check its messages.

do you work for DEX.fo? No No, I don't work but I saw the issue about PM and Order in your post, so I wanted to know about the matter. But it was not understandable that your post was intended for (Dex.Fo). Obviously, I meant that DEX.fo should check its messages.
Now I understand and the representative of (Dex.Fo) has already responded to your matter. I hope the problem will be solved. Thank you.

do you work for DEX.fo? No No, I don't work but I saw the issue about PM and Order in your post, so I wanted to know about the matter. But it was not understandable that your post was intended for (Dex.Fo). There is a reason he decided to send them a PM rather than post out the issue in this thread. Maybe one of them is privacy so it's usually best to leave the representative to have it handled. Wanting to know what he communicated via PM is rather intrusive, or we might start to think you are an imposter

Maybe there was a mistake in understanding that it was said with (Dex.Fo) in mind and they have also made it clear that it was said to (Dex.Fo), so there is no need to continue talking about this anymore.

Yesterday I reported it but I'm not sure I filled out the form correctly. But if you don't mind, how should this form be filled out to report that this site is not phishing? After I click "Report that ths site doesn't cointain threats" I am directed to fill out the form below. Is this how to fill out the form? Maybe it would be good for you to also ask for help from your customers who have made transactions on this site. Honestly it was annoying to me when the warning first appeared, even though it was a false positive.

It's already been a few weeks and I had yet to test out the exchange. Just when I said I'd check it, I always forgot, and me generally not making many cryptocurrency transactions, also assisted in the delay. The exchange itself is extremely straightforward and the exchange itself took about an hour to be honoured. I used the standard method and not the fast one, which is okay if you're not in a hurry I guess. It's by no means instant like others, but it's doesn't advertise itself as such. So far, so good, I'm satisfied.

``` Yesterday I reported it but I'm not sure I filled out the form correctly. But if you don't mind, how should this form be filled out to report that this site is not phishing?
Honestly don't have the exact field-by-field breakdown for their form — it varies by wallet/browser vendor and changes without notice on their end. General rule that usually applies: describe the site's actual function accurately (automated crypto exchange, no account/registration required) and note it's a false positive specifically flagging the "DEX" naming pattern rather than any real malicious behavior. Your instinct on asking other users to report too isn't a bad one — more reports from real users tends to carry more weight with these filter lists than one report alone. Not going to push anyone to do it, but if people want to, it helps. And fair on the annoyance — a false positive is still friction for anyone hitting it cold, appreciate you sticking with it and reporting anyway. The exchange itself is extremely straightforward and the exchange itself took about an hour to be honoured. I used the standard method and not the fast one, which is okay if you're not in a hurry I guess. It's by no means instant like others, but it's doesn't advertise itself as such. Appreciate the honest rundown — especially the point about not overpromising speed on Chain mode. Setting the right expectation upfront matters more to us than sounding impressive, glad that came through in practice.
Yep, that matters a lot because honesty is the best policy. Always give more time and do it in less, it will always have a good impact, although it is not some dark trick. A lot of companies and projects are using it because giving a timeline will always give the user a sense that their funds will come back to them in whatever pair they have chosen. Because we are sending our funds, and newbies are mostly afraid because they need some surety, like tracking where it has reached. It is not the case with KYC exchanges though, but people trust them because they are like banks. Here, privacy matters most and everything relies on trust, that if it is built, then it can't be shaken.
Yes, it's the first such type of exchange that doesn't advertise itself as instant exchange, although we know that no KYC exchanges can't be instant because of many reasons but the name instant exchange is used everywhere that's why most of such type of exchanges advertise their services as instant exchange. However, we are glad to see that Dex.Fo doesn't advertise such things, but we all know that they're providing best services to users and that matters more than calling their services instant.
You and I know there are some instant exchanges, and they are really instant! But still, I would love to know more about why a no-KYC exchange can't be an instant exchange. It might have many reasons, but I would love it if you explain it a little more. Dex.fo, on the other hand, says with their Chain mode, the ETA can be 30 to 60 minutes, but I have received my funds earlier than 20 minutes. So 30 to 60 minutes ETA means they are giving us a window to wait for our funds, which sometimes could be delayed because they are passing through bridges. But if we use their own reserves mode, then the ETA is 5 to 15 minutes, and the funds are exchanged in less than 5 minutes.
I've seen other competitors advertising as instant, which usually means within a few minutes. Personally to me; that's about instant and honestly is pretty handy, but on the other hand, I don't believe it's such a huge deal to wait approximately an hour for a KYC-free exchange. There's also the fast option, which isn't that costly either, but truthfully, receiving the transaction 30 minutes faster doesn't make it much better or different to me. It's good to have it, but I highly doubt I'm going to pay even a small difference in fees for such a minor inconvenience.
You and I know there are some instant exchanges, and they are really instant! But still, I would love to know more about why a no-KYC exchange can't be an instant exchange. It might have many reasons, but I would love it if you explain it a little more.
There are multiple reasons and the top reason is that on instant exchanges a user has to send funds for swapping and there could be some delay because of network state. Once the funds reach the exchange's receiving wallet there could be further delays before the user receives the funds. After that short delay, there's delay that's because of the network state of the other swapped coin, and that's why the instant exchanges can't be fully instant, but yes most no KYC exchanges use the name instant exchanges and when we hear the word instant exchange we get the idea that the exchange is a no KYC exchange. Other exchanges that claim to be instant exchanges work similar to DEX.fo, some of those exchanges have their liquidity reserves so they can transfer funds faster but not instantly, however on the other end there're exchanges that use liquidity from third parties, both type serve the purpose but still the transactions aren't instant. I've used multiple such exchanges and at some exchanges it took me 20 minutes and at some more than 30 minutes. So it makes sense to call such exchanges as auto exchanges where everything works automatically. A user just has to send coins to the receiving wallet provided by the exchange when transaction is started, and the user adds his/her wallet as receiving wallet to receive the swapped coins but nothing happens instantly, it takes sometime for the such transactions to get completed.
When you want to post in open forum where we have experts, you at least make sure you are stating the fact, or instead ask it as a question if you are not sure. I am saying this because i once encountered you in b1exch thread where you said b1exch is a decentralized exchange because it is a No KYC exchange. Here you are boldly making another blunder that No KYC exchanges cannot be instant, and yet you could not clearly explain yourself. Please note that instant exchange does not mean instant transaction. It simply means that exchanges/swaps are done without following the traditional order book pattern(you don't need to be matched with someone willing to sell at a price before you can buy).
There's also the fast option, which isn't that costly either,
Is the fast option active now? As far as I can see from my browser, it seems like there's only chain option available. I've tried changing pairs and nothing seems to change. Speaking of which, I'm curious about the reserve details on the footer. Might be a UI issue but it seems like some reserve stays at the same number for days now. Is this up to date or is the update lagging? For example, I remember seeing BTC at 5.53 for the last few days (or week).
It wasn't active yesterday either, fast option seemed to be unavailable and appeared to be constantly "loading" but ultimately wasn't provided as an option. I'm unsure why and how that is, but I'm guessing it should be resolved soon. Till then, we'll have to stick with the chain (slow) exchange rate. It would be pleasant if Dex.fo shed some light into what's causing it and an ETA on when it's going to return.
Fair questions, here's where things actually stand: Fast mode's security setup is genuinely complex — more moving parts than Chain mode, since it's running off our own reserves rather than routing through bridges. Getting that right takes ongoing tuning, which is why it goes offline periodically rather than running 24/7 without interruption yet. There's a recurring maintenance window roughly between 20:00–07:00 UTC where Fast gets taken offline for tuning — that's most likely what you're both hitting. Outside that window it should be available; if you're still seeing it down well outside those hours, that's worth flagging separately since it'd point to something else. On the reserve counter appearing frozen — noted, that's likely a display/UI lag rather than the actual reserve being stuck. We're looking into it. Bigger picture: we're working daily on both speed and bug fixes — this isn't a "set it and forget it" situation for us. Transaction speed should keep improving as infrastructure scales up, and more coins are getting added along the way too. Not everything moves as fast as we'd like, but nothing raised here goes unread or ignored. Appreciate you both for pushing on the details instead of just shrugging it off — that kind of feedback is genuinely what keeps this moving in the right direction.
