There are so many reasons that can keep a person engaged in gambling, from well-designed interfaces and psychological tricks to personal issues that people try to escape or release through the game. Personally, I don't usually give up just because of a lot of losses, because had it been I didn't go for the next bet last week, I would have ended up losing everything. But after the losses I had on Saturday, I decided to use the little money in my Betfury account and chase my losses, which actually made me to recover some money. Well, I think this is the biggest lie that a gambler should say to himself, and he knows very well that from the start of the day, he does not win a single bet. This is true, because quitting after one very loss doesn't make sense even those that claims to be gambling for fun might not quit after losing from their first trial. I thought those who gamble for fun stick to the gamble regardless of the outcome untill they are satisfied with the fun? personally I don't quit from my first attempt, I only do that when I don't have enough bankroll to continue gambling. When I have enough bankroll sometimes I used to go for like 5 times before I will be satisfied but not this time, this time around I only go for like 2-3 times after that I will go for a break.

How can a gambler manage to set limits while gambling? Because when they win, they will continue playing with the urge to win more and they will even tend to raise their bet amount since they see themselves winning. When they lose, they will keep playing with the belief that they will win, thinking that a losing streak cannot go on forever. So yes, in theory it seems as though setting limits is possible but in reality it is not very likely.
