Honestly, I'm having a hard time deciding who I'd back. Canelo is experienced and skilled in boxing, but as far as I know, he had an elbow injury and is also recovering mentally from his last defeat. I can't say much about MBilli; he's considered an underdog, but MBilli became a full-fledged WBC champion in early 2026, and that's worth remembering. M'Billi has good motivation and psychological confidence. Alvarez has his signature counter-attacking style, but it's hard to say whether that will help against MBilli.

Don’t be delusional my bro, I love Canelo like crazy but this fight is not gonna be an easy one for him at all.
Mbilli is fucking tank, the guy has got power, aggression and doesn’t mind dogging it out because he can take shots so i wouldn’t be surprised if he beats Canelo.
I'm not delusional; I based it on a factual analysis of past performance and overall skill. For the record, the three fighters that beat Canelo are technical fighters and future Hall of Famers; the biggest question is who Mbili has fought. I can't recall any tough dogs Mbili has fought and beaten.Mbili is the kind of fighter that Canelo can easily beat because he is flat-footed; the punches are telepathic; there's nothing new Mbili can bring that Canelo hasn't seen.Cmon now don’t do this. In as much as I agree with most of what you have said, I wouldn’t agree with your claims that Mbili hasn’t tussled with any tough dogs yet in his career and that Canelo will beat him so easily. First of all, you’re talking as if Mbili is some kind of padded journeyman that was being given bums to fight since the beginning of his career, which is not the case here. He may not have been fighting top tier names like GGG, Bivol and Co, but he has definitely dogged it out with very tough and legitimate contenders in his division; I’d start to mention names but i don’t think that would be necessary cos you can always look it up in your own free time. Secondly, for you to say that it’s gonna be an easy fight for Canelo indicates to me that you’re probably ignoring the residual dangers that Canelo faces from Mbili being a volume puncher and also the questions about where Canelo’s form currently sits at especially after his recent loss to Crawford, which IMO is not really an ideal thing to do when you have a classic veteran technician VS an aggressive power pressure challenger matchup like this. Don’t get me wrong, i’m not definitively saying that Mbili will beat Canelo, infact i think Canelo has a slight edge over him. But it would be a big mistake for Canelo to underestimate him and think that oh!, it’s gonna be easy for me, it sure is not gonna be.

I see this as an open fight that can be won by any of them because nothing is impossible, and as you have already said, if canelo is still nursing his elbow injury and is short of confidence due to his last defeat, their are chances that he might lose to M'Billi on 31 October unless things drastically improved from his own end. Games like this are not won or lost by mere speculation as we are doing now, so until they enters the ring and show what they are made of, we can't be too certain of which of them might carries the day.

Canelo may look relaxed coming to many of his fights, but that doesn't mean that he was underestimating any of his opponents. He takes his training seriously; he always takes care of his business. For him, there is no easy fight. Of course, Mbili has a chance because there are upsets, but he never overlooks or underestimates his opponents, and he will not blow up his legacy. So expect the same Canelo who fought great fighters like Bivol, Golovkin, and others.

Wow, I can see you guys really love those underdog odds and find them attractive. Remember, this is still Canelo. Losing to Crawford doesn’t mean he already lost his old self.
Though I can’t blame you because the odds are really enticing. But I guess I wouldn’t be joining that side for now, it’s still too early and things could still change. For now, I still think Canelo has the advantage in this fight.
Me too, Mbilli doesn't sound a good side to bet especially after i saw how intensive Canelo's training in Usyk's gym. I remember AJ was also doing training there, and it worked so well for him against Prenga. It looks the same story may be happening to the Canelo to get sauce from Usyk's gym to kick Mbilli's ass. My money goes to Canelo.

I've been following Canelo's career for quite some time now and i do agree that whenever he trains, he trains hard and doesn't underestimate an opponent which is for me a great trait for a boxer. Canelo is the favorite on this matchup and the ML odds doesn't look good if you only bet small so you might look for other option/market to increase the odds like Canelo by decision @1.83, this is a bit enticing. But for me, i would go for Mbilli as the odds for him to win via decision is quite high @5.30 as of now. Canelo is fading, no longer in his prime so imo Mbilli has a great chance of pulling an upset on him though this is hard but doable. I have read an article that the venue for this fight will be Las Vegas as it is chaotic now in Saudi Arabia, not safe for the fighters going there now.

It could be that Canelo has still a few fights left in him, and this could be one of them. Although it's going to be hard as Mbili is sa young fighter and has power. But Canelo might have seen the best of them already, although he has lost a few, but still his game might still be there for him. But it's good to see that there are gamblers because of the recent upset that we have seen, are going to put their money on Mbili here. I won't blame them, as again, they might think that Canelo is already on the downside of his career.

From the little time that I have been following cane Alvarez fights,it doesn't seem like mbilli will survive this fight. Alvarez is more experienced which is an advantage he can use to subdued mbilli in the ring. Mbilli is younger and more agile looking but fights aren't won by strengths but by experience. Alvarez canelo knows exactly where to land his punches to collapse Mbilli in an Instant using his experience. Frankly speaking, I'm expecting Alvarez to beat the daylight out of him unless old age has taken a toil on him.

Risking 100% of your money just to get 82% return doesn't sounds good consider this fight is still remain 60/40. I understand it, however, i won't bet on Mbilli because despite his agression, he seems has no power to hurt washed Canelo. I think to risky small amt of money on Canelo, hope he tells Mbilli a lesson soon. It could be that Canelo has still a few fights left in him, and this could be one of them. Caneloa may not as good as he used to be a few years ago, but he still strong enough to hang with Mbilli, and he's also having a better perparation and i think he will put upset to Mbilli. Both have been in layoff for a while now , Canelo is a great fighter with a lot experience. That doesn’t change the fact that mbilli is still an excellent fighter. I wouldn’t judge either fighter based on the training footage we have seen, there’s always stuff happening behind the scenes . I’m pretty sure both fighters are given this their all , one as a defending Champion , while the other is coming in as the challenger looking to reclaim the WBC title. This is definitely going to be an interesting fight and I’m not gonna miss it .

That's still a hard game to predict, but i feel so confidence to go for Canelo here. He takes this game seriously. His advanced training will help him a lot. Mbilli has leaky defense, and it can give a momentum for Canelo to give him lots of volume. If it's happening, then i don't see chance for Mbilli to win the game. Mbilli is flawed, and a superior boxer like Canelo can use that advantage to beat him. I saw when Mbilli unable to beat Martinez, which is below Canelo's level. So this fight is a harder fight for him. I can feel Canelo to upset Mbilli soon. I can't wait for the fight to come, but we're still a month away.

I don't think Canelo's skill is on the downside; his recent loss came against one of the best boxers in the world. He was still good when he fought Crawford. I will have a second thought on Canelo if he is fighting a boxer who is as good as Crawford, but MBili is not on Crawford's level, so I am still very confident that Canelo will win this match-up; it's not even going to be a close match.

Probably its due to a match up problem. just like when Manny fought Mayweather, the runner won via unanimous decision, and fans still think that Manny is the best boxer. So if Mbilli does not have the style as Crawford then most likely Canelo will still win there. For me, experience do matter a lot and Canelo has more compared to his opponent.

That is the thing with Canelo, if he step up the competition like Bivol and Crawford, he losses the fight. So for me, it might say that he might slowly be in the decline unlike in his prime wherein he beat GGG (although it's questionable and some controversies). And even his fight with John Ryder, yes he won, but some fans are disappointed on his performance specially that he fought in his native Mexico. Yes, I do agree that Crawford is not on Mbili's level, but then again, who would have thought that Itauma is going to lose. I'm comparing that upset do happen from time to time, or so when we least expected. I know it's hard to admit that maybe Canelo is on a decline, but we all know that father time is undefeated.

The bookies has speculated that this fight belongs to Canelo Alvarez by placing him as the huge favorite in this matchup so if you are a fan of Canelo Alvarez then betting for the ML odds @1.34 would be the way to go to avoid any complications but for me as a fan who have watched Canelo for a while will give a shot on Christian Mbilli. I like his chance here as he is a volume puncher and has power. The only disadvantage he is that he was away from the boxing ring for a year now, i hope he would compensate that by training hard in the gym. We have seen few upsets lately in boxing, could this one be included in the trend? We have three weeks to go before fight night and i'm looking at Mbilli to win by decision @5.20, that for me is worth the try.

Don’t get me wrong, i’m not definitively saying that Mbili will beat Canelo, infact i think Canelo has a slight edge over him. But it would be a big mistake for Canelo to underestimate him and think that oh!, it’s gonna be easy for me, it sure is not gonna be.

Canelo hasn’t knocked anyone out in the last 4-5years though, so i’m genuinely curious about how he intends to handle Mbili cos that guy is very difficult to dissuade mentally and he will fight toe to toe to the very end. It’s not gonna be a walk in the park for Canelo at all; “everybody is talking about oh he’s got ring IQ, he’s got defense and can counter punch”, like Mbili is just gonna stand there and do nothing while getting punched in the face lol. Ok what if he counterpunches and Mbili doesn’t respect his power huh, what’s gonna happen then?, I’d really love to know. This fight is gonna take a toll on both fighters but i think it will more on Canelo. I just hope he wins though, for his sake,if not it might mean the end of his era and the beginning of a new one for Mbili.

After his loss to Crwford this fight is a deciding factor if Canelo still has it, I think Canelo's team considers it because his style is very different from Crawford, he wants an aggressive fighter not a technical fighter. Canelo, on all three losses, had a hard time against technical fighters. Mayweather, Bivol, and Crawford are all technical fighters who love to move and pick angles and frustrate their opponents. Mbili is a fighter who is flatfooted and an easy target for a counter, so Mbili is a fighter who can give a big boost to Canelo after his loss to Crawford.

Honestly, i'm not expecting big like Canelo to KO Mbilli in a few rounds, but i think Canelo to win by UD with his counterpunching. Beside that i admit we saw some upsets, but it's not all of fight is ending on that way. Ryan was the favorite able to trash Benn so fast, and i hope same trend to happen with Canelo to win the game even if it's with UD.

It's not that easy to shake ring rust, regardless on how intense your training is. Totally different in the ring and when you are hit in the mouth. We have seen boxers who are great but ring rust is still a problem for them when they make a comeback. Yes, everything is possible in the ring, even if you are up in the judges scorecard for 11 rounds, that just one hail mary shot and you go down to sleep and you lost the fight. That's how brutal this sports is, unlike in any other sports wherein if you have a big lead, you can protect it at all cost. While here, everything can go down if you are hit at the right spot at the right time.

I'm not sure what I think about Canelo's fight with Mbilli because Canelo is only good in experience and stability compared to Mbilli. But if it comes to speed Mbilli got the advanta, then the his fist is so hard as well if canelo taste it. So it's hard to underestimate. Besides that, Canelo has been away for a long time and he has a history of injuries so it seems difficult to predict who will really win between the two due to both boxers have something to say.
