Can anyone explain how to mint fresh coins with PoS?
do we need to put something special on communitycoin.conf file, like gen=1 or something?
Or the only thing needed is just to have open comm wallet with aged coins....

Thx in advance.

I'm more dissapointed with ungratefull people who already received some stake (for free) than with trolls. You should be happy with what you have and supporting Comm as you used to do before, just like me and Majormax. People think that they deserve stake only by clicking the Mintpal button  Huh Therefore people kept clicking and supporting Comm, only hoping for the last stake. Sure they would dissapear and dump it on an exchange thereafter.
Greed is killing people. I had even a couple of good members who already received 2 million, trying to get another million.
Right now we need to find people who can really bring some real innovation to Comm. If you think you can help Comm to get to the next level than please get in touch with us and a bounty will be discussed with the dev.

Na mate that crap is just wrong. as stated I received both stakes, but I think is wrong you guys dangle a carrot in front of people, then not hand it out.

"People think that they deserve stake only by clicking the Mintpal button  Huh"

wtf is with that, people did the best they could, now you are picky and choose with what you guys suddenly deem worthy or not?

"Greed is killing people"

Dev and associated people are killing this coin., you guys are attracting the trolls and creating enemies for the coin, by being unclear then denying people who tried their best.

I gave 100,000 of my 1,000,000 stake away early to an early complainer on the thread and another 100,000 to a member of Poloniex trollbox to promote COMM.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6268782#msg6268782

I was the first to spend BTC for votes early on on MintPal, along with clicking that button about 1,000 times

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6196498#msg6196498

I staked 6 members with BTC to vote in the coinpayments.net voting and would have staked many more if only the community would have been engaged enough to vote

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6268884#msg6268884

Even tried to fight the FUD, though we all know that is a losing battle

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6287757#msg6287757

Spread the word on the multi-pool as I could (that got integrated into the OP) and pointed my miners at it

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=558319.msg6339450#msg6339450

And donated COMM to several of the big community projects.

This was never about cashing in on free coins for me, I loved the idea of this coin from the start.  The reason I am leaving is not because I didn't get a 2nd stake but because those of us who were passed over in the 2nd staking aren't in anyway being treated fairly by the Dev or his communicators, we are made to feel like we are a burden and cast in a negative light as this drags on and on and the story constantly changes.  That is why I am leaving, I just want to be told the truth and I am not getting that respect.

I already put you on the reconsideration list. What else could I have done? Why do you think I have treated you unfairly, or even the other communicator or the dev?
By the way I think you should have given it some time cos you might have have ruined your chance to receive the other stake.

Thanks samysamy1, including the "communicators" in my comment was mainly targeted at Majormax and his flippant attitude towards those members who have worked hard to better the coin/community and are now being sent through a rat's maze for a 2nd stake but there is no stake at the end.  Majormax's line of thought seems to be yes the coin's origin may be rotten to the core, yes the dev may have cashed out big by socking away coins meant for member stakes and dumping on the exchanges (Majormax claims that is good for distribution), but none of it matters bcs COMM has got enough ppl sucked in with the free coins (read infrastructure) that they will continue to work tirelessly to advance the coin and screw off to you early contributors and community members who don't appreciate dishonesty and playing the dev's little shell game.

I don't have a problem that I lost the 2nd stake bcs of my comments above, given the events of the last week I have no realistic expectations it would ever be sent even if the dev himself directly told me it would, the trust I have left in this coin's dev is 0.  Stringing it out for another 2 - 3 weeks going through the same nonsense and misinformation ad naseum for 1,000,000 fake coins isn't worth the stress or my time and effort.

You need to fire the damn dev, then maybe the coin can flourish.

Not really... just a combination of trolls making people a bit nervous, and some dumps. It's to be expected this early on. The coins will need to get redistributed a lot, for the coin to move up, so it's not surprising. If the coin ever gets to 1000+, I expect very few of the original stakeholders to even have their coins anymore.

That said, the dev should release a proper distribution list, just to give less ammunition to trolls. I expect their main goal is to lower the price (notice trolling occurs mostly after a pump?) ... to buy in, then wait for higher price, sell... and repeat process.

There will be those who didn't receive stakes or have sour grapes about selling early, and they'll join in with the fud too.

The best thing people can do is simply focus on what needs to be done next. More publicity, a marketplace, coinpayments, cryptsy, etc.

we should put a thread for the multipool in the mining section.
(however, I did mine it a bit... yesterday and the day before but not full day and I was very disappointed (pissed off is more appropriate...) to see I mined the equivalent of 0.00000909BTC in a little more than 12hours using wafflepool at 700khash/s... )

from the total ~470 people we paid, we removed following people from the 2nd round distribution:
1. Those who cheated with same account different wallet addresses
2. Those who cheated with different accounts but we determined that they are all the same person
3. Those we accidentally paid twice (only a few - so many payments sent)
4. Those who did not access their accounts for the last week
5. Those who sold the coins and/or encourage others to sell.
6. Those who attacked the COMM coin and devs

I didn't recieve second round and i did nothing from 1-6

could someone explain so that i don't have to search here in the thread?
You can see the list here:
