There is a list of COMM which was distributed  in the fist 2 phases here:

http://communitycoin.info/UPLOAD-list-ASC.html

Surprising how much effort went into spreading that around.

Do a search for the word TRUE on those logs, amazing the gap between that number and the number claimed to be distributed even when accounting for the "lost" wallet.  And we all know how hard it is for one person to setup multiple wallets.

You credibility as a member of this forum loses value every post you make defending or deflecting blame off the thief Dev, you know he is BS, you know you are BS, why keep typing BS to cover BS?

Ignore the troll. It is weird how almost every new coin gets their own troll nowadays. Or multiple. You'd think moderators should really start suspending some of them. Anyway, whatever qualms he has about the dev, distribution, or whatever he whines about, only became an issue to him after he admitted he sold his Comm. So it's not a moral issue, nor does he has altruistic motives, trying to protect people ... as otherwise he would have brought it up earlier. He either is the sour grapes sort or is a troll with no life, or both.

Yes.. both I guess. Look at his posting history from profile.

The posts are rather like random words which have little meaning.

I take it that there is no way to suspend/ban trolls if people report them to a moderator? I mean, bringing up concerns is one thing. But trolls go way beyond that. The giant letters are sort of a tip-off. I know moderators are anti-spam and have shut down threads due to people spamming forums with short giveaway posts. Why don't they ban trolls, which produce way more spam?

You can report posts, yes, but I don't know what criteria are used to ban them.

Ironically, we only see this because the dev chose not to moderate the thread, preferring the maximum openness of speech.

You see this because the Dev, oh sorry the Dev team, chose not to be honest and steal millions from good community members and treat them like dishonest children, you ignore this because you got your stakes (probably extra for being his lackey, right?)

Great News, Everyone! mymenace came through with a new header image for the subreddit, and it looks great!

http://www.reddit.com/r/communitycoin/

Have a look at the design. Comments, suggestions are all welcome - I've already acted on two of them, and mymenace has come through for a third!

One more call after this one and I'm letting the matter rest if there's nothing more to do.

Looks very good. Nothing to add or remove so far!  Wink

My donation will go to your address as soon as my next PoS cycle will be finished.

Thanks a lot!
5000 COMM on your way mate. Thanks for your hard work! Smiley

Can anyone explain how to mint fresh coins with PoS?
do we need to put something special on communitycoin.conf file, like gen=1 or something?
Or the only thing needed is just to have open comm wallet with aged coins....

Thx in advance.

Just have wallet open, coins not moved for at least 1 day, and give it time: the minting is based on probability, cone age, and your processor power.

I will write an FAQ on minting stake sometime in the next week or so.. but first awaiting the draft of new website.. imminent.

We are probably the best coin around cause we have at least 4 resident Trolls, they work in shifts, no other coin can claim that.

Although i can´t see what the troll of the hour is writing i can see he his posting.... ahhhh ....the silence!

Guys you have to try...just press the ignore button, such a satisfying experience, knowing that something is barking but you can't hear a thing.

Bloody marvellous !

Give it time... it will climb. There is definitely interest in the coin! You aint gonna get stinking rich off COMM overnight now... that phase has already passed...

Even after COMM hit cryptsy the price isnt rising.

Last 24H combined volume at Polo+Mint+Bter was 140 BTC, meaning that at an average price of 125 sat, 112 Million COMM have changed hands.

This is good, even if the price isn't changing now, we have some volume, people are stocking on COMM because they believe it will raise in price, and of course they are taking advantage of weak hands.

This coin is far from dead. I believe when COMM reaches its prime, probably 90+% of holders will not be the original ones.
