They have to improve a lot because you can't hope to win a Champions League final with a single lucky goal. You need to have the chance to extend the lead or strike back when the opponent equalized the match. Since it is almost impossible to have an opponent like PSG not score a goal, you can be sure that you have to score twice at least to have a proper chance to win a final like that. No doubt about that we expect them to do well next season and I trust they would if they don't sell out some of their first squad players.
So far no team we can be sure of that is in their level yet, although it might change when the starts because there are new coaches in the league now and they are all good coaches who can actually challenge Arteta for the title if all things go well for them as we all expect.
I'm pretty certain that not all of the new coaches will fail to perform, so either of them will definitely perform well and give Arteta a good fight for the trophy.

Next season will be a different ball game entirely, and Arsenal might find it difficult to reach the finals because most big clubs are working tirelessly to strengthen their team by buying new players and sell off the weak ones. It's not that nice having a single pattern as a team because this can make other teams "to see you finish" meaning knowing you to your finger tip which is actually a disadvantage and a red flag to any team that actually work with such strategy. Arsenal really need to step up their game a bit and  improve more on this very aspect because they can't be battle with this to this point. However, if their is need for them to sign new attackers at least to get things fix up then they shouldn't hesitate in doing that because they really need to put things in order before the league kick off.

I totally agree with you. Arteta has not changed his  tactics much. They played defensive strategy in every match. Arsenal were  successful because their defense was very strong and they were also very lucky. But this strategy is outdated. Dominating the premier league will be much more difficult if this strategy is played next season. Arsenal's squad is strong. They even have plenty of talented forwards in attack. I  believe that only by changing the match strategy will their overall performance be  stronger. It is difficult to do well  with the same strategy  over a long period of time.

But towards the end of the season and in the knockout rounds of the champions aeague, we've seen Arsenal play defensively.

Especially in the champions league matches, they did not want to take any risks. They played defensively in all the matches in the knockout rounds. In the 7 matches in the knockout  round, Arsenal scored only  7 goals and conceded only 3 goals. In the final, I thought Arsenal would change their tactics. But Arteta created the same tactics in the final as well. But Arteta applied several different tactics in the premier league matches.

Arsenal have been improving for some years now and we have seen the evidence of their improvement in recent times especially this season especially when they win the premier league title after a long time which shows Arteta have really improved the team to be able to compete at the highest level.
