I believe that Mourinho wants to use players who tend to verticalize much more. Real Madrid have always been a very attacking team and i think they want to go back to that style of play a bit, making the most of players like Vinicius, hoping he renews his contract, Mbappé, Alexander-Arnold.

Real Madrid is not only more focused on attack, but also on defense, maximizing tactics in midfield to make their wingers more lively. And I also believe Mourinho will make Real Madrid strong again, but when it comes to tactics and desires, I don't know what Mourinho will implement at Real Madrid next season. Real Madrid's new manager is working through the warm-up matches with the new players joining the team, so I think Real Madrid will have a chance to win the La Liga trophy in the upcoming season but Barcelona's players are in great form, therefore it seems they will have a chance to surpass Real Madrid in the upcoming season as well.

I don't like talking about hypotheses, i don't feel like saying that Real Madrid won't do well this year or in any case that they won't be able to aspire to a title, because, as we remember Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen, the first year he won the championship and was also about to win the Europa League. So Mourinho could easily do the same thing, being in charge of a legendary team like Real Madrid. Who knows? He can do well or he can do badly, he could win the Champions League or not.

I believe Real Madrid recruited Mourinho not out of desperation, but because management saw that Madrid current situation desperately needed a coach with Mourinho character. If you're pessimistic that Mourinho won't bring Madrid back to glory, given his decline at previous clubs you're dead wrong. Remember Ancelotti? Before he returned to Madrid, Ancelotti also experienced a decline, even worse when he coached Everton. However, upon his return he was successful and even won the Champions League title with Real Madrid.

So in my opinion, failure at a previous club shouldn't be used as a benchmark because Real Madrid management doesn't look at the previous club but at the quality and character of the coach, in this case Mourinho. Real Madrid management believes Mourinho is the only coach who can curb the selfishness of the current Madrid players and he did succeed during his first spell in charge. His first spell in fact featured far more star players than he does now. I believe Mourinho will lead Real Madrid to success next season, especially with the depth of his squad.

Let's not reason like this, because Mourinho is an experience manager and also not new in this profession, likewise the same way other managers have been making decisions and some are yielding a positive outcome while some are not, it is a matter of putting in his best abilities and trying to see how it could work along side with the team demands and coordination required, but I believe he has something to offer this new season as part of his target to ensure that his entire team are back on track in their performances.

His experience is quite a lot in various leagues during his coaching, we can not close our eyes to the achievements that have been achieved by Jose Mourinho, so he should be able to stay and give the best results for Real Madrid, although for his first experience did not give the champions League trophy, but now it looks like he will fill the void of that trophy in his coaching time at Real Madrid.

i also believe that Real have never been in such a confusing situation for several years now. In fact, Mourinho's choice on the bench surprised me too, especially because Mourinho himself did not come from a particularly profitable situation at the level of trained teams. I had to read the full post of @zoomic to understand that he was referring to Real Madrid under Jose Mourinho returning back to dominating Europe again. Maybe you didn't fully get his point. Real Madrid has be struggling in the last two seasons so his expectation is that they'll return back to winning ways as a club and dominate Europe like they used to do in the past.

If they are going to be big contenders of the UCL then that also means that they are going to have an even higher chance of winning their own league, FC Barcelona might be difficult for them to beat especially since they are still going to need to get used to playing with Mourinho but that doesn't mean that won't show good promise, even if they don't win they simply have to perform well enough and place well at the end of the league.

But having José Morinho could also be the most influential factor the team would have over Barcelona this season. All through José Morinho's encounter as a manager against Barcelona, he has always been holding up, winning 2 of those encounters, drawing 2 and losing 2 of the encounters in the laliga. There's one good trait that he brings to the team which is the never giving up and pressing threats. With their recent players signings together with the new coach winning mindset, they will possibly challenge Barcelona this season. Real Madrid seems to have a bigger dream which is the champions league so it's also possible to put more focus on the champions League but this will not affect their clash with Barcelona who is their prime rivalry. So I see the coming of José Morinho as strength and not weakness to the team.

Even though their eyes seem to be more on the Champions League I still think they would want to end the season with more than one trophy, coming out on top of the Laliga is definitely something that they are going to want and with Barcelona being their biggest obstacle most of Mourinho's effort might go to making sure Barcelona doesn't dominate over them, it will be hard for them to perform great in the Champions League is the morale from the Laliga isn't strong enough.
